I'm answering in his stead. He doesn't wish to participate in whatever rating discussion this site may have anymore, even if it's just helping out with justifications. He's sick of it - completely burnt out and exhausted. Also, he's already pretty busy with studying and already has a lot to worry in his life.
I'm afraid that you will have to go on without him.
Personally prefer the one that translate his catchphrase as "I'll crush you with my burning soulfire". Sounds a tad cooler
Also some bit about Blade. It starts out really weak. It can be somewhat discouraging to watch at first but just stick until the because it gets better later on. The reverse applies for Hibiki in case you want to check that season out, just watch it until episode 29
Anyhow. This franchise as a whole is pretty peculiar. Any reality warping done in the series is basically a 1-A thing on a certain level due to in-universe lore mechanic about the Gods and Cosmology, which are in and on themselves are said Gods to begin with.
Though this won't normally corroborate into their AP directly, as the act of establishing their new law upon local reality (the part with 1-A component) and actually attacking with the established said law are 2 different things altogether in most cases
Reinhard seems to be the sole exception to this rule as his act of establishing his rule is on itself a form of attack which is why in his case it directly scales into his AP, as it's already elaborated on his page currently
And Avesta seems to bump that number significantly with the introduction of the Power of Ego into the story. Not only it works identically to Be'riah, it also works in the same way as Reinhard's currently 1-A attack in regard to the Power of Ego itself being a form of offensive actions and how the characters implement them within the story. Crazy stuff
Well at least that's how i conclude it based on what lore had been bombed on me on regular basis
Gaim's pretty good. Many people praise it for being the best season in phase 2. Don't really agree with it but i can see where they're coming from.
Thing i like the most out of Gaim is that they don't have any filler episodes. Literally every episode from 1 all the way to 47 is plot progression. The suit designs are pretty rad too, Gaim's base form is my favorite out of that season
Ends on a kinda bittersweet note though. Who in the fuck told you to watch Gaim right after Blade lmao that's pretty depressing
I'm gonna lose. He outstats me in pretty much every category. I'm just gonna make him raise my wage and there's nothing he can do about it. Tomorrow's a pretty strategic day as i know her mother will give him some spending money so there's less excuse for him to retreat to
A pretty good trade for a few bruises if he kicks me this time around
EP 14 was full blown change to the entire Kamen Rider Gaim lol. Going immediatly dark with the following episodes and more reveals of Yggdrasil plans. Learning that all those Inves were previously living creatures, that Yuuya was the first Inves Kouta kills, amongst other
I should remind you that, being a pretty old show with a fairly limited budget, Kuuga isn't really flashy, as opposed to the seasons you've watched so far (Ex-Aid, Build, Gaim, etc). Kuuga also serves as some sort of a deconstruction of the trope (rather than being a darker take on them, which happened with a few seasons that were supposed to be a "deconstruction"). Its pacing is also sorta slow
Kuuga's message against cruelties of violences, sadism, those who are in power, etc., is a very powerful one. Yusuke Godai remains the golden standard of what a Rider should aspire to be, someone who cries so that no one else will ever have to. Well, at least i believe it to be the case.
It's my go-to season if i want to rewatch a season or if i'm unsure on what to recommend a fellow fine toku connoisseur.
Yea it's darker than the normal season. The original run back in Showa got discontinued due to similar issue too, which led to Japanese moms being outraged. No one fucks around with Japanese Mom. They're an even deadlier group than Golfgom is
Chihiro's Amazon is pretty rad. His design looks leaner than the rest of them it's almost as if he was a Kamen Rider from Kabuto. I like Haruka's Omega myself, though i prefer the silver coloring on his chest rather than the original bright yellow
I very much liked Godai as a protag. I can definitely see what you mean by him being the golden standard of what a Kamen Rider should be. Ichijou was a nice sidekick (forever a sidekick in my eyes) to Godai, and had a good relevance in the story
Oh nice. ICHIJO-SAN is also the golden standard of what a secondary Rider should aspire to be as well. Hes kinda gay in the novel though, like legit romantically attracted to Godai. Kuuga in the novel is pretty damn heavy in term of shounen ai content
