Ehh for the Kushia people not much other than summoning that creature, erecting barriers and healing Riku. I might’ve missed something but I’m pretty sure that’s the only abitlies she’s shown. Well in the final battle Gilbaris summoned 9 Galactron MK1. But before that Ultimate Force Zero said they fought countless Galactron MK1 that Gilbaris sent to a random planet we only see them finishing off the last four.
The backstory is pretty much just like what the Ultraman wiki has for the Kushia people. Not really other than Gilbaris having really high durability tanking mulitple finishers from Orb, Zero and Geed before finally being defeated.
Only one appeared in the movie which was fighting Orb, Zero, and Geed at the same time.
Huh, I thought there'd be more to things. Maybe at least solidify Geed becoming Low 2-C or something. I mean that already happened in the series but eh, kinda underwhelming. Guess it's only a matter of whether the movie will be good or not. I'd like to see it someday without any external influences on my views on the movie.
...So what you're saying is, the MK-2 we saw giving trouble to the trio of Ultras for presumably since their fight began, was killed because Geed got pissed off?
Ehh the Movie wasn’t that good. Action scenes were okay but recently most of the movies are pretty much the same. Main Ultra gets a powerup and overshadows most of the other Ultras than they get shafted in the next Ultra’s Series/Movie.
Yep and Geed did it in Primitive when previously MK2 one shotted Royal Mega Master with a attack that turns him into data.
My hopes are still pretty low for the movie, so I'm not surprised. I know whose mistake it is when I find out that the movie really isn't that good. I mean, Orb and X's movies weren't that bad. They were strange, glorified crossovers most of the time, but ultimately enjoyable and fun to watch. Even if in a silly way. Here's to hoping R/B will be much better.
The digitization should count as BFR so dura wouldn't matter. But still, for Primitive to do the job. Ain't that typical Koichi style coming into the movie?
I just finished editing the profile starts and some of the summary
I added in a Dark Ultras section, added Gomora to the Kaijuu list, added Alien Baltan and Hipporito to the Aliens section and changed it from saying ‘Hensei/Showa ultramen to Hensei/Showa Ultras
The Showa Era? Well, let's just say they're one of a kind. They have super weird moments that sometimes makes viewing the episodes feel weird and awkward at times, yet, at the same time, they have this sort of charm on them that makes every episode one hell of a trip.
So far, here's my ranking for them:
1.Ultraman (The original one)
3.Ultraman 80 (Is subject to change once I've seen Return of Ultraman)
I see you were lucky enough to get your hands on Ace and RoU. I mean, Leo is overall above average since it got its reputation from the regular tone its episodes have. But again, it's above average, so it's not all bad.
I like dark stories too, sometimes. Gen really does deserve better. Would have been great if, for its last 11 episodes, they changed back to their first Opening song. I don't hate the second one, just that its unfittingly cheery for those parts of the series.
That's one thing I'm worried about with the scaling. But let's just assume that Noa at his prime was Low 2-C, as well as Zagi. But after everything, and because they have just been resurrected when they first appeared, they are far weaker than they once were. Let's say that so Etelgar fighting against Noa doesn't mess up the scaling.
Tbh, Juggler is actually more sane than we are led to believe.
Hah, some people just can't move on.
Oh,okay, got it. Thanks for clearing that up.
Not yet. But I believe teasers are out. I mean, I can't really be sure. I mostly keep up with kaijudweeb's updates and dude's put up images of an Ultra's supposed silhouette. Might be fake, but the picture looks like someone captured the image from a magazine so there's that.
Also, if we took a certain member of the Ultra wiki's words for granted, we might get Taguchi as main director again. Because it looks like Orb is going to be heavily involved in this, and that Taguchi has Orb's right of ownership or something like that.
That is merely speculation, though, but if we actually get a continuation of Orb's story that wouldn't be too bad. I mean, what if this is instead what happens after Chapter 10? Instead of settling it all, Biranki decides to muck up Orb and turn him to this?
No, the protagonists haven't been revealed yet.
Also, I stand by my belief that Rosso and Blu has got to be one of the best looking Ultras in like, ever.
Anyway, who do you think should helm the series if it's not Taguchi? I think Abe might be great.
Also is it just me, or does it look like Rosso and Blu needs that device seen in pic no.1 in order to swap with each other's forms and that they can't change to those forms on their own? While that might be worth pondering about, I don't think they need it to change into their other forms though.
Well, I mean, if you watched Zero's movie you can tell how much better Abe really is. Taguchi is amazing, but Yuichi is one of those people that are really up there with the likes of Kazuya Konaka, Hideki Oka and Hirochika Muraishi. But of course, he's not exactly there yet.
There were rumors about Rosso and Blu being able to fuse though.
Yep, best to wait. Better not be Koichi, though. He's great, but only when the plot is heavily action-focused.
I believe this was when it's speculated that Rosso and Blu will have fusions again. I think fusions are still around, but I feel as if they're secondary to the main power sets now.
On a side note, Rosso and Blu looks like Megamen Zero and X. I also notice how they actually resemble Gaia and Agul. Not too much but with the overall feel of their designs.
I also heard that form changes are going to be simplified again. Meaning we have more screentime instead of having to waste 8-13 seconds every episode. I never hated the individual rises though. But I am hoping they make special rise scenes when the characters transform into their Ultra forms where instead of every time they change forms, it's only when they rise into the specific ones.
