Summary
Knack is a platforming beat 'em up video game developed by SIE Japan Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 4. The game was internationally released in November 2013 and released in Japan in February 2014.
The story revolves around a relic golem made out of relics named Knack. Originally created by the scientist Doctor Vargas to combat the rising Goblin threat, he would then go on to stop the evil industrialist, Viktor, from bringing about the end of the world. Later, in the second game, Knack would go on to stop the rogue Monk, Xander, from destroying the world with an object known as the Artifact.
Power of the Verse
The verse starts off relatively weak, with smaller enemies being Below Average Human level and larger enemies capping at around Building level.
It is only with the release of the second game that we see a significant boost to the verse. Knack is introduced to Relic Energy, which allows him to perform new attacks such as Boomerang, which allows him to disable electrical shields. It is also with the introduction of Xander and his Armageddon Machine that the verse gets boosted to City level. Overall, the verse is still quite young, and we have yet to see the true extent of it's capabilities.
