Summary

Mao Mao (full name Mao Mao Mao) is the primary protagonist and titular character of the Cartoon Network series, Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart. Originally, he and his friend, Badgerclops were but a band of rogue heroes trying to defeat the villainous Sky Pirates led by Orangusnake. Until Mao Mao and Badgerclops crashed into the Ruby Pure Heart: a barrier shielding Pure Heart Valley from the forces of evil. Feeling guilty for his actions, Mao Mao stayed in the village to protect its citizens from dangerous monsters and invaders. Later finding out the Ruby Pure Heart is a mystical artifact wanted by those seeking glory and recruiting a young girl wishing to be a hero like him named Adorabat. Now defender of the valley, he fights to uphold justice and one day become a legend known and beloved by all.

He blew up the Ice Dragon with a sneeze.[7] Just him falling onto a monster generated an explosion.[8] His anger alone caused him to explode into a mushroom cloud[9]), Regeneration (Low-High; Can quickly recover chipped ears.[10][11] Regenerated from his entire body exploding into a mushroom cloud[9]), Supernatural Willpower (Forced his body to move even with all his bones broken at once[12]), Immortality (Types 2 and 3; Survived without working bones,[12] has shaken off multiple normally fatal wounds), Light Manipulation with Geraldine, Shockwave Manipulation (Can send out waves of light[13] to atomize foes. Same as before, Transformation (After accepting his love of cobbler, Mao Mao transformed[11] into the embodiment of his golden truth, making him much stronger and faster than before to the point he was easily overwhelming the Hog Monster which troubled him earlier), Aura (Is surrounded by a golden glow), Energy Projection (Fired out a giant beam of energy)

Speed: Subsonic (Caught up to Ol’ Blue’s car,[20] blitzed past Badgerclops and Adorabat[11]) with Massively Hypersonic reaction and combat speed (Able to dodge breath blasts from the Ice Dragon, who can fire at these speeds[7]), likely Speed of Light attack speed with Lunar Lash. Subsonic flight speed with the Aerocycle (Can fly past low-end clouds within seconds), far higher with Quantum Boosters (Can triple the Aerocycle’s speed[3]) | Subsonic (Leapt around at high speeds) with at least Massively Hypersonic reaction and combat speed (Blitzed the Hog Monster which could catch him in base[11]), likely Speed of Light attack speed with Energy Punch

Intelligence: Above Average (Has demonstrated immense skill within combat. Shown to be a masterful manipulator when he created an elaborate trap to expose Rufus and Reggie for being scam artists utilizing his disguises and perfect mimicry of Adorabat’s voice and mannerisms.[21] He also used emotional manipulation to make Orangusnake a better foe and then to deescalate things once he couldn’t win with strength alone, distracting Orangusnake long enough for Badgerclops and Adorabat to weaken the foundation of his giant robot body[17])

Weaknesses: Quite narcissistic and full of himself. His efforts to become a legendary hero have made him restrict himself in order to be seen as better than he already is and overcomplicate things in many ways. Afraid of puppets.[27] | The Golden Truth Form doesn’t seem to last long, being drained completely by the Energy Punch and was only usable due to years of pent-up desire.[11]
