Hunting Horror Final
"And in the air about him were great viperine creatures, which had curiously distorted heads, and grotesquely great clawed appendages, supporting themselves with ease by the aid of black rubbery wings of singularly monstrous dimensions."
~ Description of the Hunting Horrors appearance.

The Hunting Horrors are the vicious servants of the Crawling Chaos, sent to do its bidding when the god does not feel like doing the task itself. The writhing beings are said to constantly shift form, making them hard to even look upon. The Horrors prefer darkness, as they are dispelled by light. It is said a strong enough burst of light could sear one to dust, but so far, nothing has ever done so save for an attack from Nodens. Hunting horrors act as foils to Nodens' Nightgaunts.
