Introduction
This page will cover Instant Death's Terminology and Cosmology. The page only covers relevant information about the practicality of cosmology overall.
If any new information is acquired, this page will likely be updated. Any significant changes to this page must first be accepted in a Content Revision Thread, and all additions must have supporting evidence. Also, references are obligated to be added here to make everything transparent and clear.
The series is originally made in Japanese, and all translations on this page will be from official ones. MTL usage is only exception if there are no controversial issues within it.
Regarding Canonicity
Nee-chan no Chuunibyo (My Big Sister Live in Fantasy World) and Instant death are confirmed to share the same verse mechanics, setting and canonicity.
He also mentioned it once again that the plot of the series of instant death is linked Nee-chan no Chuunibyo on Twitter
“ | しかし即死チートは「姉ちゃんは中二病」の設定を踏襲してるので、実質「姉ちゃんは中二病」のアニメ化と言っても過言ではないのでは?(過言です
However, the instant death cheat follows the setting of 'Sis is a Chuunibyou', so it would not be an exaggeration to say that this is in fact an anime adaptation of 'Sis is a Chuunibyou'? (It's an exaggeration. |
„ |
~ Official Twitter from the Author |
And one more supporting evidence for the same setting similarity between both series is Tomochika Dannoura's sister, Chiharu Dannoura appear in Neechan wa Chuunibyou
“ | “You are Chiharu...right?”
Maybe she had been summoned to this world as well? Or had she died, and this was her ghost? Either case seemed equally likely. And how had she learned to float in the air that way? Her sister, Chiharu Dannoura, was an existence that defied common sense. |
„ |
~ Volume 1; Chapter 15 (Instant Death) |
“ | “My art is Dannoura Archery!” Chiharu declared. “The invincible form of archery founded by Nasu no Yoichi, specialized for close-range combat! Yuichi Sakaki, you are the perfect test target to establish my skill level!”
Yuichi didn’t know much about it, but he did know there were forms of archery that specialized in close combat. It was an Uchine-jutsu technique that allowed the user to use their bow as a spear. This allowed archers to protect themselves on the battlefield after they ran out of arrows. There was a weapon called a hazuyari that involved a spear tip being applied to the nock of the bow. |
„ |
~ Volume 5; Chapter 3 (Nee-Chan) |
Lastly, there is an afterword from the author that also explains that both series share the same connection.
“ | For a bit of behind-the-scenes info, the plot of this series is linked in some ways to that of “My Big Sister Lives In a Fantasy World,” published by HJ Bunko. A few of the characters are related. If you haven’t read that series, it won’t affect your enjoyment of this one, though. It’s really just me playing around a bit, so if you are interested, please feel free to read that series as well. | „ |
~ Volume 4; Afterword |
In conclusion, it is unadventurous to say that both series share the same setting, consequently both can be used for cosmological resolutenesses.
Differences between Web Novel and Light Novel
There are no divergences regarding the plot between Light Novel and Webnovel, with exception to improvement and better clarification.

Terminology
Celestial Foundations
The Celestial Foundation contains universes/timelines, and thus it can be said the world or the universe itself. Many characters refer to it as “World”.
“ |
Foundation Eater. Her true form is large enough to swallow a Celestial Foundation (universe) whole. Although she originally ate entire worlds all at once, after hundreds of years, she has come to develop a preference for certain flavors. |
„ |
~ Volume 8 Chapter 5 |
“ |
In simple terms, a Celestial Foundation is the vessel for a world, and could be considered the world in and of itself. On top of these foundations are placed the numerous things making up that world, and that is where intelligent life forms live. This is of course on a conceptual level, so, for example, in the world that Yogiri and Tomochika originally came from, one can say that space was laid on top of that foundation. In the world they are currently in, the land and sea are laid directly on top of the foundation instead. In short, the Celestial Foundation is what an observer would refer to as the base of the world. |
„ |
~ Volume 3; Chapter 3 |
Celestial Foundation Eaters
Celestial Foundation Eaters are a species of cosmic beings that swim through the Celestial Foundation Sea. They are large enough to dwarf entire Celestial Foundations and constantly eat those for nourishment, but also for consumption of knowledge and raw information derived from them.
“ |
They are creatures inhabiting the Sea, also referred to as “Deep Sea Fish.” They can move freely throughout the Sea, and feed off the foundations. In short, they are beings that eat worlds. |
„ |
~ Volume 3; Chapter 3 |

Foundation Eater. Her true form is large enough to swallow a Celestial Foundation (universe) whole. Although she originally ate entire worlds all at once, after hundreds of years, she has come to develop a preference for certain flavors. |
„ |
~ Volume 8 Chapter 5 |
In most worlds without higher level intelligence, like gods, the inhabitants have no way to perceive Celestial Foundation Eaters. The worlds the Celestial Foundation Eater consumes are immediately destroyed all at once. As for the victims of the digested Celestial Foundation, their existence ends without warning.
“ |
For some worlds with higher-level intelligences like gods, the situation is different, but in most cases the residents of those worlds have no way of perceiving the Foundation Eaters. The worlds those creatures consume are immediately destroyed, broken down, and digested all at once. For the unfortunate residents, it is like existence itself simply stops without warning. |
„ |
~ Volume 3; Chapter 3 |
Celestial Foundation Eaters behave like fish and resemble fish. They swim around the sea and eat the Celestial Foundations they come across. If they are met with resistance, they will fight, but will run away if they feel they can't win or if it isn't worth the trouble.
“ |
The behavior of the Foundation Eaters is also easy enough to predict. They swim around in the Sea, and if they happen upon a foundation, they eat it. If they meet with any resistance, they will fight, but if they feel they can’t win or that it’s not worth the trouble, they will run away. |
„ |
~ Volume 3; Chapter 3 |
Over the course of eternity, they devoured countless celestial foundations. A small number of Celestial Foundation Eaters awaken to a more advanced level of intelligence. Due to their newly acquired intelligence, they become sentient and self-aware, and find the sea to be boring due to their newfound senses. In order to amuse themselves, the Celestial Foundation Eaters venture into the Celestial Foundation.
“ |
While that is the limit of their instincts, in the vast span of eternity, a small number of them have managed to awaken a greater level of intelligence within themselves. Once that happens, their behavior becomes much more idiosyncratic, but in the end they always try to make contact with the intelligences within the foundations themselves. For such self-aware creatures, the Sea is a place of endless boredom. |
„ |
~ Volume 3; Chapter 3 |
“ |
A Foundation Eater that had acquired sentience made its way into a Celestial Foundation. The foundation was covered in a solid shell known as a canopy, but for a Foundation Eater who had consumed countless worlds along with their canopies, opening a small hole through which to infiltrate was easy. There was no reason in particular it had picked this foundation. It had just happened to be the closest option at the time. The Foundation Eater’s objective was to observe intelligent life', and as a general rule, all Celestial Foundations housed such life.' |
„ |
~ Volume 3; Chapter 10 |
A Celestial Foundation Eater infiltrated the Celestial Foundation by creating a vessel to enter the world. There, he took pleasure in creating chaos and raging wars for his entertainment.
“ |
It didn’t need to start as a child again, either. Creating a suitable body to serve as its vessel, the Foundation Eater entered the world once more. Everything went exactly as it desired. At first, it wreaked destruction and killed everyone in its path, but that was only interesting for a short while. It was effectively like having no enemies at all. After living that way for some time, it grew bored again. So it next took an interest in ruling over and controlling the lives of others. Ruling was simple. When it revealed its power to the people of the world, they bowed down before him of their own accord. So the Foundation Eater organized its followers into an army. That was truly entertaining. War became the greatest pleasure it had ever known. Creating an army, conquering cities, and conscripting new soldiers to fight, it wasn’t long before it had taken over an entire country. That was not thanks to any talent for warfare that it possessed, though — while it generally allowed its armies to fight on their own, if it seemed they might lose, it would step in and exercise its power like a god. |

Cosmology
Celestial Foundations
Celestial Foundations is the universe itself. It contains many things that make up the world, including but not limited to Timelines/Parallel Worlds, Alternate Dimension, the Abyss, Pocket Dimensions, etc.
Parallel Worlds/Timelines
The Celestial Foundation is capable of containing multiple space-time continuums (Timelines) simultaneously. Whenever Darian died, his soul was able to travel back in time. Every time he travelled back to the past because of his death, it created an entirely different timeline.
“ |
"What was that?! Why did Lord Darian do that?!” “I heard something once! I heard that when Lord Darian is on the verge of death, he can move back through time!” “Th-Then he’s going to come back to save us, right?!” “That’s right. Right, Jolt?!” Everyone looked to their vice-captain. Although each of them had unbelievable powers of their own, they had relied on Darian for too long. It didn’t even occur to them to use their own abilities. “No, that’s not what Lord Darian’s power is.” It was only speculation based on what Jolt had heard and witnessed so far, but Darian’s ability to go back in time only activated after his death, so it served as a final desperate gambit. It was something like sending his soul back in time, so whatever changes he made back then wouldn’t affect the present, as if he were branching off into an entirely different timeline. Darian himself would be able to do things over, but that wouldn’t help the rest of them now. In short, their leader had abandoned them to save himself. “No matter what Lord Darian does in the past, it won’t affect us anymore!” he continued. |
„ |
~ Volume 5; Chapter 8 |
The timelines exist simultaneously, since the main timeline where Darian fled from Yogiri didn't cease to exist, or get rewritten when Darian returned to the past.
“ |
Darian began to laugh hysterically as he lifted a finger to the side of his head. “Hey, what are you—” Getting a bad feeling about it, Yogiri tried to stop him. But what could he have done to prevent it? With a loud bang, the prince’s head exploded. His body flopped forward onto the ground, prompting the Invincible Battalion to turn and flee. “What?! Why did he do that?!” cried Tomochika. Aren’t you going to make a comment like, “Oh please, as if you’re just a high school student!” or something? “Of course not!” “I really wanted to avoid that,” muttered Yogiri. It was hardly the desired result, but they had technically gotten what they’d asked for, so things had more or less worked out in the end. The impact of dying had left Darian in a state of shock. It was normal. His senses were always in a state of chaos afterwards, like the inside of his head had been scrambled. His vision was filled with wildly vivid colors, his hearing overwhelmed by white noise. A nauseating smell assaulted his nose, and it felt like something was seeping into his body through each and every pore. The feeling of drowning in this chaotic mess was a side effect of traveling through time. What was that? He had no idea what he had just seen. But now that he knew such a being existed, it didn’t matter. All he had to do was avoid it next time. It wasn’t something any human could hope to challenge. He knew that no matter how many times he tried, he would always lose. His churning senses finally settled, and he found himself back in bed. It was night. If he had to go back and do things over, this was the best time to re-emerge. He had until morning to consider the situation that had caused his death, thereby minimizing his own disorder and reducing the chance that others would notice. Darian opened his eyes. First he needed to know how far back he’d gone. And then their eyes met. Darian screamed, sparing no thought for appearances. He should have escaped, but still he was being watched by countless eyes. “No, that’s wrong! This time should have been before I ever met him!” He suddenly realized something. Rather, he was forced to notice. He had indeed returned to the past, but the eyes were still there. That could mean only one thing: those eyes had existed everywhere, right from the start. |
„ |
~ Volume 5; chapter 7 |
In conclusion, this new timeline is created when Darian kills himself in order to get away from Yogiri. However, the action he took in the past did not change the future. It created a new timeline that existed simultaneously with the main timeline, where he had killed himself. This effectively shows that the Celestial Foundation is capable of containing multiple space-times physically at the same time.
Countless Parallel Worlds/Timelines
There are numerous parallel worlds inside the Celestial Foundation.
“ |
“Your strength stems from connecting to yourself in numerous parallel worlds, does it not? That makes your power next to infinite. Even if you died here, that would be like no more than losing a single hair. I was able to understand that much, so I killed you in all of those parallel worlds as well.” |
„ |
~ Volume 11 Chapter 12 |
The UEG noted that man's ability to connect with his parallel world selves is "next to infinite." This "next to infinite" refers to his inability to die so long as his parallel world selves are extant, so we can conclude that the number of parallel worlds containing other versions of himself is close to infinite.
Random Walk Ability
It is a power that sends your soul to a parallel world with different possibility whenever the user dies.
“ |
“Huh? What? Didn’t Rick kill you? Oh right, I went back in time.” “This isn’t your Random Walk. That just sends your soul to a parallel world with different possibilities. What happened this time is a much bigger deal. It was like the whole world was rewound or something.” “Sure, but isn’t it weird for you to show up now?” “Yeah. Normally, I wouldn’t show up until later. But for people like me who got erased by the rewind, there was a waiting room for us to sit in until our time to show up came.” |
„ |
~ Volume 12 Chapter 10 |
“ |
“Whatever you like. You’ve been given this power, so why don’t you use it to enjoy your life in this world?” “You mean Random Walk? The situation is totally different each time, so any knowledge I gain is basically useless. Like this time, the people I’m with are completely different from before.” |
„ |
~ Volume 2; Chapter 10 |
Whenever Lynel dies, his soul will be sent to a parallel universe with different possibilities to ensure his survival. Later in volume 12, Lynel confirms he has experienced Random Walk countless times. This would imply that he has been sent to countless parallel universes/timelines.
“ |
The next thing Lynel knew, he was standing among ruins—not some run-down wooden shack, but a decrepit stone building overflowing with history. For a moment, he was confused, but he recovered surprisingly quickly. Lynel had experienced a similar thing countless times before through his Random Walk ability. |
„ |
~ Volume 12 Chapter 10 |
In conclusion, both Lynel's and UEG's statements confirm the existence of countless parallel worlds inside a single Celestial Foundation.
The Abyss
Referred to as the “Astral Plane”, The “Spirit World” is a world in a different dimension that contains three spatial dimensional axises and an additional dimension.
“ |
It was, in a literal sense, a world in a different dimension. Call it the Astral Plane, the Spirit World, or the Abyss. It went by any number of names, but to put it into simple terms, it was a world where length, width, and height were supplemented with an additional fourth dimension. |
„ |
~ Volume 4; Side Story: The Abyss |
It has shown that one of the ways to access higher dimension or in this case, The Abyss is to possess such an ability like The King who is to move freely between the alternate dimension and three-dimensional space (normal world). One can also access it if they are a higher level/higher dimensional being in nature. By tuning with The Abyss, it allows the King:
- To be able to go anywhere,
- To avoid any attack
- To bypass any defense of lower dimension beings/world.
Additionally, lower dimensional being or normal people (3D) in this case, Those without similar ability like the King will not be able to perceive The Abyss and unable to do anything against them. All of these show how superior higher dimension when compared to the lower dimension.
“ |
The man could move freely between that dimension and three-dimensional space. It was an incredibly powerful ability. By passing through that dimension, he could go anywhere he wished and avoid any attack. As he had demonstrated, he could even use it to bypass any sort of defense and destroy an opponent from within. On top of that, ordinary humans couldn’t perceive this dimension, making it impossible for them to fight back. |
„ |
~ Volume 4; Side story: The abyss – Page 252 |
As a world with three spatial dimensions and an additional dimension, the Abyss has many locations that overlap with three-dimensional space (the normal world), thus allowing the King to operate and interact with three-dimensional space while inside that dimension.
“ |
“Hm. Allow me to correct one misunderstanding. I cannot appear anywhere. I can only operate through places where this dimension and that one overlap. Of course, since your people have no way of telling where such places are, the fact that you are helpless against me is no different.” This man, calling himself a king, seemed to be the personification of self-centeredness. It appeared he couldn’t be satisfied without making everyone else aware of how incredible he was. |
„ |
~ Volume 4; Side story: The abyss |
“ |
Within this space, things mixed together to create a truly chaotic vision. Multiple locations overlapped, indicating where it was possible for him to interact with three-dimensional space. He searched for the lowest level of the research facility, a feat possible with his senses attuned to this additional dimension. It didn’t take much time to find it. Warping space, he approached the appropriate coordinates by drawing his desired destination closer to himself. |
„ |
~ Volume 4; Side story: The abyss |
The Abyss is part of Yogiri, and from the above shown that he can control/manipulate the alternate dimension at will, preventing them from doing anything and going anywhere, effective trapping the people within it.
“ |
“Ridiculous. What about that child makes him ‘AΩ’?” The man had no interest in such a worthless being. That said, he couldn’t ignore him, either. He stretched out a hand towards the boy. By reaching into the child’s brain and scrambling it, it would all be over. But then their eyes met. The boy was looking at him. That was impossible. There was no way he could see this dimension. No matter where he looked, from within three-dimensional space, it was impossible to see someone in the Abyss. And yet, he could tell that the boy was watching him. “Impossible. Is he also someone who can reach this place?!” The moment he wondered that, eyes appeared before him. Within this other dimension the man occupied, countless eyes suddenly opened up all around him, as if they had been waiting there closed the entire time. The man instinctively understood that they belonged to the boy, allowing him to see even in this space. And then he suddenly understood. He had only been letting them run free. This world, this alternate dimension, was all a part of that young boy. If he wished it, they would lose their freedom there. Thanks to the power he held, the man could recognize that in an instant. “Impossible! Such a power makes no sense!” But no matter how he raged, the world would not bend. In this world where he should have been able to swim around freely, he had been frozen solid. He couldn’t so much as move a finger now. “No...what do you plan on doing with me?!” Despite the man’s ragged shout, the boy didn’t seem interested in doing anything at all. He wasn’t paying any attention to him anymore. He was just going to leave him there. The man would be trapped, able to do nothing but watch the world pass him by as he slowly starved to death. |
„ |
~ Volume 4; Side story: The Abyss – Page 252 |
The Sea
The Sea is an infinite space that encompasses all Celestial Foundations. Although the sea contains countless numbers of themm, it is likely that there are infinite numbers of celestial foundations as the sea could theoretically contain an infinite number of them since its size is infinite compared to the countless number of celestial foundations we currently know it holds.
“ |
There are countless Celestial Foundations, all floating in a space known as the “Sea.” The individual foundations are like bubbles in this Sea. |
„ |
~ Volume 3; Chapter 3 |
“ |
The canopy separated the world from the infinite space known as the “Sea.” With that canopy gone, the rest of the world easily collapsed. The world was frail and couldn’t bear the harsh environment of the Sea. |
„ |
~ Volume 13; Chapter 9 |
In addition, the foundations are structured in a stacked, abstract vertical hierarchy. The energy flows from the top to bottom, and due to that, one needs a tremendous amount of power to transfer from a lower world to a higher world.
“ |
By the way, as we are comparing it to the ocean, the Sea also has a depth. If foundations are at the same relative depth, traveling between them is simple. Moving to a foundation at a lower depth is even easier, but moving up in the Sea is much more difficult. Doing so requires an enormous amount of energy. That is one of the reasons it is not so easy for Yogiri and Tomochika to return to their own world. |
„ |
~ Volume 3; Chapter 3 |
Higher Universes
The higher universes are dimensions that exist beyond the Sea. According to UEG, these higher universes are implied to be more higher-dimensional than the Sea. It is also suggested that each higher universe is contained within a larger higher universe, and so on, with each higher universe representing a higher dimension that encompasses lower dimensions and is significantly larger than the previous one. Kouryu (who is nigh-omniscient) implied that this universe-embedding hierarchy is endless.
“ |
They were in a sea of stars. It was not the “sea” that contained the celestial foundations that housed their worlds, but a different space ruled by different laws. It was a universe beginning with a big bang. It was a world where planets revolved around stars, stars gathered into constellations, constellations mixed with nebulae to form galaxies, galaxies came together to make up clusters, and clusters were organized into superclusters. That was the kind of world it was. “You seem to be a higher-level being than I first thought. I did not expect something like this,” the UEG called out to him. |
„ |
~ Volume 10; Chapter 19 |
“ |
「お主、思ったよりも高次元な存在であったな。まさかここまでとは思っておらなんだ」 "You are much more of a higher-dimensional being than I thought. I did not expect something like this." |
„ |
~ Raws of Volume 10 Chapter 19 |
“ |
Touichirou headed to a universe governed by entirely different laws and immediately erased the one he had just come from along with all the parallel universes connected to it. “Honestly...I fail to understand what you are attempting to do in destroying all the parallel universes like that.” The UEG appeared behind him, calm and composed. “I don’t want to hear that from you.” She had followed him from an entirely different world first, so it was no surprise she could follow him here as well. Now what would follow would be even greater tragedy. They would both leap between universes, trying to predict their opponent’s moves and erase their destination before they made it there. They would attempt to jump out of the dimensional space occupied by their opponent and destroy it from the outside. As they did, their opponent would jump to an even higher level universe and attempt the same thing. There should have been no end to the cycle, but suddenly there was. Touichirou’s attack had erased the universe containing the UEG. “Is it over?” They had erased numerous universes. He was naturally exhausted at this point and was starting to feel fed up with the whole situation. |
„ |
~ Touichiro in the middle of battle with the UEG (Volume 10; Chapter 19) |
“ |
There really was nothing here. Finally realizing it, she started to feel the beginnings of fear. No matter where she went, there was nothing. Beyond that, she couldn’t teleport. “I-In that case, I will incinerate everything! Time! Space! The universe itself! The higher-level universe that encompasses this one!” The UEG unleashed her power in full force. But that power, which should have annihilated everything, vanished into the darkness. It hadn’t made the slightest change in her surroundings. |
„ |
~ UEG trying to destroy everything (Volume 11; Chapter 21) |
“ |
The UEG couldn’t accept the words he was saying. They were incomprehensible to someone like her, who believed herself to be the most powerful being in existence. “Some of us believe in a theory like this: There are universes contained inside larger universes and so on. Why has that total collection of universes survived? If space and time are infinite, then there is a possibility that eventually an ultimate being would emerge, one that could wipe out all universes on a whim. If the possibility isn’t zero, then given infinite time, it is guaranteed to happen. But it hasn’t. From what we’ve been able to observe, once gods reach a certain threshold of power, they disappear. So there must be someone out there erasing them, right? There must be some sort of limit or criteria being applied.” |
„ |
~ Kouryuu to the UEG before she met her demise to The END (Volume 11; Chapter 21) |
Ultimate Ensemble
The Ultimate Ensemble is the totality of existence, the collectivity of all worlds, including the Sea and the space beyond that (the hierarchy of higher universes). It contains worlds with different fundamental laws each, which are also nested within each other (further confirming the status of the hierarchy of the Higher Universes):
“ |
Worlds existed within Celestial Foundations, and these Foundations existed within the "sea". The sea was enormous, containing countless such Foundations, but it was not hard to imagine the existence of worlds outside of it. There were worlds, the space outside them, and another place beyond all of that. Worlds with different fundamental laws all existed nested within each other. That was apparently the structure of the universe. "Apparently", because it was impossible to observe the entire thing. That said, there were some who treated this as all that existed, since it comprised the entirety of the territory perceptible to the most intelligent life forms on these worlds. For convenience, the term "Ultimate Ensemble World" referred to this collection of worlds. Many of them followed similar laws, while many more followed entirely different ones. |
„ |
~ Volume 14 Chapter 9 |
For reference, the kanji used for Ultimate Ensemble in the novel is the same used for when one actually refers to Tegmark's Ultimate Ensemble.
The End
Also known as Yogiri's true self, it is the end of all things.
An embodiment of nonexistence that overcomes all others, and from which everything returns to after their end/deaths, of which there is nothing beyond, not even Fate and Plot itself, as those are also equally terminated in front of this calamity.
“ |
It was a dead end. The inevitable destination of all fates, beyond which there was nothing. The end of all things in human form. An embodiment of nonexistence that would overcome all others, something that no one could ever hope to surpass. Before this thing, the machinations of Fate were nothing more than a crude joke. |
„ |
~ Volume 2 Chapter 22 |
Jnovel translations omitted parts of the quote above, since we can actually see the term "Plot" be used in the LN raws:
“ |
そんな者を相手に、運命だの、筋書きだの戯れ言にもならない。それは戦おうと考えることすら馬鹿らしい存在だ Against such a person, there is no such thing as destiny, no such thing as plot. It is an existence against which it is foolish to even think of fighting. |
„ |
~ Volume 2 Chapter 22 |
Kouryu, an extremely knowledgeable god in regard to the cosmology of the multiverse (and nigh-omniscient), compared Yogiri to a natural limiter of reality, in which it is the inevitable end of the line that puts in check whatever god or entity that tries to destroy all the creation, ensuring its safety and balance, even if indirectly. It is also omnipresent across all the space and time.
“ |
“Some of us believe in a theory like this: There are universes contained inside larger universes and so on. Why has that total collection of universes survived? If space and time are infinite, then there is a possibility that eventually an ultimate being would emerge, one that could wipe out all universes on a whim. If the possibility isn’t zero, then given infinite time, it is guaranteed to happen. But it hasn’t. From what we’ve been able to observe, once gods reach a certain threshold of power, they disappear. "Aaaaaaaaaaah" Ditching all dignity, Darian screamed at the top of his lungs. He should have been able to escape it, but countless eyes were gazing at him. "T-thats weird! This should be the time before I met that thing! And then he noticed. He was being noticed as well. Certainly, he went back in time. But the eyes were still there. Then the answer was simple. They had existed in all space and time since the beginning. |

Notes
Regarding Celestial Foundations and Heavenly Records Names
- The Celestial Foundation, also known as Heavenly Record in its original Japanese version, is a term that refers to a cosmological structure in the series. Upon translation and publication by Jnovel in English, the term was officially rendered as Celestial Foundation. While the latter term is more commonly utilized in verse discussions, it should be noted that Heavenly Record is also a valid designation for the concept in question, as it represents the same object within the narrative context.
Abbreviations
- UEG stands for Ultimate Extermination God; a character in instant death who is nigh-omniscient and an existence that transcends most, if not all, the Gods hierarchically. For more information, visits her profile. Her statements fall under option 3 and can be utilized for cosmological purposes.
Regarding “Higher Universes” name
- In Jnovel translation, it is translated to “Higher Level Universes”
- In Raw version, it is “Higher Universes”
Fate and Plot terms
- In Jnovel translation, the translator, for some reason, omits the term “Plot”
- In Raw version of Web Novel, Light Novel, and Manga, the term “Plot” is evident.
The plot term is separated when Aoi Hayanose describes that fate/destiny, plot, and the like as being a joke to Yogiri's true form.
The terms used above on each scan:
It should be noted that both terms are used distinguishable in the context.
