Nightmare Render

Summary[]

Nightmares are horse-like creatures originating from the Lower Planes, such as the Abyss, the Nine Hells, or Gehenna. They are the standard choice of mount for high-ranking fiends and undead alike, most often searching devil and demon lords, vampires, liches, and other evil-aligned creatures such as the shadar-kai. They are truly wicked beings and are best known for their flaming bodies and vicious tempers.

Notable Nightmares include Beucephalus, the mount of Strahd von Zarovich, and Bloodcurdle, who serves Glaysa, Archduchess of Hell, as a mount.
