Summary

Mars is a citizen from the Diamond Kingdom, who was chosen to be apart of an experiment to enhance the magic power of mages. He was merged wth Fana's fire affinity and became enhanced with a number of mage stones. He was brainwashed and fought against Asta and his friends before coming to his senses later on in the series. He now rules over the Diamond Kingdom by controlling the corrupt king with a spell given to him by the Witch Queen

  • Superhuman Physical Characteristics (All mages are able to take attacks that can kill an average human)
  • Extrasensory Perception (All mages can sense mana)
  • Cyborgization (He is implanted with mage stones to enhance his magical capabilities[1])
  • Crystal Manipulation (Capable of manipulating crystals for defense and attack. He can grow crystals on ground where a target stands to attack them and so on[2])
  • Weapon Creation (Capable of creating crystal-based blade weapons such as a massive sword and several small harpe-shaped blades[3][4])
  • Expert Swordsmanship (As Fanzel Kruger's best student, Mars became a very capable magic swordsman. Even Asta considers his skills worth utilizing[5][6])
  • Platform Creation (Capable of creating crystal-based platforms[7])
  • Stealth Mastery ([Capable of performing sneak attacks that not even Mimosa could detect. Mimosa is known for her magic sensing. Mars could also evade the senses of Yuno with a sneak attack, who has exceptional magic sensing capabilities as a wind mage. The only character capable of sensing sneak attacks from Mars is Luck. Luck has one of the best magic sensing in the series, but even he could only sense an incoming attack at the last moment.[8][9])
  • Clone Creation (Capable of creating several crystal-based clones to fight for him[10])
  • Statistics Amplification (Capable of bolstering his durability and strength with crystal magic. Reinforcement magic can be used to increase his physical capabilities[11] [12])

  • Healing (With Phoenix Robe, Mars is able to recover and heal his wounds[15])

Stronger than Yuno before he obtained spirit magic), higher with Heavy Armor Titan | Large Mountain level (Mars' magic is strong enough to take attacks from Ladros. His magic can also take attacks from Fana. Should be comparable to Base Asta in the witches forest Arc), higher with Heavy Armor Titan.

Speed: Relativistic (Can keep up with Yuno and his comrades), higher with Harpe (These attacks are faster than Asta can swing his Demon Slayer Sword) | FTL (Can keep up with Asta and he is fast enough to block attacks from Fana)

Lifting Strength: Class 10 (Rated as a 4/5 in physical strength, making him comparable to Yuno)

Striking Strength: Unknown (No striking strength feats)

Durability: City level (Tanked two simultaneous attacks from a full-powered Yuno), higher with Namean Armor (Tanked a slashing wind magic attack from Yuno), even higher with Heavy Armor Titan (Stronger than before) | Large Mountain level (Stronger than before, should be comparable to Base Asta. Took an attack from Fana head on without magic and survived), higher with Namean Armor, even higher with Heavy Armor Titan

Stamina: Superhuman (Mars is a strong and resilient mage with higher magic power than most in the Diamond Kingdom. He has high endurance, capable of withstanding multiple beatdowns and brushing off injuries like burns. He can even keep fighting while on fire, which requires immense pain tolerance as he simultaneously heals himself)

Intelligence: Gifted (Mars in considered to be the most gifted of Fanzell Kruger's students, even compared to the likes of Asta)

Magic

Fire Magic: Mars is able to manipulate and generate fire.

  • Healing Magic: Mars uses fire-based magic for recovery purposes
    • Phoenix Feathers Robe: Mars can use this technique to envelop a target's body in flames while healing them and rejuvenating their stamina. The spell could be cast onto another person or shared by two people.

Crystal Magic: Mars is able to manipulate and generate crystals.

  • Crystal Creation Magic: Harpe 「鉱石創成魔法『ハルパー』 Kōseki Sōsei Mahō "Harupā"」: Upon activating the spell, multiple blades in a shape of a harpe would manifest around Mars. Additionally, Mars is able to freely manipulate it without the need of any direct contact with them. Mars can then use those harpe-shaped blades as projectile weapons and launch them toward his target. Once being launched, the blades would move in rotative motion with the sharp edge at the outer side. Through creating multiple blades, Mars can launch a barrage of attacks that are strong enough to send their target flying in the opposite direction.
