“ | I came into life as one of many. A clone. I am an aberration of nature, an affront to mortality. The only way I could justify my existence, the only way I could rectify the mistake of myself... was to confirm that I alone deserved to live. So I hunted down every last shadow of Kraven. Knowing that I am the strongest and the only version of myself [...] To truly value life, death needs to always be present. And I, Kraven, am the bringer of death. | „ |
“ | I'm grateful, Spider. I'm thankful. For you. You put me in a grave. With my father's gun. And I did not follow him. There was a voice in my head. The voice that took my father's mother. The voice that took him. It's gone, Spider. I faced the darkness, and I did not pull the trigger. I know this now... However I die, it will not be by my hand. | „ |

“ | I will take my place at your side. Together we will hunt the one who has vexed you for so long. I am going to kill him for you, father. I am going to lay his body at your feet just as I did with my brothers. And when that is done-- then I will inherit your kingdom. | „ |
Summary
The man currently bearing the mantle of Kraven the Hunter was originally one of many clones engineered by the High Evolutionary on behalf of the original Kraven, who was looking for perfect successors who could continue the legacy of the Kravinoff even after his departure. One clone in particular rose over the others as, yearning to prove himself the greatest, murdered all of the others, thus becoming the last son of Kraven. At first he tried to aid his father, convinced he was once again attempting to hunt down Spider-Man, while in reality he was enabling a plan that would have returned him to the grave he had been taken away from years prior. Following his father's demise, the last son received his posthumous blessing to live as the new Kraven the Hunter.
Haunted by his origin as a clone and the tragic history of his father, Kraven embarked on a journey to give meaning to his life. He strived to follow on his father's foothsteps and outdo his achievements, hunting the most dangerous game and facing new, extraordinary foes that could earn him glory. Kraven's enlightenment came at the hands of a corrupted Spider-Man who, maddened by vengefullness, attempted to break his spirit and lead him to commit suicide, just like his father had done. However, Kraven did not falther and pushed through the looming darkness. Having finally conquered his demons, Kraven resumed the hunt with renewed spirit.

- Magic and Limited Conceptual Manipulation (Has performed a ritual to transfer Norman Osborn's sins from the Queen Goblin to a special spear crafted for the occasion.[16] The sins represented the metaphysical manifestation of the Green Goblin's persona, extracted from Norman Osborn by the revenant Sin-Eater's demonic powers,[23] and later inserted into Ashley Kafka's body by the Beyond Corporation, turning her into the Queen Goblin.[24] It is strongly suggested that Kraven possesses knowledge of his father's rituals)
- Social Influencing (Deception: Can imitate the calls of a thousand animals and has lured Spider-Man intro a trap by replicating the moans of a dying man.[20] Played dead against the White Tiger, pretending to have been knocked out in order to eavesdrop a conversation between her and a group of Dark Elves, and then let her resume her quest without suspecting to still be in Kraven's sight.[19] Cohercion: Has taken hostages[9] or threatened civilians[17] in order to gain an advantage over his opponents. Has collaborated with the Kingpin and Aka to blackmail Elektra and lead her into fighting him against her will.[25][26] Social Position: As a member of Kingpin's Thunderbolts, Kraven had authority over the NYPD and the Thunderbolt Units, a power he has eagerly abused of for his own ends[26])
- Resistance to
- Poisons and Perception Manipulation (Members of the Kravinoff family cultivate resistance to toxicants[27] and drugs.[28] Could maintain clarity of mind despite suffering from the effects of a hallucinogenic gas[29])

- Poison Manipulation (Can release a cloud of noxious gas around himself through an unknown device.[7] His Jormungand spear brims with the venom of the Midgard serpent itself.[18][30][31] Has still access to his father's belt tusks, which are laced with toxins and antidotes.[9][10] Administered a gorilla a drug which sent it into a rampage[32])
- Perception Manipulation (Some of his darts could induce crippling hallucinations and deliriums[20] in Ben Reilly which lasted for hours and compromised all of his perceptions[33])
- Sleep Manipulation (Can launch volleys of darts[6] laced with medical-grade tranquilizers which could knock out the members of the Monster King's Honor Guard and even kill a normal human such as Chet Morita.[34] Has synthesized a tranquilizer capable of knocking out twenty elephants with the dose inserted in just a single dart.[11] Kraven's strongest sedative, when delivered in sufficient amount, could take down an entire pod of humpback whales[21])
- Regeneration Negation (Jormungand's poison was the only thing that could bypass Mánagarmr's immortality and keep them incapacitated[18][30][31])

Has fought Deadpool as equals and could deal significant damage to him even with physical blows.[6][7] Has stalemated Elektra in combat and could knock her down with a well-placed punch[9][10]), up to Large Building level with weapons (At least equal to his father. His knives can wound[36][37][38] Spider-Man, the[13] Werewolf by Night and[3] Wolverine. One of his explosives could seriously injure Ben Reilly[20] ) far higher with mystical weapons (The bullets Hela granted him could knock down even Valkyrie and leave a visible bruise on her chest.[18][30] The spear armed with a tooth of Jormungand was deemed even more effective and could impale the unkillable Mánagarmr, son of Fenris.[18][30][31] The Empyrion Blade could draw blood[21] even from the Hulk)
Speed: Superhuman to Subsonic Travel Speed, Hypersonic Reactions and Perceptions (Spider-Man deemed him faster than[29] the original Kraven. His dashes and jumps[17][18] generate small air bursts. Has survived being hurled over the horizon[21] by the Hulk. Didn't suffer any visible damage from being launched against a fighter jet and caught its subsequent explosion[35])
Stamina: Superhuman (Comparable to the original Kraven and likely superior due to his younger body.[29] Even after having been brutally mauled by the Lizard, Kraven still had enough energy left in him to confront and murder his father, whom he thought being Spider-Man.[39] Was stabbed over a dozen times in his battle against Deadpool and still kept fighting with absolute nonchalance; right at the end of said duel, Kraven was hit by an arrow and swallowed by a murderous Kraken, then he survived inside its belly and freed himself after undergoing a trip from Staten Island to Antarctica.[6][7] Was knocked out by Elektra and came back to his senses in mere moments.[10] Has undergone over two weeks of hunting in the harshness of the North Pole, outliving his dogs, feeding off of lichens alone and sleeping just a fitful of hours, until he finally slew an oversized polar bear with but his hands and a knife.[5] Survived three hefty slashes from Wolverine and being subsequently chomped by the maw of a giant tyrannousaur; after that, he somehow made it back to the Arctic in spite of injuries and broken bones.[3] Butchered a group of vampires and could still stand despite the severe wounds suffered[13])
Range: Standard Melee Range physically, Extended Melee Range to Hundreds of Meters with equipment
Standard Equipment: At least two knives and one spear.
- Melee Weapons and Firearms: Sword,[20] Blowgun,[14] Assorted Blades,[8] Crossbow,[13] Bolas,[3] Sniper Rifle,[17] Pistol,[18] Grenades,[17] Rocket Launcher.[35]
- Electric Fork: A melee weapon shaped like a tuning fork whose sharp edges release electricity on contact.[7]
- Asgardian Bullets: Ammunitions of dwarven-made steel. Kraven received them from Hela when she hired him to hunt down the World-Eater Wolf. Even when fired by an Earthen rifle, such bullets could still knock down an Asgardian such as Valkyrie and leave a superficial scar.[18][30]
- Jormungand Spear: A weapon of divine nature produced by mounting one of the Midgard Serpent's teeth on a shaft created with Asgardian magic. Hela provided it to Kraven so that he could ultimately hunt down the World-Eater Wolf Mánagarmr. The blades still brims with Jormungand's venom and is able to incapacitate even an immortal being.[18][30][31]
- Empyrion Blade:[21] A magical knife capable of capturing human souls once its blade is bathed in monster blood.
- Belt Tusks: Kraven has occasionally sported his father's characteristic belt, which features a collection of tusks laced with toxins and antidotes.[9][10][13]
- Electrified Net: A traditional trapping net hurled by hand which also electrocutes its victims.[6]
- Smoke Bombs:[13] Palm-sized explosives meant to disorient the target with smoke and light.
- Darts: Small projectiles which inject powerful tranquilizers. Kraven can launch dozens of them[6] in a single volley on his own or through traps set up beforehand.[34] Some of them are potent enough to kill humans and knock out even twenty elephants with even a single projectile. About fifteen darts imbued with a tranquilizer derived from cone snail venom could take down a pod of humpback whales and slow down even the Hulk.[21]
- Poison Gas and Mask: A harmful gas released by an unknown device. It spreads like fog and temporarily disrupts those who breath it in. Kraven carries a protective mask that lets him unleash the gas even when surrounded by enemies.[7]
- Arctic Gear: A set of equipment meant for traversing polar regions. It includes heavy clothing that shield the body from the cold and ice axes to climb vertical surfaces.[5][8]
One of Kraven's signature traits are the several traps he sets up in preparation for a hunt and during his career he has displayed knowledge on a great number of them.
- Nets: Classic tools used to capture unaware preys and hold them suspended in the air.[14] They trigger upon stepping on them[34] or via commands sent from a remote.
- Darts: The aforementioned kind of poisoned projectile. Their launch can be triggered in conjunction with the activation[34] of other traps or as a result of a target passing across a certain spot.[20]
- Explosives: Hidden bombs triggered remotely. Kraven has used them to surprise Spider-Man[20] and to perform a comfortable escape.[33]
- Chains: A tangle of colossal chains hidden on an elevated spot and whose fall can be triggered by pulling a nearby rope. Kraven employed them to crush the Moon Wolf and keep them downed enough long enough to execute them with his Asgardian rifle.[17] Kraven has also employed a set of smaller chains, two of which connected to bear traps, in order to immobilize a sedated Hulk.
Intelligence: Gifted (Kraven and his brothers have been personally trained and raised by the original Kraven with the purpose of becoming his perfect successors. When the time came for each of the clones to pursue their final quest, the one who will become known as "The Last Son of Kraven" accomplished the additional feat of single-handedly hunt down and kill all his other 86 siblings, thus proving himself the best among them.[4] Kraven has then walked the same path of his father, journeying the world to seek the thrill of new challenges; he has slayed dinosaurs in the Savage Land,[40] pushed his body's limits hunting an abnormal polar bear in the North Pole,[5] faced whale-like creatures underwater and claimed numerous other beasts as his prizes.[8] Yearning to prove himself worthy of the life he was artificially given, Kraven also set off to hunt down out every last shadow of his predecessor and claim his right to exist.[15]
True to his moniker, Kraven possesses numerous skills and great knowledge related to hunting. He was able to not only accomplish great feats, but also preserve the reputation passed onto him by his late father. Aside from resuming his feud with Spider-Man, Kraven has challenged some of the greatest metahumans the world has to offer, including foes stronger than him. More than one of his targets would not have made it out alive from their confrontation with Kraven, had it not been for external influences or help, thus confirming the danger he poses once he sets his sight on a prey)
Weaknesses: Just like it was for his father, Kraven requires regular intake of the jungle serum in order to preserve his superhuman capabilities. His arrogance occasionally leads him to underestimate his opponents.
