Unfortunately, our buddy Merlight was hacked and all of the comments on the Sonic Unleashed 5-B calc was deleted. I was wondering if, somehow, we could salvage what you said and repaste it into a blog on my profile. I figured it would be frustrating to have to redo your calc evaluation, but I was hoping to get this over with at this point. I'll copy-paste the calc below, and thank you for the time.
A single Chaos Emerald releases energy and forcibly moves back a 7th of the separated "crust" of the Earth-like planet Sonic lives on back into place when its separated from the core and gravity apparently isn't a thing that's gonna reconnect them back on its own.
57:26 - 57:46
20 seconds is the time it takes to move back each section to the core of the planet.
Here is a picture of the planet's and the relative continents moved from the core of the planet.
Density of granite = 2.6 - 2.8 g/cc, or 2600 kg/m^3
Total mass of continents = 937203369439533115039.0351578793155809320047*2600 = 2436728760542786099101491.41048622051042321222 kg
Without bothering to scale each of the actual masses, which would be hella messy pixel scaling that, I can neatly just divide by 7 for the minimum estimated mass of the largest continent's mass that was chucked back into place.
Mass of largest continent = 2436728760542786099101491.41048622051042321222 / 7 = 348104108648969442728784.48721231721577474460286 kg
Distance all continents were moved back to core (Purple Line) = 36.24914 pixels = (6371000 / 181.7230411616194809) * 36.24914 = 1270852.994 meters
Since this distance was covered in at most 20 seconds that gives us:
1270852.994 meters / 20 seconds = 63542.6497 m/s
63542.6497 m/s will be the value for the velocity of each of the continents moving back into place.
Kinetic energy = .5*m*v^2
Approximate kinetic energy for moving back the largest continent = .5*348104108648969442728784.48721231721577474460286*(63542.6497^2) = 7.0276447E+32 joules
5-B rating for the casual attack potency of 1 Chaos Emerald moving a continent with its energy.
Unfortunately I've been sick since last week and so I spent very little time on the computer (usually just to do college work) and then I was unable to do anything about the calculations.
If I'm still being needed by you for this process, I'll do something about it as soon as I'm feeling better.
I've been asked to make a discussion thread on some specific calculations for Bleach since they may be possible upgrades, however i've some issues with them and would appreciate it if you could give your input whenever you have free time.
Also, I was wondering if this meant that these flames came from the Dark Area as they are stated to directly come from the abyss which makes me think this is something different compared to Impmon and Candmon's normal flames.
Like what existed in Digimon Heroes, as Digimon Crusader had a lot of information from every corner of the franchise, many product terms that were never translated before were eventually translated into Digimon Heroes. For example in the "Yggdrasil Event" to be able to win Yggdrasil it was necessary to collect VictoryGreymon and Z'dGarurumon, exactly called "Arbitrators" as well as in Digimon Next, even if the Digimon Next has never been translated before.
What I liked more in this is the "7D6" that means "2006" in Hexadecimal and then it's said that that avatar was created in the Real World year of 2006. It's funny because is the Digimon Savers year, with means that before that... there isn't the 7D6 avatar 0v0
I wonder if Overlord Gaia was a Yggdrasil avatar in the past.
Dragonmasterxyz wrote: That thing can join your party? Also what is Overlord Gaia?
With hacks everything is possible 0v0
Overlord Gaia refers to one of Host Computer's Gaia known forms, the ultimate villain of Digimon World 2. It is explained that the Digital World is a type of "Matrix" that exists inside Gaia, being that all the humans there are only beings of thought that are living in a type of dream. Gaia exists to coordinate evolution research on the Digimon, and then decided to start a research involving wars by inserting Humans into the equation by putting human factions at war and influencing the Digimon in that. The final plan involved Gaia merging with the most powerful of all humans, becoming a supreme divine being who would rule over both worlds. When defeated Overlord Gaia destroys the Digital World and then a System Backup starts where everything restarts and then Gaia returns to normal without having more the malignant personality that began due to a problem.
Ah. Digimon has so many beings that I never knew existed. But he does seem like something related to Ygg. However, a better theory would be that he is the Host Computer of another Network from Ygg and Homeros or whatever his name was.
I also think it's the case, Digimon at the beginning used many characters being possible "Hosts Computers" such as Card Battle's "Rosemon", GAIA World 2 and theoretically ENIAC and ABC could also fit in. In the end either they were forgotten, or simply became incompatible with the lore of Digimon.
I am seeing information from World 2 and I see that there are cracks in the World 1 maps in it that are not in the game. Also have a map in this game that I have never seen, I will verify that World 3 also has something of the type.
It's funny how there's some pieces of Digmon lore that is used in the DRB profiles, and come from very unique pieces of story that's currently forgotten. Like this Babamon info:
According to rumor, it is whispered that a Rosemon was placed under a spell and turned into this form.
Although Babamon's initial appearance was in Hyper Colosseum and in future was used in "Digital Monster: Digita Card Battle" and in this game, Babamon is a main character and for what it seems, it really is a Rosemon that has been infected by a virus. Well, I'm not sure, but that's what I imagine as I look at the game's cutescenes (I'm currently looking for lost information on Digimon games while unzipping the roms). It's a shame that this game was never translated, and this important part of Digimon lore was forgotten.
It seems to be related to the Digimon World Storyline. This story began in Digimon World, then Digimon Digital Card Battle, Digimon Digital Card Arena and then Digimon World Net 0rder. Strangely when Digital Card Arena was translated, it was renamed Digital Card Battle, which is the name of a game in this Storyline that was not translated.
Working on it. And I just realized that with Section 2 we are gonna have to create a rule that or something that keeps us from using "the power of Darkness" = Existence Erasure all the time. I say this because, this can get pretty crazy with Sunburst and Moonlight skills.
Seeing the mentions about the Kernel, it makes a lot of sense for Yggdrasil to rest on Mugen Moutain. We know that Mugen Moutain is located in the center of File Island, and it is located in the center of the Digital World. We know that the Kernel is located in relation to the center of the digital world, with Yggdrasil residing in the Kernel and at the same time in Mugen Moutain, which fits the Kernel descriptions ... I wonder if Mugen Moutain is a gateway to the Kernel 0v0
Well, we know that the interior of Mugen Moutain is actually another dimension (It's like that since Digimon World). Well, considering the higher-dimensional mechanics in Mugen Moutain and we know that the Kernel is indeed a higher world ... I speculate that the Kernel would be at the top of all of this (since Yggdrasil would reside at the top of Mugen Moutain).
I'll still do a more accurate translation, but I want to give you an idea. I've been looking at Nakashima's comments on the Xros Wars manga.
Nakashima comments that he was a complete newbie about Digimon, so he rushed to study everything about the franchise by watching anime, manga, etc. He said he enjoyed feeling the warmth of the fans' passion for the franchise.
He also says he understands that fans of the franchise are angry about the changes in the scenario that manga and anime have made regarding the franchise's past. But he defends himself by saying that the changes would be good to expand the franchise as much as possible. He ends by saying that he would like fans to accept the anime and manga as a part of Digimon.
In the end he comments that he wrote some scenes while listening to songs like Brave Heart and Butterfly. He hopes fans read the manga while listening to the songs.
Yes. As Digimon's world hierarchy has a basis in Emanationism, I've decided to do a little research on the subject, and it's interesting to see how some of the concepts may actually have been used in Digimon to explain how "Data" might equal everything. Like this:
According to Emanationism, Creation occurs by a process of emanation - "out-flowing". The entire cosmos, and even all the Gods and Godheads beyond the Cosmos, has come about through emanation. Just as the ocean forms its surface into waves, so the Absolute forms upon and as Itself successive manifestations, successive entities. And these in turn create - or rather, emanate - further entities, and so on, with all these entities combining and interacting in the extraordinary network of existence. Each of the levels of reality in the Emanationist Cosmology could be termed a "World". Here, "World" is a general term meaning any self-contained realm or universe of existence. One could equally well say "Universe", "Cosmos", "Sphere", "Realm", "Plane", "horizon", "reality", "state of existence", "state of consciousness", etc. The term "World" has been chosen simply because it is a useful general term. One could think of the relationship between each of these levels as being like "body and soul", "spirit and matter", or "Creator and creature", in that each higher level is the Soul, Spirit, and Creator of the level immediately below it; and the Body, Matter, and Creature (created being) of the level immediately above it.
A very good spolier about the Chronicle X mamga. Jesmon X uses the power of the Kyuukyoku Senjin Seibaken to destroy the fighting spirit of ALL THE DIGIMON IN THE ODL DIGITAL WORLD. He did it to end the anarchy in the world.
Chronicle X is not having a very good reputation. Like the original manga from the Digimon Chronicle, it's only 4 pages without much information about Storyline that isn't what we already know, and that does not have the end of the story either.
In addition, unlike the original Digimon Chronicle that there were many texts telling additional information that were not in the manga, the Chronicle X version came with a very small amount of information, things that were already in the original version and that for some reason are very smaller than before.
For example: In the first version of the Digimon Chronicle there is half a full page full of images and information to explain what the X-Antibody Indicator is, while the Chronicle X version contains only a short text with only two / three lines does not even really explain what the XAI is, and apparently it's full of mistakes.
The weekend coming up, I should be able to continue writing the blog. I finished reading the four pages of the Chronicle X, there are not many interesting things besides being able to see the design of the various X-Antibody (Including the Royal Knights) and also finally see some old Digimon scenarios as the scenario the Royal Base of X -Evolution.
