Summary
Hades is the sadistic God of the Underworld and the true antagonist of Kid Icarus: Uprising. A callous god who loves nothing more than to bask in the pain and misery of others, he revived Medusa and launched plans to take over all the realms, using the souls of those who fell in battle to create more and more minions for his Underworld Army as the war goes on.

- Optional Equipment: His Devastation Ensemble, a special armor he only wears for "special occasions" like weddings, Armageddons, and fighting Pit in duels to the death. It comes equipped with various weapons such as face guns and warts that shoot energy blasts, flower like objects that shoot continues laser beams and a tool that can generate a forcefield, and a giant drill.[1]
Intelligence: Gifted. Hades is a cunning manipulator, initially working from the shadows and using Medusa as his puppet[13] before taking action himself, quickly coming up with a scheme that had him tricking humanity into believing that an item called the Wish Seed existed so that they'd go to war and slaughter each other over it, giving him more souls to use in order to grow his army.[8]
Weaknesses: Hades is incredibly nonchalant, often never taking anything, including battles, seriously and holding back due to his own arrogance and sadism. If he's fighting in the Underworld he'll refuse to go all out due to not wanting to cause too much damage to his own realm, and because of the number of souls needed to fuel it he takes damage during his regeneration process[12]
