~ Justice's final words to Sol Badguy |
Summary
Justice (ジャスティス, Jasutisu) is a major character in the Guilty Gear series and is one of its main antagonists. Justice was formerly Aria Hale, a preeminent Gear researcher and particle physicist, until she was converted into the first functioning Gear by Asuka R. Kreuz. However, during the conversion, she was infected by the Universal Will, which attempted to hijack her body and submerge the nation of Japan in the Backyard, an alternate dimension composed of pure data. As a result, Kreuz was forced to override her weapons systems and force her to destroy Japan. Already damaged by the Universal Will's invasion, Aria's psyche was shattered, and Justice was born. She declared all-out war on humankind, taking control of all Gears and leading them against the assembled forces of humanity in a 100-year war called the Crusades.
After she was sealed in an alternate dimension at the end of the Crusades, Testament orchestrated the Second Holy Order Selection Tournament to free her, but she was overwhelmed and destroyed by Sol Badguy, having one final moment of clarity before death. The remnants of Aria's psyche were later recovered from Justice's corpse and implanted in Jack-O Valentine, while analysis of her specs and combat data were used to create robotic "Imitation Justice" units by the shadowy Post-War Administration Bureau.
Powers and Stats
Tier: High 5-A, Low 1-C with Eve's Seed | High 5-A | Possibly High 5-A
Key: Base | Empowered by the Outrage Equipment | Imitation series
Name: Justice, formerly Aria Hale
Origin: Guilty Gear
Gender: Female
Age: Over 100 years old prior to her death
Classification: Commander Gear, Former Human
Powers and Abilities: Gear Physiology, Flight (Atmospheric and low-space capable), Energy Projection, Explosion Manipulation, Electricity Manipulation,Radiation Manipulation (Able to fire blasts of gamma radiation), Bodily Weaponry, Able to control most other Gears, Teleportation (Can teleport over long distances and even to another dimension), Magic as Information Manipulation, Non-Physical Interaction (Able to hit souls), Inorganic Physiology (Type 2), Self-Sustenance (Types 1 and 2), Summoning (Able to summon Gears), Self-Destruction, Fusionism (Able to fuse with Elphelt and Jack-O), Regeneration (Low-Mid), Absorption (Can absorb energy), Immortality (Types 4 and limited 8; Reliant on Master Ghost, though this doesn't last indefinitely), Resurrection and Extrasensory Perception (Via Master Ghost, she can sense people from other dimensions and resurrect herself), Transmutation, Reality Warping, Spatial Manipulation, Biological Manipulation and Disease Manipulation (Her attempted revival caused Information Flares, which destroy space, transmute objects by rewriting their information, cause diseases and mutations, and warp reality), Soul Manipulation, Mind Manipulation, Matter Manipulation, Deconstruction, Death Manipulation and Existence Erasure (She can induce Absolute World, which kills all lifeforms in the universe, erases everything in the universe, deconstructs matter at the sub-atomic to macro quantum scale, and merges the Backyard, a universe that assaults one's body, mind and soul, with reality), Resistance to Extreme Cold, Cosmic Radiations, Death Manipulation, Existence Erasure and Deconstruction (Can resist Absolute World (see above)), Spatial Manipulation, Reality Warping, Biological Manipulation (Able to resist information flares) | All of the above except Transmutation, Reality Warping, Spatial Manipulation, Biological Manipulation and Disease Manipulation, Soul Manipulation, Mind Manipulation, Matter Manipulation, Deconstruction, Death Manipulation and Existence Erasure, Resistance to any of the above, Resurrection and Extrasensory Perception, and Immortality type 8 (Replicas do not possess Eve's Seed, and thus cannot interact with the Backyard or cause Information Flares or Absolute World)
Attack Potency: Brown Dwarf level (Presumably weaker to a degree than when she was amplified with the Outrage Equipment), Low Complex Multiverse level with Eve's Seed (When Adam and Eve appear in the Backyard simultaneously, an Absolute World occurs[1]; blurring the boundaries of the Backyard and the living world, merging them for a brief moment, and erasing anything that cannot withstand that state.[1] The Backyard itself is a higher-dimensional world that decides the laws of the living world[2][3]). Able to ignore conventional durability with Existence Erasure | Brown Dwarf level (When amplified by the Outrage Equipment, she let out a Gamma Ray with such output, vaporizing Japan down to the sea floor) | Possibly Brown Dwarf level (Claimed by Crow to be “pretty close” to the strength of the original, albeit with admittance that it is only in a prototype phase[4])
Speed: At least Relativistic+, likely higher (Able to keep up with Sol, making her likely faster than Johnny. Her Gamma Ray Burst is made of actual gamma radiation that moves at the speed of light) | At least Relativistic+, likely higher | At least Relativistic+, likely higher
Lifting Strength: At least Class P (Superior to Anji Mito)
Striking Strength: Brown Dwarf level | Brown Dwarf level | Possibly Brown Dwarf level
Durability: Brown Dwarf level (Able to take hits from Sol Badguy) | Brown Dwarf level | Possibly Brown Dwarf level
Stamina: Extremely high (Fought most of the cast of the first game in rapid succession and was still able to fight at her peak)
Range: Standard Melee Range, Thousands of Kilometers with attacks, cross-Dimensional when exerting her influence on other Gears (Manipulated Testament while she was sealed within an interdimensional prison), Universal with Information Flare. Low Multiversal with Absolute World.
Standard Equipment: Outrage Armor
Intelligence: Below Average. The destruction of Aria's psyche wiped Justice's mind nearly clean, leaving her only with a senseless will to destroy all humankind. Even with greatly superior firepower and perfect tactical command over all Gears, she failed to command them to victory over humankind, and has never won a fight in which she had equal or inferior firepower to her opponent. | Unknown, although likely higher than Justice, as it runs on a computer rather than an unstable human mind.
Weaknesses: Not able to cause Absolute World without Sol Badguy present, as he is the bearer of Adam's Seed. Omega Shift is risky to use, since it leaves Justice very vulnerable when it ends.
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Valkyrie Arc: Justice grabs the opponent with the sharp point on the end of her tail and flips them over her head.
- Michael Sword: Justice lengthens her claws and channels electricity into them, then swipes forward with one hand.
- Strike Back Tail: Justice flips backward, creating an arc of lightning in front of herself.
- Nuclear Blast: Justice launches a missile that explodes upon impact with a target.
- Saperia Trance: Justice engages the rocket boosters on her shoulders and flies forward at high speed as an attack.
- Body control: Justice can morph the shape of her body to create spikes, drills, and large claws to attack.
Overdrives:
- Michael Blade: An enhanced version of Michael Sword that covers more distance and is more powerful.
- Imperial Ray: Justice fires a laser beam from the cannons on her shoulders.
- Gamma Ray: Justice charges up before firing a powerful blast of gamma radiation from the cannons on her shoulders. This attack was used to destroy the entirety of Japan.
- Omega Shift: Justice expends some power to briefly enter a heightened state of speed, maneuverability, and power. She must take a moment to recharge when it ends, during which time she is vulnerable to attack.
Instant Kill:
- X Laser: Justice picks up the opponent and carries them into space before bombarding them with explosions.
