Summary
Kakegae Yuzuriha (杠 かけがえ, Yuzuriha Kakegae) is an antagonist in the series Medaka Box.
She is a member of the Yuzuriha family, and was one of the six suitors who took part in the second Jet Black Wedding Feast to marry Medaka Kurokami.

Weaknesses: Style is uneffective against frenzied enemies and enemies that cannot understand words. Cutting out the tongue of a style user can take away their style

- Combat Expert: Yuzuriha is able to recognize and counter others' attacks before they have even begun, and can even stop two simultaneous attacks in such a fashion. Yuzuriha can also read when her opponent will retreat, and take advantage of their momentum to enhance her own attacks.
Styles:
- Eight Hundred Lies User (嘘八百使い, Uso Happyaku Tsukai): Yuzuriha is able to create 800 copies of herself. Each is able to create 800 copies as well, for a total of 640,000 copies. These copies will not disappear even if the real one is hit. Medaka states that this is the best style to stop someone in their tracks. In a pinch, Yuzuriha can form a human wall of 799 bodies to defend herself and one other person. Yuzuriha claims she can defend more people if she has more time.
- Metonymy User (換喩使い, Kan'yu Tsukai): Yuzuriha's second style grants her the ability to "rephrase". She can take the concept of "oneself" and replace it with another concept of similar attributes. This allows her to physically transform into another person, and even use their abilities, such as their style. This gives her the potential to transform into anyone she knows, including Namanie, Medaka, and Iihiko, becoming their equals.
Note: She has never demonstrated combining Eight Hundred Lies and Metonymy in any on-screen parts of her battles. The fact that her clones produced by Eight Hundred Lies can use the style themselves might suggest that they are able to use her styles, though. The secondary clones have not demonstrated this ability, so it is possible they aren't capable of using either style.
