Summary
Kiana Kaslana, is the main heroine of "Honkai Impact 3rd". Originally known as K-423, Kiana was a clone of the child of Siegfried Kaslana and Cecilia Schariac, rescued by Siegfried and the original Kiana. During her rescue however, the original Kiana was thrown out of the plane during their escape and presumed dead. Siegfried would take K-423 in, but found it difficult to acknowledge her as his own as he grieved the loss of his daughter.
However, K-423 would come to prove herself by taking up arms to protect the innocent using Siegfried's own weapon, causing him to finally overcome his grief and name her after his own daughter, Kiana Kaslana. He would train her in the Kaslana arts and raise her as his daughter, but in time, Siegfried would come to realize that the sight of his face would trigger the emergence of the Herrscher buried deep within Kiana's soul, and he would be forced to leave her behind for her own safety, lest she lose herself to the Honkai.
K-423, now Kiana Kaslana, would spend the next several years keeping to the oath of the Kaslana family and protecting the weak, while also searching for her father. In 2016, she would enroll in Chiba Academy, where she would befriend Raiden Mei and become integral to restoring her humanity when she became the Third Herrscher. While attempting to escape the city, they would encounter Bronya Zaychik. After a brief confrontation, they would team up to make their escape; eventually being found by Murata Himeko, a valkyrie of Schicksal, and become enrolled in St. Freya Academy to train as valkyries to defend the world from Honkai.
Though her past and the struggles that come with it would eventually catch up to her. The Honkai's Herrschers would continue to descend, the machinations of bygone eras would emerge into the modern day, and the truth of Honkai would slowly be revealed. But with the support and love shown by the friends she's made in St. Freya, and the ideals of the mentors she had come to admire, Kiana would overcome them all; realizing her full potential as the world spiraled closer to the Finality.

These include her being able to rapidly deduce the schemes of World Serpent within Arc City just from scattered clues, a feat that greatly surprised Fu Hua, as well as keep up with the difficult mathematical and quantum theory behind the applications of her Void Authority. Early into her story, Kiana tended to act reckless and headstrong, often charging headfirst into battle with little to no plan and relying solely on her instincts and abilities.
During the Great Eruption, while possessed by the Herrscher of the Void persona, she was arrogant and often preferred to play with her opponents, defaulting to shows of strength and ability rather than any actual tactics.
After regaining control of her body and having been forced to adapt to her new circumstances as Void Drifter, Kiana became far more strategic in her approach to battle. However, she could not use her Herrscher powers too extensively or risk losing control of her body once again to the Herrscher of the Void.
After gaining control over her full Herrscher form during the climax of the Arc City storyline, and as was the case throughout the Herrscher of Sentience arc, Kiana became less restricted in her use of Herrscher Authorities, but still could not use too much or risk speeding up her Honkai corruption and eventually cascading.
As the Herrscher of Flamescion onward, she has no notable weaknesses.
