Summary

Isaac is the central villain of Castlevania: Curse of Darkness. A powerful Devil Forgemaster, Isaac lures Hector back to Dracula's Castle in order to make him the new host body of Dracula. He does this by rigging the trial for Hector's wife to be burned at the stake as a witch. Isaac's sister Julia attempts to prevent Hector from killing him right up until the end.

Range: Extended Melee Range with swords. Low Multiversal with magic (Can affect the entirety of Dracula's castle, which is another world and can access the passage of time itself[67])

Standard Equipment:

  • The Laser Blade: Shrouded in mystery and with varying reports of its weight and length, many say it does not even exist. When sheathed, the sword has no blade; the blade's energy beam only appears when it is swung. The blade is semi-flexible and glows with a purple aura, making it resemble a whip
  • Innocent Devil: The creatures that can only be created by a Devil Forgemaster like Isaac. He has various type of his devils to use in a fight.
  • Fairy-Type: The small creatures in shape of a fairy. They are relatively weak but have useful abilities to support Isaac such as healing, poison powder, lullaby and invisible magic.
    • Battle-Type: There are several different shapes of this type, such as the golem, skullknight, samurai-like, liquid golem, etc. they're useful to fight in combat.
    • Bird-Type: The flying creatures in shape of birds or dragons. The Bird-Type is stronger than the Fairy-Type but weaker than the Devil-Type or Battle-Type. It's very agile, giving it an advantage over ground enemies. They can easily defeat light enemies by juggling them but suffer against armored or heavy enemies.
    • Mage-Type: The wizard-like Innocent Devils. They are the only true magic-users of the Innocent Devils by casting elemental magic and time stop.
    • Devil-Type: The winged-devil. They're considered a balance between the Battle-Type and the Bird-Type, as they can fly and perform Chain-Attacks with Isaac. They can use the Magic Circle ability to allow Isaac to hidden in Magic Circle. As they advance, they can cause spikes, blades and powerful explosions to issue from the Magic Circle.
    • Pumpkin-Type: The small devils with Jack O'Lantern head. they are among the weakest with the fairies will be completely vulnerable while performing one. However, they give a large boost to all stats, making Isaac very strong.


Intelligence: Genius (Is highly skilled with magic, which requires one to understand Quantum Physics to utilize it to its fullest.[26])

Weaknesses: He can summon only one devil in a row.

  • Skull Bomb: The ID creates a bomb that damages anyone in the vicinity.
  • Gold Heal: The ID heals the target greatly in exchange for gold.
  • Decipher: The ID can read any language for the user.
  • Invincible Vase: The ID renders the target invincible from any attacks for a brief period of time.
  • Healing Drops: The ID allows the target to absorb the life from their foes.
  • Crystal Skull: The ID renders the target invisible from any foes, letting them plan their next attack with ease.
  • Twinkle Shot: The ID draws stars in the air and projects them towards the foes to deal damage.
  • Lullaby: The ID sings a lullaby to put their foes to sleep.

  • Aura Blast: The ID creates a wave of aura to deal damage to their targets.
  • Brute Force: The ID lifts the ground to throw their foes off balance.
  • Heavenly Sword: The ID summons countless amount of blades from the sky to rain on their foes.
  • Hip Press: The ID slams their body into the ground to make a shockwave to deal damage to everyone.
  • Ultra Scream: The ID creates a loud scream to stun the targets around them.
  • Homing Eye: The ID creates numerous explosive eyes that locks onto the target and explodes on contact.
  • Grand Wave: The ID sends a massive energy blast towards the target.
  • Glow Soul: The ID sends a soul to lock onto the targets and deal damage.
  • Bone Storm: The ID releases countless sharp bones from their body to deal damage to their targets.
  • Chain Punch: The ID constantly strikes with both arms to overwhelm them.
  • Machine Gun Shot: The ID shoots from their arms to deal damage to their target.
  • Mercury Sphere: The ID transforms into a giant sphere that flies everywhere and hits the enemies numerous times.
  • Magma Mode: The ID increases the temperature of their skin to boiling magma hot and passively deals damage to their targets.

  • Caltrops: The ID rains down numerous caltrops that explodes when touched or after a brief period of time.
  • Carpet Bomb: The ID drops bone bombs wherever they fly to take out numerous targets.
  • Bone Shot: The ID rains numerous bones from their body onto the target to deal damage.
  • Sphere of Darkness: The ID absorbs the rage around itself and manifests it into a sphere that harms anyone in its path.
  • Big Bang: The ID sacrifices its life to create a massive explosion to kill anyone in the vicinity.
  • Fire Bird: The ID crashes themselves into the target and burns them to a crisp as a result.
  • Deadly Absorb: The ID absorbs the lifeforce of their targets and gives it to the user.
  • Beat Progress: The ID attacks the foes with a series of deadly kicks.
  • Conflict Fall: The ID channels their magic into one kick and strikes so hard the target explodes on contact.
  • Force Cannon: The ID turns into a magic circle that rains numerous energy blasts on the targets.
  • Icicle Shot: The ID rains numerous icicles on the target to deal massive damage.
  • Blizzard Breath: The ID breathes out a chilling wind that freezes the enemies on the spot and shatters them instantly.
  • Ignition Blow: The ID shoots out a fire ball that explodes into a flame pillar to hit anyone in the vicinity.
  • Flame Breath: The ID breathes out fire to burn anyone into crisp.

  • Time Stop: The ID stops time across the entire world to render the foes immobilized.
