Summary
Hero is a supporting character of the RPGmaker game OMORI. He's a friend of Omori, and often serves as a mediator for the arguments between Aubrey and his brother, Kel. Charismatic and kind, Hero is the oldest member of the main party, and is often portrayed as the most responsible.

In truth, the above description applies to the Headspace visage of Hero. His role in Sunny's life is quite similar in the real world as his role in Omori's life in headspace, serving as the peacemaker and guide for his younger brother and friends throughout their time together. He was particularly close to Mari, having a flirtatious, possibly romantic relationship with the girl. Like the others, he was deeply impacted by her apparent suicide, falling into a reclusive depression that lasted for almost a year. While he eventually was able to recover with his brothers help, he still thinks about Mari every day. He eventually leaves Faraway Town, immersing himself in his studies as he heads off to college, leaving his childhood friends to grieve in their own way.
Hero eventually returns to Faraway Town during the summer, two days before Sunny is slated to move away. After saving Sunny and Basil from nearly drowning, he helps Sunny and Kel reconnect with Audrey, thus restoring the friendship that had been lost after Mari's death. Together, they spend the remaining days together, before Sunny moves away. |

- Social Influencing (Is noted to be very charismatic, allowing him to convince others to assist the party and receive discounts at shops[2]. Skills like SMILE, CHARM, CAPTIVATE, ENCHANT, MEMSERMIZE, and DAZZLE all revolve around Hero using his charisma to affect a target in-combat)
- Creation & Healing (Can use certain SKILLS to instantly create food, which can be used to heal himself or allies, and restore their JUICE. Can also create food that damages enemies via SPICY FOOD)
- Empathic Manipulation & Status Effect Inducement (Can cause enemies to become HAPPY with skills like SMILE and ENCHANT. Happy increases one's critical hit chance and speed, but reduces accuracy. - DAZZLE: Hero dazzles all foes, reducing their attack and making them HAPPY.
- SNACK TIME: Hero makes snakes for everyone in the party, restoring 40% of their health.
- TEA TIME: Hero brings out some tea for himself or one of his allies, causing them to feel refreshed. This heals 30% of their health, and 20% of their JUICE.
- SPICY FOOD: Hero cooks some spicy food for an enemy, damaging them and making them ANGRY.
- REFRESH: Hero makes refreshments for himself or one of his allies, restoring 40% of their JUICE.
- TENDERIZE: Hero intensely massages a target, dealing heavy damage and decreasing their defense.
- GATOR AID: Hero and his allies receive encouragement from a friend, increasing their defense.
- THROW MONEY: Bossman Hero throws a bag of CLAMS at a single foe, dealing damage.
- FLING MONEY: Bossman Hero flings numerous CLAMS at all foes, dealing damage.
Contracts: In addition to the above skills, Bossman Hero will periodically offer contracts to the foe(s) he is fighting, offering them a variety of effects at the cost of another effect also occurring. Should none of his foes sign the contract, it is possible for his allies to sign one instead, gaining the benefits and drawbacks. Below are a list of possible effects listed in his contracts.
- Heal All: Bossman Hero either completely heals the health of his foes, or completely restores the health and JUICE of his friends, depending on the contract.
- Buff Stats: Bossman Hero increases the attack, defense and speed of either his friends or foes, depending on the contract.
- Debuff Stats: Bossman Hero decreases the attack, defense and speed of either his friends or foes, depending on the contract.
- Make Happy: Bossman Hero causes all of his friends, or all of his foes, to become HAPPY.
- Make Sad: BOssman Hero causes all of his friends, or all of his foes, to become SAD.
- Make Angry: Bossman Hero causes all of his friends, or all of his foes, to become ANGRY.
- Crit 100%: Bossman Hero helps his friends or foes focus, guaranteeing that their next attack will be a critical hit.
- Damage Friend/Foes: Bossman Hero inflicts heavy damage onto his friend/foes, decreasing their health and JUICE.
- Pizza Party: Bossman Hero throws a PIZZA PARTY, healing all of his allies. Depending on the contract, he may instead choose to give his opponents 10 whole pizza's, allowing them to restore their health.
EMOTION: Several of Hero's skills and items are capable of inflicting himself or others with EMOTION, status effects that change their behavior, and confer a variety of positive and negative effects. A person inflicted by EMOTION may take more or less damage, depending on the EMOTION that their opponent is inflicted with[6]. Emotions can stack onto a target up to three times, with each instance of a single EMOTION increasing it's strength and weaknesses. Only a single EMOTION can be experienced at any given time.
Foes inflicted with HAPPY have increased luck and speed, but suffer from a decrease in accuracy. When a friend or foe becomes more HAPPY, they become ECSTATIC, and subsequently MANIC. A person inflicted with HAPPY deals more damage to ANGRY foes, but less damage to SAD foes.
Foes inflicted with SAD have increase defense, but decreased speed. Additionally part of the damage they take is converted into JUICE, causing them to take less damage, but draining their JUICE proportionally. When a friend or foe becomes more SAD, they become DEPRESSED, and subsequently MISERABLE. A person inflicted with SAD deals more damage to HAPPY foes, but less damage to ANGRY foes.
Foes inflicted with ANGRY have increased attack, but decreased defense. When a friend or foe becomes more ANGRY, they become ENRAGED, and subsequently FURIOUS. A person inflicted with ANGRY deals more damage to SAD foes, but less damage to HAPPY foes.
