- Superhuman Physical Characteristics
- Immortality (Types 1, 3, 4 & 8 - After Mephisto was destroyed, Dr. Strange deduced that so long as evil remains in the heart of men, it will not be overlong before he is reborn, Mephisto explained something similar by attributing the evil in the world as the reason why he endured being destroyed[2]; Mephisto later came back saying that his form merely "dissipated for a time, a mere inconvenience", the lapse of his resurrection being from Fantastic Four #277 to Mephisto Vs #1, but his essence was scattered wide into 6 parts he needed to search and was at one sixth of his full potency[2])
- Resurrection
- Regeneration (Possibly High-Mid - While attacked off-panel, Wasp claimed that his foe's claws were slashing him to ribbons, to which someone followed by saying that his wounds healed instantly, although Janet may have exaggerated the vicious situation a bit[2])
- Body Control (Can modify his body in different ways, like growing tentacles to attack others[3])
- Abstract Existence (Type 2 - The Beyonder explained that Mephisto and similar beings to not be real in the sense that himself and a normal person are, that they're conceptual beings, insubstantial as an idea, that actual beings have trouble conceiving them much less understanding them and what's seen of them are their essences expressed in representational forms normal people can relate to)
- Limited Invulnerability (Is invulnerable against physical attacks[4])
- Space-Time Manipulation (Can effortlessly manipulate tiny bits of delicate balances of space and time[5]), (Can escape the judgment that awaits him at the end of time, Mephisto manipulated the linear timeline and created a barricade on the line, affecting various points of the timeline, and then creating thousands of alternative timelines and manipulating them all with fear and hatred[6])

Attack Potency: Varies. At least Galaxy level (Much more powerful[8] than the Silver Surfer[9]), up to High Hyperverse level (His clash with Satannish threatened to destroy the main universe, Mephisto's realm, and the dimension they were fighting in[10]). High Hyperverse level in Hell (Hell Lords share[11] a level of existence[12] with their realms,[13] with netherworlds being pan-dimensional realities[14] infinitely transcendent of the universe,[15] with his Hell-Realm being his spirit, and something he threatened to destroy while fighting an amped Adam Warlock.[16] Stalemated Galactus after he had just eaten a planet,[17] and is stated to be equal to Odin.[18][19] Is stronger than his armies,[20] with whom, when in war with Hela, could cause Omniversal Armageddon warring against other Hell lords beyond the scale of Ragnarok,[19] which Odin couldn’t fully challenge.[21] Considered by guides to be one of the most powerful Hell-Lords[22][23]) | Outerverse level (Arranged for the Multiversal Master of Evil to destabilize 615[24][25] alternate Earths, during which he siphoned the essence from each of them and eventually became strong enough to singlehandedly demolish a whole army of his variants in moments and absorb all of said Mephistos,[26] then fought on par with a Celestial-amplified Deathlok, even tanking a blast from him,[27] with said Deathlok being stronger than[25] Galactus and capable of briefly withstanding and restraining a small area of the First Firmament's Omniversal Flood, of which mere droplets could rewrite the multiverse[25])
Speed: Massively FTL+ (Scaling from the Silver Surfer), up to Infinite speed. Infinite speed in Hell (Fought and matched Galactus, and comparable to Seth and Odin) | Infinite (Should be drastically above his peak standard self, having outfought his countless variants within the God Quarry in a matter of seconds,[26] and clashed with a Deathlok amplified by[27] a Celestial)
Lifting Strength: Stellar, up to Infinite (Comparable to other Hell lords), Immeasurable in Hell (Hell-Lord are Higher Dimensional beings within their realms and Hell Lords share[28] a level of existence[29] with their realms,[30] with netherworlds being pan-dimensional realities[31] infinitely transcendent[32] of the universe) | Immeasurable (Upscales from his peak self[26])
Striking Strength: Varies. At least Galaxy level, up to High Hyperverse level. High Hyperverse level in Hell | Outerverse level (Siphoned the essence from multiple universes,[26] these being 615[24][25] alternate Earths)
Durability: Varies. At least Galaxy level, up to High Hyperverse level (Took attacks from those comparable to him, such as Satannish). High Hyperverse level in Hell. Regeneration makes him very hard to kill | Outerverse level (Took fatal hits from a Celestial-amplified Deathlok[27] who could briefly withstand and restrain a small area of the First Firmament's Omniversal flood, of which mere droplets could rewrite the multiverse[25])
Stamina: Superhuman (Comparable to Galactus), likely Infinite in Hell (Daimon Hellstrom, who has access to a much smaller portion of Hell, stated that in his own realm, he could literally fight forever, before confirming that he'd be just fine after years of fighting[33]) | Infinite
Range: High Hyperversal | Outerverse level
Standard Equipment: Unknown
Intelligence: Gifted (Highly skilled liar and strategist. Has a vast knowledge of arcane and occult subjects)
Weaknesses: Cannot subject the wills of others unless his victim submits. Is not particularly powerful when outside of Hell, and gets weaker the longer he's out of it.
