Basically the argument here is whether or not making a realm with 1 AU radius w/ a star and planet would be High 4-C or just Star + Planet (Which I'm pretty sure would just be a marginally higher star level).
I'm wondering why creating a 1 AU radius with nothing inside of it would be ranked as the same tier as creating a 1 AU radius filled completely with, say, neutronium. Shouldn't it be the amount of mass that counts, rather than the distance, since the latter is just spatial manipulation?
I am uncertain if you have left this wiki completely, or are still sticking around, but if you read this, I would appreciate your help with straightening out the following thread. I and several other staff members are getting confused:
Since Antvasima some time ago asked me to write a page about how to do weather manipulation calcs I am basically 3 pages into writing the thread to debate the standards that then get documentated on the page.
I think I will refrain form debating this until that is done, since then there is a fundament to be debated upon.
(Why is he even using distance to horizon, though. There is no horizon visible...)
Since the issue of creating hurricanes, and other weather manipulation effects, tends to pop up a lot, I wonder if you would be willing to create a page explaining how to calculate such phenomena, along with some examples of the energy required for different sizes?
You can ask for assistance from the rest of the calc group if you wish.
