Captain Hector Barbossa is a treacherous pirate and one of the main characters in Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean series. He first appeared as the primary antagonist of Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. After his death, Barbossa was revived by the end of Dead Man's Chest and has appeared in At World's End, On Stranger Tides and in Dead Men Tell No Tales as a supporting protagonist.
