In this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig.
~ The Man with No Name

Summary

The Man with No Name is the protagonist of most of the Dollars' series, at times a co-protagonist with a few others. A lonely, enigmatic man, the Man with No Name is a bounty hunter that is always seeking, if not a target, then an opportunity to make money. While he has very few scruples and doesn't bat an eye to murder, killing, lying, scamming, and ruthlessness to achieve his goals, he is not as much evil as he is amoral - he does not inflict harm on the innocent nor does he enjoy human suffering, and often shows sympathy to others. His schemes and attempts to get money are often directed at criminals, free opportunities, or petty crime, never stooping so low as to assault or rob the innocent, for example.

Range: Standard Melee Range, Hundreds of Meters with guns

Standard Equipment: The Man with No Name carries with himself a pair of revolvers (during the war he carried a Colt 1851 Navy Pistol and later a Colt Single Action Army both having a rattlesnake grips) and a knife at all times, and often has a rifle (often a Winchester rifle or a Spencer M1860 rifle) close by. He always keeps his guns in perfect condition[41], and he has several[42] derringers[43] hidden within his clothing. He carries with himself a healthy stock of ammunition, and also usually has access to a variety of survival supplies, such as dried food and water.

Optional Equipment: At times, the Man with No Name has carried dynamite for specific purposes, and given preparation time, he can quickly cobble up a surprising amount of things with whatever resources he can put his hands on, such as improvising armor constructed from the metal of a mining cart, tough enough to block a fusillade of bullets from rifles and revolvers with no damage[44].

Intelligence: Gifted (Despite appearances, the Man with No Name is famously cunning and capable; He is an exceptional gunslinger, fighter and tracker[45], he is capable of formulating complex plans[46] and he always had ease at learning new skills[27]; He can keep track of the bounty of every single person he hunts and add up their values similarly to a cash register[47], cheat at cards extremely quickly and with a single hand, predict someone's behaviour with accuracy for several days and plan strategies around that[5], speak apache[18] and Spanish[48], prepare for and rationalize how the presentation order of a show house should be[32], among several other skills, with him having minute amounts of knowledge in topics such as mining, first aid, crime, farmwork and improvisation; His most notable traits, across all books, is how easily and seemingly effortlessly manipulates everyone in the plot, at least on the long term, to things end up on a positive outcome for himself, in the process having to predict the behaviour and interactions of several different people over extended periods of time)

Weaknesses: Standard human weaknesses
