Summary

Jacqui Briggs is a fighter introduced in Mortal Kombat X, she is a close friend to Cassie Cage and the daughter of Jackson Briggs and Vera Briggs.

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics (Possesses superhuman strength allowing her to nn crush skulls, knock heads off, etc.), Martial Arts (Muay Thai, Wrestling & Boxing), Weapon Mastery (Wields a variety of guns and gauntlets), Vehicular Mastery (Skilled pilot), Energy Manipulation (Can fire blue energy bursts), Limited Explosion Manipulation (With sticky bombs, explosive rounds, etc.), Forcefield Creation (Able to make force walls, energy bucklers and "tech shields"), Smoke Manipulation (With smoke rounds), Damage Reduction (Can make fields that reduces damage taken), Statistics Amplification (Can increase her own kicks speed), Flight (Pseudo-flight), Attack Reflection (Can reflect projectiles), Resistance to Soul Manipulation and Mind Manipulation (Able to wear Kronika's crown without having her soul taken into it.   • Downward Hammer: Jacqui pivots forward and slams her rear fist over the opponent.
  • Turnaround Punch: Similar to Ryu's Shoryuken, except Jacqui doesn't lift herself off the floor.
    • Warship: After Turnaround Punch, she does second one that launches the opponent and lifts her up. She then fires a shot at the airborne opponent.
  • Cranked: Jacqui hops forward with an uppercut and does a cross gauntlet punch. She then fires a shot from the gauntlet.
    • Hawkeye: The gauntlet attack is replaced with an oblique kick and a spinning back fist.
  • The Trenches: Jacqui steps forth with a hammerfist and turns towards the opponent to thrust an elbow strike. She steps forward one last time with an elbow swing.
    • Back Shot: The 2nd elbow swing is replaced with a point blank shotgun blast.
  • Buck Up: Jacqui throws a rear hook punch and does two kicks to the leg and flank. She then sends her opponent flying with a roundhouse kick.
  • Leaping Bow: Jacqui jumps up and slams her elbow down on the opponent.
  • Mix Up: Jacqui pivots on a leg to throw a kick to the shins and spins down for a sweep kick.
  • Gauntlet Punch: After hopping up, Jacqui punches the opponent with an energy infused gauntlet.
  • Quick Reflex: While recovering from a knockdown/successfully blocking an attack, Jacqui counters by slamming fists and knee together, creating a close range energy blast.
  • Trained To Kill: Jacqui jumps towards her opponent and clashes her gauntlets together, releasing a blue energy blast from them. She then fires another blast from both gauntlets.
  • Danger Zone: Jacqui does a side kick and hooks the opponent down with a hook kick. She then breaks their skull with an axe stomp.
  • In The Trenches: Jacqui stomps the opponent's leg, turns around with a back fist, and does a butterfly kick.
    • Total Overload: After the stomp, Jacqui slams her elbow and knee to create a close range energy blast.
  • Justice For All: Jacqui does a push kick and rushes forth with an uppercut. She jumps up with a knee strike that launches the opponent before clinging onto them while in mid-air to fire an energy blast from her legs.
  • Lost Dog Tags: Jacqui does a spinning hook kick, but she stops her leg mid-kick to fire an energy blast from her leg.

  • (Air) Ground Smash: While airborne, Jacqui crashes her gauntlets to the ground, creating a powerful shockwave.
  • (Air) Fake Out: Jacqui feigns her (Air) Ground Smash attack.
  • Forces Rush: Jacqui dashes through her opponent with a lariat and shoots them in the back using both gauntlets.
  • Bionic Dash (MKX): Jacqui lunges towards her opponent, winding up a powerful uppercut that launches them.
    • Instead of an uppercut, she lifts them by the neck and spins them around with a hook punch. She stops them from spinning and fires a point blank shot behind their head.
  • Gauntlet Strike: Jacqui rushes to the opponent with an uppercut to the guts, two elbow swings, a knee strike, and a push kick.
    • The push kick can be replaced with a shot from both of her gauntlets.
  • Tech Shield: Jacqui clashes her gauntlets together, making a momentary shield that blocks projectiles.
    • Alternatively, it can block and reflect incoming projectiles.
  • Single Barrel: Jacqui aims her gauntlet and fires a close range shotgun blast.
  • Low Blow: Jacqui aims for the ground and fires a close range shotgun blast which also creates a small dust cloud.
  • Hand Cannon: Jacqui aims her gauntlet and fires a fully automatic burst of bullets.
    • After firing bullets, she can shoot a pair of rockets that move towards the opponent in a sine wave pattern.
  • Low Rocket: Jacqui aims to the ground and fires an explosive rocket.
  • Up Rocket: Jacqui aims upwards and fires a pair of explosive rockets that move in a sine wave pattern.
  • Gauntlet Spark: Jacqui clashes her high tech gauntlets together, gaining an additional plasma effect to her gauntlet based attacks.
  • Quick Burst: Jacqui shoots a close range plasma blast from her high tech gauntlets. The attack can be charged up for more damage, reaching max damage when two pulses have been heard.
    • Enhancing this attack with Gauntlet Spark and reaching max charge will make the blast pink, just like Sonya's energy rings.
  • Shrapnel Blast: Jacqui fires a close range blast of blue energy from her gauntlets. Can be shot upwards downwards and straight as well as be performed while airborne.
  • Bionic Dash (MK11) Jacqui performs her father's Dash Punch attack, imbued with blue energy.
  • Grease Kick: Jacqui performs two middle kicks charged with her cyber enhanced legs.
    • She can extend the attack which allows her to release faster, additional kicks before ending it with a roundhouse or axe kick.
  • Prototype Rocket: Jacqui fires a large rocket propelled grenade. Can be shot downwards, straight, and upwards as well as be performed while airborne.
  • Grenade Launcher: Jacqui fires a plasma grenade. When the opponent is struck by it, they'll be coated in plasma and take DoT. If she chooses to fire it on the floor, it will create a plasma pool that deals DoT to those standing on it. Can be shot downwards, straight, and upwards as well as be performed when airborne.
  • Hyper Knee: Jacqui does a lunging knee strike propelled by her cyber enhanced legs.
  • Lethal Clinch: Jacqui traps the opponent in a deadly Muay Thai clinch, allowing her to attack them with several moves.
    • Spear Knee: Jacqui knees the opponent in the abdomen.
    • Belly To Back Suplex: A technique taught to her from her dad, Jacqui grabs their midsection and shifts her weight to fall on her back, slaming them on their back as well.
    • Spear Elbow Drop: Jacqui jumps up and drops her elbow on the back of their skull.
    • Double Spear Knee: Jacqui knees the opponent to launch them and jumps up with another knee strike.
  • (Air) Dive Bomb: While airborne, Jacqui dives towards the opponent with an energy shield.
  • Tech Dome: Jacqui deploys a shield battery, creating a force dome that reduces the damage she takes while inside it.
  • Cybernetic Override: Jacqui cancels out of a basic attack or kombos, allowing her to feint and shorten attacks.
  • Bionic Bounce: Jacqui takes a great leap enhanced by her cyber enhanced legs.
  • Robo Grappler: Jacqui grapples an opponent after a successful throw escape.
    • Arm Break: Jacqui pushes an opponent to the ground and wraps her legs around their arm. She'll then bend back while pulling the arm, causing it to snap.
    • Leg Break: Jacqui tackles an opponent to the ground and grabs one of their legs. She then breaks their leg by the knee.

  • Jacqui grabs the opponent and hits their gut with her knee, forcing them to kneel. She lifts them by the head and fires a point blank shot at their face. The shot varies with the kind of ammunition her gauntlets are loaded with.
  • Jacqui grabs the opponent and swings her elbow at them. He throws a shield battery under their feet and fires an energy blast at their feet to trip them on their face. The battery releases a force wall that launches them up and she fires a rocket at the airborne opponent.
  • Jacqui grabs her opponent's arm and slams them to the floor. She crushes their spine with her energy charged elbow and leaps up with her cyber enhanced legs. As they attempt to recover, she crashes down her knees on their spine, crushing it again.

  • Mind Blown: Jacqui does a Bionic Blast, punching the opponent's jaw and turning them around, and forwarding with a blast to the head from her gauntlets that leaves a hole in it.
  • Gun Show: Jacqui delivers a Gauntlet Flurry at the opponent and ends it with a gauntlet blast that leaves a gigantic hole in their torso.
  • Shrapnel: Jacqui fires a Low Blow into the opponent's shins, which obliterates them.
  • Heavy Artillery: Jacqui fires her Hand Cannon and then enhances it with her rocket launcher. The rocket then explodes on contact with her opponent, leaving them in pieces.
  • The Klassic: Jacqui does an uppercut, but it decapitates them with their spine intact.

  • X-Ray (Chest Kavity): Jacqui uppercuts her opponent, stunning them. First, she delivers a barrage of punches to their ribs, breaking them one by one. Second, she delivers an uppercut to the jaw, smashing it and launching them upwards. Finally, she leaps towards her falling opponent and lands a final punch to their spine, breaking it.
  • Fatal Blow (WALL OF JUSTICE): Jacqui fires a blast of energy that dazes the opponent. She throws a grenade behind her opponent that creates a force wall and shoots two rockets that blast them towards the wall. They bounce back from it only to get shot multiple times as the bullets go through them and bounce off the wall to shoot through their head, shoulder and chest. Jacqui rushes towards them and delivers a kick that smashes them through the wall, breaking it.
