Summary
Merus is an Angel dispatched by the Grand Priest to learn about mortals. During his time in Universe 7, he joined the Galactic Patrol and became an adept agent. After learning about the threat that Moro presented, he decided to train Goku to unlock Ultra Instinct again. During the battle against Moro, Merus resorted to his angel powers to give Goku a chance to win, and thus he was erased since that resulted in a violation of the Angel Law. However, the Grand Priest decided to give him a new life at Shin's behest and resurrected him as a mortal. Now without angelic powers and immortality, Merus continued his role as Galactic Patrolman for as long as he lived.
