I agree about that, although Lightning and Shantotto each made a crossover appearance in Final Fantasy XIV, we cannot remotely automatically assume equal power level for them. The FFXIV characters are usually shown at far lower levels of power than Lightning is in her home game. Their non-canon appearances were all scaled to their environment for the sake of plot convenience, so they wouldn't overwhelm it/the game wouldn't become unbalanced. You will have to use Shantotto's in-continuity FFXI feats to scale her.
Exactly, and do we even know if the Shantotto in XIV is the same one in XI? I know their version of Lightning is the same one because she mentions being sent there by some deity (Which most fans assume is Bhunivelze for obvious reasons).
The point is that Lightning does not in any way reference being sent there in FFXIII-3, and does not remotely display her FFXIII-2 power level. We cannot see it as canon to the FFXIII game series any more than Dissidia, which also mixed characrers of wildly different power levels as equal for the sake of story convenience.
Well, I'm not saying Lightning is as strong as she is in XIII-2/Lightning Returns as she is in XIV, just that her being sent there is an official thing, though I can see your confusion. Maybe it's because being sent there removed all her power as the Knight of Etro (Note that I'm not trying to say XIV characters are as powerful as the XIII characters, I'm just trying to come up with an explaination).
Well, technically speaking, Dissidia is actually canon to the individual Final Fantasy games, as it's explained (I believe in 012 and the ending of the first game) that the characters are taken from their world and placed into "World B" (Where Dissidia takes place), and go back when Chaos is defeated. Not sure about their appearances in XIV though.
But this is off-topic and rather irrelevant, my main question was why most of the cast is Galaxy Level.
Well, regardless, given that FF characters are always rescaled in power to the new setting when they are moved from their own,I think that Shantotto should strictly be scaled from her feats in her own game FFXI, not from Dissidia or FFXIV.
I looked through the respect thread, and the only reason they rate Shantotto as she is is because of XIV, to my knowledge they don't have feats for her (Even admitting the powerscaling for her comes from her appearance in XIV).
Also, the reason the mothercrystals are Galaxy Level is because they're fragments of the multiversal "Original Crystal".
Well, here we are again, several months later, and another question has arisen.
As I stated before, the cast is Galaxy Level due to the Adventurer absorbing the mothercrystals, which are fragments of the Multi-Universal Great Crystal. However, even dividing 2-C by one quintillion would still equal 2-C, so logically the entire cast should be that level when it's not remotely apparent. Not to mention the best feat was either only Large Planet Level or Large Star Level+.
It depends on whether the Great Crystal embodied or equalled several universes throughout all of time (entire 4-Dimensional spacetime continuums) or whether they simply embodied, contained, etc, the 3-dimensional energies in fixed points in time. The former is 2-C, and the latter is High 3-A.
Well, as far as I understand, if he merged together entire timelines, then that would be 2-C, whereas I am uncertain othervise. As usual, it might be best to invite DarkLK to the discussion, so that he can explain the matter.
Pardon me for disturbing, but I have noticed that you have had a tendency to repeatedly include crude language in the profiles that you have written. I would appreciate if you could please refrain from doing so in the future. Thank you.
Greetings, can you take a look at this page? I noticed the Key was messed up so this page must've been through hell the admin just did a quick cleanup of it but It doesn't include anything on Shin or Oni forms
You know they're characters who are Heroes and also Evil. Like Caim from Drakengard who is heroically fighting to save his sister and defend his country from an evil empire, but he's only doing so because he's a bloodthirsty psychopath who loves killing as many people as he can on the battlefield.
Also, if you don't mind, I would prefer to remove other biological statistics from the Gardevoir page. I understand that you wish to outline those feature with Gardevoir being a species as well, but none of the other species have information of that manner (humans, kryptonians, other pokemon, etc.). It seems quite redundant, to be honest, and also makes the page more cluttered.
I would agree if it was a specific Gardevoir or something like Ash's Pikachu then yeah it would be redundant. I think it would be better to make the Pokemon pages into a characters/species profile hybrid.
I see. In that case, I do not fault you for adding the stats, since I have my own specific OCD as well, but I appreciate you checking your OCD in order to not swamp the pokemon character profiles with additional (and likely unnecessary) information.
