  • Platonic forms are the truest version of that thing. True names are described exactly like that. And even if you didnt agree that the true name of everything is 1A(it would take a lot more explaining. I'm just giving examples of concepts.) They are concepts and we have seen Eragon use the true name of time and space. Eragon is stated to have learned the true name of "Everything". He would by virtue of knowing the true name of space and time/dimensions have complete controll of them making him outerversal. You can argue that Gal knew just as much and say hes equal to eragon so he should also be 1A. I'm not saying They are 1A with the True name system. Like how some characters are planetary but outerversal with hax. Like that.

    • VSB def 1. True Platonic Concept: Such concepts, or forms, are completely transcendent of reality in every aspect. These forms are 1-A in nature, as they are beyond all spatial and temporal dimensional constructs and all of reality merely "participate" in these concepts. For example, a circular object is circular because it is "participating" in the form of "circle-ness". In this way, the alteration of these concepts will change every object of the concept across all of reality. These concepts must exist prior to and after the existence of any object of the concept.

"For example, a circular object is circular because it is "participating" in the form of "circle-ness". In this way, the alteration of these concepts will change every object of the concept across all of reality."

Use greg for an example. Greg is participating with the name Greg. But he is not the true form of Greg. Gregs True Name is the name of the concept of Greg. Platonic forms do not have names we can understand as they are beyond even that. When a person knows the True Name of something, be it Greg, time, space, or whatever you have controll of that thing because you manipulate the true form of them. Should put you higher in to 1A but yeah no need to asert that.

Thats the explanation why true names are 1A but as explained before even if there is a disagreement the fact remains controlling the concepts of space and time inherently by vsb definitions makes you 1A.

    • But the thing is that Platonic Conceots are much higher, True Names by naturd cannot be Platonic due to the fact that they are subsurvievnt ti the Concepts of Trueness and Names.

True Names are more akin to Type 3:

Aristotelian Concept: Such concepts are abstract and govern all reality. These concepts shape everything, and changing them would either require the alteration of every object of the concept or, if manipulated directly, change all objects of the concept alongside the concept itself. These concepts, however, exist simultaneously with and are bound by the object of the concept. In this way, an abstract Aristotelian Concept can be destroyed by destroying all objects of the concept, restored by re-making an object of a previously existent concept, or changed by changing all objects of the concept across reality. This, however, does not qualify for this form of conceptual manipulation, and is rather treated as a byproduct of another action akin to a "domino effect". This type of conceptual manipulation can only be obtained if the abstract concept itself is changed directly, and not by indirect methods. For example, destroying humanity and thus "ending the concept of humanity" would not qualify, while directly "ending the concept of humanity" and thus destroying humanity would qualify.

    • Otgers on the Discord agreed that True Names wouldn't classify as Platonic Concepts. True Names engage in various Concepts in of themselves. Such as Truth, Names, Sentience, etc.

      Ergo they are Aristotilian.

    • It is easy to look through edits or just find your messages by happenstance. It isn't really something to worry too much about, it was brought up and looked through but nobody did anything about it, so I doubt you would get banned. You don't seem too much like a sock IMO, and others seem seemed to agree.

  • Regarding the references if you want to see them;

Filled with a feeling that our tangible world is only an atom in a fabric vast and ominous, and that unknown demesnes press on and permeate the sphere of the known at every point, Northam in youth and young manhood drained in turn the founts of formal religion and occult mystery. Nowhere, however, could he find ease and content; and as he grew older the staleness and limitations of life became more and more maddening to him. During the ’nineties he dabbled in Satanism, and at all times he devoured avidly any doctrine or theory which seemed to promise escape from the close vistas of science and the dully unvarying laws of Nature. Books like Ignatius Donnelly’s chimerical account of Atlantis he absorbed with zest, and a dozen obscure precursors of Charles Fort enthralled him with their vagaries. He would travel leagues to follow up a furtive village tale of abnormal wonder, and once went into the desert of Araby to seek a Nameless City of faint report, which no man has ever beheld.
    ~ The Descendant
I have said that there were things in some of Akeley’s letters—especially the second and most voluminous one—which I would not dare to quote or even form into words on paper. This hesitancy applies with still greater force to the things I heard whispered that evening in the darkened room among the lonely haunted hills. Of the extent of the cosmic horrors unfolded by that raucous voice I cannot even hint. He had known hideous things before, but what he had learned since making his pact with the Outside Things was almost too much for sanity to bear. Even now I absolutely refuse to believe what he implied about the constitution of ultimate infinity, the juxtaposition of dimensions, and the frightful position of our known cosmos of space and time in the unending chain of linked cosmos-atoms which makes up the immediate super-cosmos of curves, angles, and material and semi-material electronic organisation.
    ~ The Whisperer in Darkness
Their main immediate abode is a still undiscovered and almost lightless planet at the very edge of our solar system—beyond Neptune, and the ninth in distance from the sun. It is, as we have inferred, the object mystically hinted at as “Yuggoth” in certain ancient and forbidden writings; and it will soon be the scene of a strange focussing of thought upon our world in an effort to facilitate mental rapport. I would not be surprised if astronomers became sufficiently sensitive to these thought-currents to discover Yuggoth when the Outer Ones wish them to do so. But Yuggoth, of course, is only the stepping-stone. The main body of the beings inhabits strangely organised abysses wholly beyond the utmost reach of any human imagination. The space-time globule which we recognise as the totality of all cosmic entity is only an atom in the genuine infinity which is theirsAnd as much of this infinity as any human brain can hold is eventually to be opened up to me, as it has been to not more than fifty other men since the human race has existed.'
    ~ The Whisperer in Darkness

    >Jn fact, what about the story of someone just finsing the First Gate in Kadath and going through it, only to be eliminated. The Gate existing that low shows it is not above infinite Layers.

You mean Ex Oblivione? The Dreamlands have almost no stated position in the cosmology (I've seen everything from Low 1-C to High 1-A Dreamlands) so him finding it from their wouldn't be much of an anti-feat. Don't forget, some dude drugs himself into having a 1-A+ soul so where humans can or can't go is rather nebulous.

  • Hey zou, why do you think nasuverse is 2-B despite the infinite multiverse statement.

      Loading editor
    • Well, in Fate Extella it talks about a system that both the Moon Cell and the Multiverse have where Timelines that drift too far from the Intend Path of Humanity (forgot exact term) are culled.

The same thing happens when a civilzations advances too far that it cannot advance any further, or if the ckurse of humanity was left unable to continue through being damaged beyond repair.

This means that the possibilities can branch out, but can never stray tl far from the central column. Lest they be culled by the Quantum Lock.

This Quantum Lock also creates fixed points that must occur in all timelines, such as Velbur murdestomping everyone. Further restricting the amount of possie timelines.

Alomg with this there are many statements by the narration itself in Extella that it is fine. Such as stating "nigh-infinite streams of data", and in general making multiple statements of it being finite.

This is further in Fate Grand Order with Singularities and Lost Belts, which are both timlines that should of been culled if not for external interference.

Thus Grand Order and Extella ligetamize a 2-B or at most 2-B+ Multiverse.

The statements used for it being infinite are from characters, who may be incorrect. So I put more credence in Extella and Grand Order, both due to being shown in narration (in Extella) and being the newest source of information (Fate Grand Order), and the fact that these both allign further proves my belief.

Further more, the sum of all possibilties branching off from a singular point of Genesis are to be finite, it can never reach infinity due to limitations by physical laws, thus should be considered finite unless expressely stated to be infinite.

As I see reason to disregard "infinite" statements from Extra and CCC, I go with finite. Also, I know people disregard this arguement, but Nasu likes flowery language, thus the usage of infinite by characters in Extra could be that. Though my other proofs are more substaintial than that.

Also Mooncell should be lower, as it only scans the Earth, and thus can only get a certain percentage of the Earth at once, Making the Crabhead Nubelua Feat quite questionable, and should only put the size of each Universe at like, lets be genorous and say 50% of earths surface area, even if we assume a cone to the center of the Moon, the size would be extremely limited.

While it may scake to the Universe in Quantity, it does kot so in Quality. Also Amaterasu was stated to be able to destroy the Trichilliocosm, which was mistranslated to Multiverse. Trichilliocosm is only 3-B.

Summary: While there are staments of Infinite Parralel Worlds, but when it goes into greater, more technical detail or is stated in narration it opts to use words like "nigh-infinite".

Nigh Infite statements are also the most recent, and are continously shown as legitimate through Fate Grand Order.

(Don't have scans eith me right now, all kf my Extella screenshots are on my Switch)
