Summary
Julie Pierce is the main protagonist of the Next Karate Kid sequel to the original Karate Kid movies. Julie Pierce is shown at first to be a troubled person, struggling with the grief of her dead parents. Miyagi analyzes this as the result of Julie's anger towards everyone. She is soon crept on by Ned Randall, who abuses his power as a teen security guard in her school. Julie's only friend is a bird she names "Angel" that she takes care of, dude to its damaged wing. Mr. Miyagi tells her grandmother who has trouble helping her to have Mr. Miyagi take care of her. While it is a struggle for Mr. Miyagi, Mr. Miyagi helps her with her efforts while Eric McGowen acquaints Julie with taking a love interest in her. By the end of the film Miyagi helps her find balance, while McGowen becomes the love interest to her. Her newly acquired skills allow her to best her bully, Ned Randall.

Standard Tactics: Julie Pierce is a highly defensive fighter and like most of them she prefers to wait for an opponent to make a move, then counter-strike when there is an opening. Employing throws and high flexibility to help her strikes and namely bring an opponent off-balance off. She prefers to slither away and catch opponents off guard with her speed to outwit opponents with superior strength.
