I've been thinking we may as well do a novel Giorno profile, not because GER is any different but because Giorno himself has a few huge critical points that differ from the canon version. With one big thing that I kinda forgot happened, anyway, one issue I've been having is would GER setting Giorno's death to 0, effectively making him undead but still alive be life/death manipulation? Given he RTZ'd the death, but it was a permanent addition, even making it impossible for Rohan to read Giorno due to the fact he cant read those that are dying and Giorno is technially undead.
Ahh yes,i've been waiting for someone to propose a novel ger profile/key.yeah if that's the case then life/death manipulation seems fine tbh.he already has life manip (possibly death manip as well as ger forces new deaths on diavolo)
Would giorno have immortality type 5 ? He was generally neither alive nor dead when bfr'ed himself to a place between life and death. Either that or this is just another feat of ger's bfr ability
He should have immortality type 1 i suppose, since he's rtz'd his death to 0, i don't think he can die of natural causes like old age unless i'm wrong (i tried finding the novel in an event the other day but to no avail).
Since you said he was killed, type 7(undead immortality) is prob not the case here, but a possibility(not sure if he should have type 7 since those that have type 7 cant really "die" at all since they're already dead)
^what does he mean by "survived in a place between life and death"?
If he meant his existence is unbound by life or death then type 5 immortality should be listed as well
Probably, he's probably a few quadrillion years old so Type 1 is a thing.
No, Undead should be fine, he wilingly died through physical damage, he's still explicitly undead given Rohan read him and his pages all said Death. It's no different than a zombie dying via getting blown to bits.
>"survived in a place between life and death"?
No idea, literally all that's said on the matter is that, he survived the ends of the universe for quadrillion of years via canceling death and survived in a place between life and death. Ergo, he simply died, but GER set him actually dying and passing on to 0, effectovely making him a walking zombie.
Giorno was killed by Dio, Dio took a sword, stabbed Giorno through the chest and the soul fucked Giorno, transmuting Giorno into another Dio. But Giorno explicitly allowed himself to be killed and GER didnt take action to prevent it so eh, maybe, maybe not.
Do we scale him to Novel Narancia? Who's casually 8-A, consistently at that. Novel Narancia doesnt fight Giorno or anyone (other than Kars who tankes the missiles like a lukewarm shower) but Giorno, plus especially King Crimson shouldnt be hundreds of times weaker than Narancia, it makes little sense given that Part 5 is in the middle of happening in the novel and Narancia being that much stronger than every enemy and ally in part 5 is PIs out the ass. Add the fact that characters like Soundman can fight Narancia, he isnt the only character that strong within the confines of the novel and Pucci doesnt seem all that impressed by him.
I'm thinking a 8-C, possibly 8-A for the tier may suffice.
Oh yeahg, Doppio is a character in the novel different from Diavolo, he's part of Bruno's gang, his Stand is being able to turn anything into a phone that can make calls whenever, wherever and however. Example, it can call earth from mars or in a different universe or even time. He gives his allies a phone so they can contact each other whenever.
Wait im a bit confused, canon ge and ger are already 8-C no? So why should GE scale to narancia? Unless you're talking about giorno and not gold experience. Just woke up from a nap,my mind a bit fuzzy still
Novel Narancia is 8-A, Das Boot, dude has casual feats such as blowing up spacestations, satelites, incaping the american military, creating several hundred meter wide explosions (some of which are nearly 1km in width), (which was calc'd at 8-A), etc.
Joji Joestar is 8-A because of Narancia, Joji scales from him.
Well there really isnt any scaling, Sandman, Kars (obviously), Dio (obviously), the cube house, Joji are the only characters that explicitly scale from either direct fighting, tanking or overpowering Das Boot (or in Joji's case, straight up having a copy of the stand).
Scaling from Das Boot for Giorno would just be conjecture given that it'd make no sense for Narancia to be hundreds of times stronger than King Crimson (especially given King Crimson seems to be brutally strong in the novel, fending off like ten stand users at once, which included Bruno's gang and the Morioh gang in one pummel) or GER in context and Das Boot despite it's overwhelming firepower wasnt exactly made note of by Pucci or Soundman, who kinda just watched it carpet bomb a moon and the reaction amounting to can he not do any better than that?
I feel like possibly is fair but it's mostly just guessing.
Like maybe I can find an example of Whitesnake or zombies scaling, if I can find that it'd be safe to scale.
