Power of the Verse
Despite only having five films and handful of other material, The MonsterVerse demonstrates a decent amount of feats. It has powerful titans displaying amazing feats making the strongest characters between Tier 10 and 6. Despite that, most characters don't nearly compare to their original counterparts.
Humans have a standard Athlete level physically, and Street to Wall level with weapons. Some humans who can control the Titans have a solid Tier 6 for using them as weapons. Also, this verse is quite a bit more advanced than the real world. With weapons like the Oxygen Destroyer capable of isolating oxygen molecules and splitting them.
Godzilla 2014 (and the respective comics) introduced Godzilla, the MUTOs, and Shinomura, who currently are at least Country level+, as the former survived half of the full explosion yield of an underwater nuclear explosion despite being weak and near-death, and both MUTOs and Shinomura are strong enough to battle Godzilla.
Kong: Skull Island (and the respective comics) introduced many lower-level titans that range from Street level to at least City Block level.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters introduced a number of the main titans in the verse, between them there is Mothra who dispersed clouds by just flying, which is a Mountain level feat. Rodan is much stronger than her as he nearly killed her, but there is also a titan above him: King Ghidorah, who fought a stronger-than-normal Godzilla in the film.
Godzilla vs. Kong introduced Mechagodzilla and made Godzilla drill a hole from the surface to Hollow Earth, being Large Island level in power and High Hypersonic+ in speed, boosting verse's combat and reaction speeds to that level, since Titans like King Ghidorah could dodge Godzilla's Atomic Breath.
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire introduced plenty new Titans like Skar King or Shimo, as well as boosting verse's power to Large Country level by the fact that Evolved Godzilla is stated to be two times stronger than before, as well as receiving Continent level bits in Godzilla's energy capacity being 20 times higher than before, as well as due to Shimo being able to cause an Ice Age.
However, since the verse is still fairly recent, it will likely end up significantly growing in power across the following years. Upcoming comics and films will introduce plenty of other Titans, which will potentially boost the verse's tier to even higher levels.
Video Games like Godzilla Battle Line saw Godzilla and Kong skyrocket to Large Star level, as they could overpower the most powerful kaiju in the universe and trade blows with SpaceGodzilla, who was said to have absorbed the entire energy of at least two stellar explosions.
Crossover-wise, the verse reaches cosmic to multiversal levels of power, with Godzilla and Kong being consistently on par with Universe level beings, and consuming fruits and items that put them at the level of the Multiverse level Gods.
Godzillaverse has some notable striking strength feats, as they are capable of destroying Mountains and beyond with their physical attacks.
The verse's levels range from Below Average level on the lower ends, to Multiversal on the higher ends.
Characters had high lifting strength feats, that ranged from Below Average Human on the lower ends, to Class G on the higher ends. The movement speed ranges from Superhuman to Subsonic+, and the attack speed ranges from Superhuman to High Hypersonic+ movement, reactions, and combat speed, while characters like King Ghidorah have Massively Hypersonic+ attack Speed with Gravity Beams as he utilizes natural lightning in combat.
There are several useful abilities, including: Precognition, Regeneration, Longevity, Large Size, Immortality, Radiation Manipulation, Energy Projection, Energy Manipulation, Absorption, Duplication, Transformation, Electricity Manipulation, and Limited Plant Manipulation, among others.
Explanations
The scaling of the MonsterVerse is the following:
Godzilla in Dominion <<< Weakened Godzilla in GvK <<< Fresh Godzilla in GvK <<< Godzilla 2014 =< Godzilla in Aftershock =< Godzilla KotM Pre-Nuke = Ghidorah <<< Post-Nuke Godzilla <<< Amped Ghidorah <<<< Burning Godzilla (Mothra absorbed)
Note
- Godzilla was extremely weakened after 2019, with "Dominion" constantly explaining that he is left starving and almost dead. He also rested on a home fairly inferior to his previous temple due to the lack of enough radiation.
Many of the terms and concepts utilized in the profiles are uncommon but integral to the franchise since a lot of the crucial information for comprehending the lore is obscured or buried in antiquated sources, unavailable in English, or otherwise hard to come by. Nevertheless, MonsterVerse has many blogs devoted to explaining its concepts to newcomers so that even a total novice can immediately grasp the essentials.
- Battle level of Godzilla Battle Lineverse: A feat collection thread of the video game Godzilla Battle Line.
- MUTO (an acronym for Massive Unidentified Terrestrial Organism) is a designation used by the agency Monarch to refer to all unidentified monsters in Legendary Pictures' MonsterVerse. While most MUTOs tend to receive their own specific names from Monarch and henceforth become classified as Titans, they are all initially given this designation. In the comic Godzilla: Awakening, both Godzilla and Shinomura are referred to as "MUTO" before being given their own unique names. The two antagonist monsters in the film Godzilla are only referred to as MUTOs, and do not have their own specific names. Generally speaking, MUTOs are ancient superspecies that existed long before mankind ruled the Earth, and are abnormally large compared to most modern-day species. MUTOs such as Godzilla and the eight-legged and winged MUTOs inhabited Earth during a period where the planet's surface radiation levels were considerably higher than they are now. These MUTOs consumed this radiation as their food source, and retreated to the depths of the planet as this radiation declined, preferring instead to consume the planet's natural geothermal radiation. In Kong: Skull Island, Houston Brooks and William Randa propose that an entire ecosystem of MUTOs exists within hollow underground regions inside the Earth, with Skull Island acting as an emergence point for this ecosystem.
- Titans (formerly known as M.U.T.O.s) are ancient species that ruled the Earth before the Permian Extinction event. Every species of Titans has different denominations and a respective threat analysis level.
- Alphas: The MUTOs and Titans operate in a form of hierarchy, with the most powerful among them being referred to as the alpha, regardless of species. The rank of alpha seems to be earned through combat that sometimes ends in death, such as when Godzilla regains his throne after thousands of years by killing Ghidorah. The victor wins the allegiance of almost all MUTOs and Titans, although rival alpha species refuse to submit (such as Godzilla and Ghidorah refusing to submit to each other throughout their history, or Kong refusing to submit to either of them), as do Titans that are closely allied with a rival alpha (such as Mothra). The alpha possesses the power to command all of the allied Titans, who will follow through with these commands, regardless of whether they are for benevolent or malevolent intents.
- Mecha: Mechas are typically depicted as humanoid mobile robots. The term was first used in Japanese (meka) after shortening the English loanword mekanikaru ('mechanical'), but the meaning in Japanese is more inclusive, and "robot" (robotto) or "giant robot" is the narrower term.
- Protector: While Titans can be incredibly destructive and dangerous, Monarch believes some of them to be benevolent and a part of the planet's natural ecosystem. Such Titans are typically classified as "protectors," and include the likes of Godzilla, Mothra, Kong, Behemoth, and Methuselah.
- Destroyer: is a term used to refer to Titans that have a primarily more malevolent and hostile nature are classified as "destroyers," such as King Ghidorah, Rodan, Scylla, Camazotz, MUTO Prime, Mechagodzilla, and the Skull Devil.
- Aliens: This category contains articles about aliens that might be part of a faction or be independent forces.
- Superspecies: is a catch-all term coined by Monarch to describe the Titans and other creatures they were discovering. As time went on, it was refined to refer to plants and animals that have origins in Hollow Earth or were formerly thought to be cryptozoological species prior to confirmed evidence of their existence.
- Florafauna: A specific type of MUTO common on Skull Island is Florafauna, animals which have incorporated plant biology into their physiology and very genetic makeup.
- Megafauna: Animals who susceptibility to conventional weaponry being the only thing keeping it from qualifying as a Titan.

- Just like in the Heisei Era of the Godzilla movie series, Godzilla Battle Line has its own version of "Godzilla vs. Mothra". Where events similar to those in the movie occur, especially the ending where Mothra heads into space to destroy the meteorite that would destroy the Earth. Therefore Mothra's meteorite calculation from the main Heisei timeline can be applied here. Both Godzilla and Kong from the game scale to it.
