So that calced figure can't be used to find out the bullet's speed, and therefore its kinetic energy.
Again, Sam can't receive damage right now, because he is on a mountain with snow, and if he fall like 10 meters he will survive, because of the snow. I will do that when I finish this mission. Also, he can carry 190kg.
Guns can easily hurt 9-B characters, because a lot of energy is concentrated in a smal place, you need 9-A durability to be completely immune to them, but fiction tend to ignore this too.
If you mean the scene where Amelie push Sam to the beach, I don't think we can use to downplay his durability, he was launched extremely fast and by someone whose strength we don't know.
Also, you said earlier that Sam surviving a plane crashing onto him was gameplay mechanics, but isn't dying by falls the same thing? I know the later seems more consistent, but if you played good enough, you would never die in that way.
And from what I've seen the plane crash only happens when you walk on that place, so it's something that is going to happen 100%.
He can also take attacks from several large Beached Things and survive.
I really doubt a bullet could damage a 9-B character, small projectiles need less energy to damage a target because of the pressure and area, fine, but someone a Tier above than the projectile would be immune to it. Well I think you don't remember the scene very well, since Amalie just pushed him to fall off the cliff, she didn't push him towards the ground at full speed. Gravity did everything there. And this was a cutscene.
Dying by falls isn't game mechanics, that's like saying Sam can't be killed if someone push him off a mountain or a cliff, this goes against the plot.
The plane crash only falls there if you walk there, yes, but following the path the game gives you, the plane crash like 2 meters from Sam and not directly on him.
