Feats/Statements:

A black luxury car pulled up smoothly and silently, so it may have been a hybrid which had switched over to electric mode. It was a stark contrast to Kaname’s coupe. It was long. Just long. It looked something like a dachshund which had taken a wrong turn in the evolutionary tree.

Even Kaname looked dubious.

“You drive around in a limousine? In a city of firefights and car chases?”

“Oh, it’s actually quite useful. The larger size means more room for thick bulletproofing and a bigger engine.” Lilikiska gave a bewitching smile. “Speed and handling aren’t everything in a car chase. Powering through everything in your path is also quite exhilarating. Did you never feel envious when watching someone driving a semi or a tanker truck through the city in an action movie?”

[...]

They climbed into the limousine. The nicely air conditioned space was long and narrow by necessity, but it may have had as much space as a single room in a city hotel. Sofas lined the perimeter with a glass table in the center. There were even a television and a mini fridge.

And around 10 men and women were already gathered inside. They were presumably the members of Ag Wolves.

This limousine apparently functioned as both a killer truck and a mobile base for the team.

[...]

But something seemed off to her, so she operated the glass table with her eyes. She opened several windows and analyzed the video of the autumn leaf print motorcycle.

The footage was grainy, but the person at the handlebars was clearly too tall. And the girl usually wore a swimsuit, but this person was in a China dress.

[...]

In that instant, Lilikiska ran a risk assessment. The status of the intersection was displayed on the glass table and it had highlighted Kaname’s gun and the gas cylinder rolling to the edge of the road.

[...]

Her attention was initially drawn to the mint green coupe diving straight off the rooftop, but then…

“The red motorcycle isn’t there? Sophia! Can you check the footage!?”

“Aye, Lady Kiska.”

The elf in the driver’s seat swiftly executed the command. A window opened to fill the 10cm glass of the window.

While the footage advanced frame by frame, the red motorcycle girl escaped into the building with the mint green coupe acting as a distraction. That building was 20-stories tall, but she could reach the ground in no time if she drove the motorcycle down the emergency stairs and took a shortcut through the atrium.

~ Magisterus Bad Trip Volume 1 - Lilikiska's vehicle

Several windows opened on the glass table. It showed the record of the purchase made with the 1.7 billion snow provided by each member. That meant everyone here had the same skill as Kaname and had paid the same amount for the same goal.

~ Magisterus Bad Trip Volume 1 - As a member of Ag Wolves Lilikiska is a Dealer capable of earning 1.7 billion Snow

“Our trump card should be arriving on the bridge soon. Let’s get started. I will go grab my weapon. I would like something with a few different Skills, Sophia! Bring me my jewelry box. I want to make some adjustments with rings and earrings.”

[...]

Lilikiska concluded it was his way of concentrating before a job. She flicked the small earring she wore to check on the hand-steadying Skill she needed for long-range sniping.

[...]

Lilikiska gave that answer while swapping out her earrings and a few other accessories. She was removing her long-range sniping Skills and replacing them with close-range combat ones.

[...]

Lilikiska wore a few accessories on her ears and around her neck and she was currently applying nail polish inside the luxury vehicle. It was all to adjust her Skills. And it worked to increase her long-range combat ability which she already excelled at. If the enemy got close, she would hit them with her heavyweight bulletproof vehicle. If they moved away, she would snipe them. She had no blind spot.

[...]

“Argh, these corrective Skills are in the way!! I can’t even rely on this concentration reinforcement!!”

She eliminated her unnecessary Skills.

There were times when a skilled sniper would prioritize her own senses.

~ Magisterus Bad Trip Volume 1 - Lilikiska has jewelry with various kinds of Skills for her sniping

In the real world, the girl wore pastel-colored fleece around the clock and felt no inclination to leave her room, but that did not mean she was ignorant of the outside world. In fact, she had devoured every form of entertainment out there. Some said there were things money could not buy, but she had bought up love first and foremost. Art, music, antiques, collecting, cooking, travel, socialization, philanthropy, sports, cameras, trains, history, and everything else. She had even tried fighting, but none of it had held her interest.

In the end, she only found the upper limits of the world.

She had seen all the world had to offer.

So she had no future. She had vast wealth and there nothing was off limits to her, but she had no interest in what the world had to offer and thus had nothing to spend her money on. Everything she tried was so predictable and never found a way to surprise her, so her gentle and unexciting days had gradually worn down her soul.

[...]

This girl had amazing skill at working with numbers and data, but she was amazingly poor at reading the subtleties of people’s emotions. Perhaps it was better to say she had not developed that skill because she had never deemed it necessary. She had generally been able to use her money to smooth over any relationship troubles.

~ Magisterus Bad Trip Volume 1 - Lilikiska's abilities to make money and general skills have made real life boring and predictable to her, although it's noted she is bad at reading other people's emotions

“Kaname> Her limousine is a mass of bulletproof metal. And the engine is huge, so don’t think you can outrun it at max speed. If it so much as grazes you, you’ll be thrown into a building wall, so follow me if you don’t want to die!!”

[...]

Actual presidential vehicles were more than 2 meters tall, someone could walk below the back door while standing, and the tires were bigger than a dump truck’s. They might look long and slender in photos since there was no ruler or pack of cigarettes to compare it to, but they were monstrous machines.

They had to be so big to keep the walls sufficiently thick.

The doors of presidential vehicles were as thick as a vault’s door. When the exterior had to contain that, a certain size was unavoidable.

Lilikiska’s black limo did not take it that far.

But it was still a monster with 10cm-thick bulletproof glass. An assault rifle was useless against it and it could drive at 490km/h on a straightaway, so it was a threat in and of itself. It feigned harmlessness when using the electric side of its hybrid engine, but a flip of a switch would activate the kind of jet engine used for drag races. Cars were often referred to as weapons on wheels, but this may have been more like a wrecking ball on wheels. A hit from it would be more like a hit from a freight train than a car.

In acceleration on a straightaway, nothing could defeat this modified limousine while it sprayed puddle water to either side like angel wings.

[...]

Kaname seemed to have jerked the steering wheel in the opposite direction after drawing her in to the limit. The limousine just missed its target and passed through the space the mint green coupe had vacated. It tore through the metal railing dividing the road from the sidewalk while it was made of wet paper. But it kept going and returned to the road. On the way, it felled a streetlight which nearly took off Midori’s head while she rode her large red motorcycle. The girl ducked her head down to just barely let the flying pillar pass by overhead.

[...]

“Ready for what?” Midori could not believe her ears. “Are you saying we’re going to blow away that monster limo on our own? How!? It’s covered in bulletproof armor that can easily deflect an assault rifle bullet, it can move at nearly 500km/h, and we can’t blow the tires since it uses sponge! There’s nothing we can do!! I mean, even #Downpour.err is-…”

[...]

In that instant, Lilikiska ran a risk assessment. The status of the intersection was displayed on the glass table and it had highlighted Kaname’s gun and the gas cylinder rolling to the edge of the road.

However…

(It doesn’t matter if he shoots me and the cylinder can’t break through the bulletproof armor even if it detonates right beneath the limousine.)

[...]

The limousine did not fall. The entire vehicle floated up a bit. The explosion had been too big, so it lifted the car up so it was driving on just two wheels. And it continued forward like that. The mass of metal was lifted up enough for the boy and girl to fit in the newly-created gap. The bottom of the limo just about grazed their heads.

It passed by in an instant.

The limo reached the other side of the intersection while still on two wheels.

[...]

“She recovered! Dammit, you don’t normally recover from that kind of thing!”

He watched as the black limo tilted toward the tires rather than the roof. All four tires returned to the ground and obtained a firm grip on the asphalt just before the large limousine made an unbelievable U-turn that looked like a sword swung by a giant. Water sprayed up in a crescent moon shape.

[...]

“Midori> She followed us!! That limo is flying between the buildings parallel to us!!”

“Kah kah!! A sheltered rich girl in a flying limo? And with an extra-large anti-materiel rifle in her little hands!? That’s the insanity I’ve come to expect from Summer City!!”

[...]

A row of buildings stood up like crooked teeth on the other side of a large road. That black limousine had chased down Kaname and Midori on the surface streets, but now it was soaring from rooftop to rooftop like magic.

It was theoretically possible. Circuses had motorcycles, bicycles, unicycles, and even wheelchairs make large jumps from ramps and perform flips in midair. But actually seeing it had a much greater impact.

~ Magisterus Bad Trip Volume 1 - Lilikiska chases Kaname and Midori on her limousine

Midori seemed to be reading their opponent’s stats from her outfit.

“Midori> A sniper. The long-range type. She’s spent a ton of money on hand-stabilization. It looks like the aiming is entirely manual; no auto-aim at all. But that actually makes her look like an expert. Even at this range, she isn’t relying on luck. She’s going to be aiming right at us!! She might even be predicting our movements!!”

[...]

Kaname and Midori were only still alive because they and their enemy were in constant motion and because the powerful winds of the cyclone interfered. Otherwise, they and their vehicles would have been fried by now.

[...]

“Lilikiska> You think the cyclone works to your advantage? You think my aim will slip while we drive around so much? Think again.”

An explosion pierced through the scenery.

But it did not hit the mint green coupe or the large red motorcycle.

The white phosphorus explosion swallowed up the ramp they had planned to use next.

“Shit!?”

The sheet of metal only shifted a bit, but it was no longer usable for a life-risking jump. Kaname typed into the chat with his eyes to tell Midori to stop while he also slammed on the brakes in the mint green coupe. He felt a squeezing on his heart as he slid across the slick rooftop, but he managed to avoid thoughtlessly driving right off the edge.

“Lilikiska> Aiming for a stationary target isn’t all that difficult.”

~ Magisterus Bad Trip Volume 1 - Lilikiska's sniping skills and Skills

With a tremendous roar, the 10cm-thick bulletproof glass shattered. Behind it, one of Lilikiska’s arms was bent at an odd angle. She dropped #FiringLine.err, but she was too preoccupied to care this time. She clenched her teeth and kept running to escape the second shot.

Escape where?

That was obvious.

Into the open air.

There was nothing she could do.

She was slowed by the wall and railings she hit on the way down, but it was still a 20-story drop. It was a miracle she did not die the instant she hit the wet asphalt and that she was still conscious.

“…”

She was lying on her back.

A rusty scent dissolved into the rain and she felt as if she was swelling up like a squished frog.

~ Magisterus Bad Trip Volume 1 - Lilikiska falls from the roof

She picked up an assault rifle named #FlyingSwallow.err.

That assault weapon was not meant for making attacks. As long as it was contained within the large circular frame of the rear sight, any form of projectile attack – be it a bullet, a rocket, or a missile – would be shot down with a 100% success rate simply by pulling the trigger.

~ Magisterus Bad Trip Volume 1 - #SoaringSwallow.err

But time passed and he never felt the impact of the flesh-tearing and bone-shattering bullets.

He remained down on one knee with his short-range sniper rifle at the ready, but someone else had appeared in front of him.

[...]

Kaname heard a sound that was oddly high-pitched for a simple gunshot.

It was more like two swords clashing.

And of course it did.

This girl in a white blouse and a tight black skirt had used a burst of gunfire from an assault rifle to shoot down every last one of the incoming bullets. Was the shaking of full-auto fire being used to adjust her aim, or was it shifting the bullets’ axis of rotation to curve their ballistic path? Either way, this was no normal gun. Firing it did not crack her delicate metalwork headband and smart glasses and it did not form a single run in her black panty hose.

[...]

“I wouldn’t be acting so tough if I were you. My #SoaringSwallow.err will shoot down every last one of your bullets. And I can of course choose to aim between your eyes instead.”

“Hah. But it’s not all-powerful, is it? If it was, you wouldn’t have to put in this appearance. I don’t know what the exact conditions are and I don’t care. This means I just have to focus on what’s right in front of me.”

Bloody Dancer produced a dry gunshot, but his handgun was aimed straight up. It was a lot like the starting pistol at an athletics festival, but there was one difference.

Lilikiska was supposed to be shooting down all of his bullets, but red blood burst from her shoulder.

“Gh!?”

“It’s called a ricochet. If straight ahead doesn’t work, then I’ve just gotta attack from some other angle. From the look of things, I’m guessing that thing automatically detects and shoots down your targets, but only within the range of what you can see through the sight. Not that figuring out how to beat it matters when I’ve already won based on intuition alone.”

~ Magisterus Bad Trip Volume 2 - Lilikiska uses #SoaringSwallow.err to save Kaname

Miss Lilikiska Sweetmare,

The search took some doing, but we have confirmed that you are the Zodiac Child known as the Scorpion’s Tenacity.

~ Magisterus Bad Trip Volume 2 - Lilikiska is a Zodiac Child, with her ability being the Scorpion's Tenacity

Her Dealer Name was Lilikiska Sweetmare.

She had originally been a skilled sniper for the team known as Ag Wolves, but now…what was she now? She had been left behind here like she had gotten caught at a weird spot.

She was a Zodiac Child. Her ability was known as the Scorpion’s Tenacity.

There were only 12 Zodiac Children in the population of 7 billion. They were supposedly people with talents that mechanical analysis could not follow and that betrayed the predictions of the AI society.

[...]

Miss Lilikiska Sweetmare,

Thank you for your cooperation with our detailed examination. We rate you highly for making the correct decision here.

The tests went well. We attempted various intelligence tests and games like chess between tests, but your ability to immediately achieve victory where that should not be possible for a human is all the proof we need that you are a Zodiac Child.

We were already monitoring your gunfights and financial dealings, but this confirmed what we already suspected.

A lot is still unknown about the Zodiac Children, but they must be a logical existence since they are built into this game. Big data has no upper limits. If we cannot analyze something, it means we have not accumulated enough data. In that sense, your cooperation is invaluable to us.

~ Magisterus Bad Trip Volume 3 - Lilikiska as a Zodiac Child

While he was lost in thought, he felt the steel muzzle of a gun pressed against his back.

“Oh?”

He sounded calm, but he could not even look back.

“Have I proven myself now? Proven that I can predict your actions well enough to sneak up behind you?”

To repeat, he could not look back. So he had to look in the diner’s window to see who was behind him.

“Lilikiska?”

“My predictions have surpassed yours. That is a fatal flaw for you. In firefights and financial dealings.”

Takamasa took a deep breath before asking a question.

“A bolt-action sniper rifle? What happened to the #SoaringSwallow.err assault rifle I gave you?”

“I thought it would be better to save it for when I really need it than to pull it out willy-nilly. Suou Kaname needs to gather all of the Inheritance, doesn’t he?”

They were exchanging words, but he still could not tell what she was after.

Even though this was the Criminal AO analyzing her.

Lilikiska had always been a skilled sniper, but she had not been on this level. She must have used something to make up for that. And he soon figured out what that must have been.

“Are you working with them?”

[...]

“I have no interest in the world or humanity. This has proven that what I have can work against a ‘legend’, so that’s enough practice. I will attack him next time.”

A merciless gunshot rang in his ears.

But it had not been aimed at him. The window he had been using as a mirror was shattered and the shards cascaded down.

Lilikiska was no longer reflected there.

“!?”

But the moment a gunner took a shot was also their most defenseless moment thanks to the powerful recoil. And Lilikiska was most likely using a bolt-action sniper rifle that required pulling the cocking lever to load the next round after every shot. This was his only chance, so he gathered all his strength to turn around.

There was no one there.

The puny multi-tool knife in his right hand slashed through empty air.

There were plenty of places to hide – the trees lining the road, the cars in the parking lot, around the diner’s corner – but he could not guess which one the girl was using.

“I will admit the surprise on your face has put my mind at ease.”

Those had been her parting words.

He clicked his tongue and scratched at his head. He was not foolish enough to check in any of those hiding spots and find a grenade she might have left as a parting gift.

Her Zodiac Child ability was the Scorpion’s Tenacity.

She had the talent to subconsciously classify everything in the world as either necessary or unnecessary for pursuing her goal so she could take the shortest route to that goal. She would use whatever was available to her. She had used Criminal AO before and now she was using the AI society and the Magisteri.

But her venomous stinger was not aimed at Takamasa. She claimed to have no interest in the world or humanity, so it was obvious what she pursued.

~ Magisterus Bad Trip Volume 3 - Lilikiska ambushes Takamasa. Scorpion's Tenacity is explained

She scratched at her head through her messy hair while wearing only a button-down shirt. What even was the Scorpion’s Tenacity? How was she supposed to use it? She could only pray it was not a curse that prevented her from ever obtaining the thing she wanted most.

She could not do anything when not in the game.

There was not much to be done in the real world for someone so broken they could only follow the changing numbers and make money off of them.

So would she have to simply take a short break until the network stabilized?

(Wait.)

This thought that occurred to her may have been what made her so special.

It rose in her mind like the sinister tail of a scorpion.

(If every single Dealer was just forcibly logged out, couldn’t I track down anyone who showed unnatural signs in the login/logout process?)

She had no guarantee Suou Kaname would fall under that category.

Nor did she have any guarantee she could pursue him in the real world when he always eluded her in the game.

But.

She had once fought alongside him and later fought against him, so she knew some of what he was dealing with.

So it did not have to be Suou Kaname himself.

There was another extreme irregularity very close to him.

And if danger befell that boy, that other person would make full use of their power. Lilikiska was sure of it. They were sure to act when a system malfunction was threatening to destroy the world economy and harm Suou Kaname in the process.

~ Magisterus Bad Trip Volume 3 - Lilikiska's Scorpion's Tenacity apparently makes her immediately figure out a way to track Kaname when Money (Game) Master server crashes

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

Skills: Skills are abilities or bonuses granted to a Dealer by equipment such as weapons, clothing, and jewels. These skills can include things like auto-aim or the ability to see through walls and can buff the user's physical strength or increase their ability to make calculations. Lilikiska's specific Skills are mostly unknown, but they focus in sniping and include Skills to help with both sniping and close-range combat, such as concentration reinforcement and several hand-steadying/stabilizing Skills for long-range sniping.

Sophia: All Dealers have an AI partner called a Magisterus. All Magisteri take a female mythological or fantasy-based form. Lilikiska's Magisterus, for example, is an elf named Sophia. As AI, Magisteri have advanced calculation capabilities and a high ability to process data, so they act as support for their Dealers during trading and help them by offering map guidance, acquisition of financial data, programmed buying and selling, and other data services. Magisteri can only use the possessions and money of their own Dealer. They also share the Skills and parameters of their Dealer. However, if their Dealer is killed Magisteri cannot continue fighting or perform any ecomomic activity.

  • Temple: Magisteri have a Temple, a vehicle owned by their Dealer that they can drive and control. Sophia’s Temple is a large black hybrid armored limousine that can go at 490km/h using a jet engine. The limo also has 10cm-thick bulletproof glass windows and bulletproof tires. The surfaces of the limousine, like the glass table inside or its windows, can be used to display information, including video analysis of the limousine's cameras.
  • Down: If a Magisterus receives a fatal wound they won't die permanently, but instead they'll 'freeze' for a set period as they recover. The time until recovery varies based on the severity of the injury, from a few minutes to a maximum of an hour.

#SoaringSwallow.err: An Overtrick taking the form of an assault rifle with a large circular rear sight. As long as it is contained within the circular frame of the rear sight, any form of projectile attack – be it a bullet, a rocket, or a missile – will be shot down with a 100% success rate simply by pulling the trigger.

Scorpion's Tenacity: Lilikiska's talent as a Zodiac Child. It is the talent to subconsciously classify everything in the world as either necessary or unnecessary for pursuing her goal so Lilikiska can take the shortest route to that goal.
