Heaven or Hell? Duel 1: LET'S ROCK!
~ Match opening

Guilty Gear is a series of fighting games by Arc System Works and designed by artist Daisuke Ishiwatari. It's known for its detailed anime-style graphics, original characters, hard rock/heavy metal soundtrack, unique fighting mechanic such as OHKO attacks, and its numerous references to rock and heavy metal music.

The story takes place in the 21st century, where three scientists pioneered the Gear project which is meant to advance human evolution, however the “Gears” are used as weapons instead. Justice, the first complete Gear commanded her brethren to wipe humankind, starting with Japan. The world is thrust into a war that lasted a century. The Holy Knights were formed and was led by Kliff to battle the Gears. Sol Badguy joins the Order but deserts it, stealing it’s precious Fireseal sword. Ky Kiske, a 16 year old boy was made commander of the knights and led a mission to seal away Justice.

Here is the more in depth analysis of the series.

Power of the Verse

Guilty Gear is a very powerful verse, with many of the characters being Relativistic+ speeds with Multi-Continent+ attack power, while the strongest are Universe busters, and all of whom have Massively FTL+ speeds by being trillions of times greater than that of light with possibly Immeasurable for moving in Underworld Hill, a dimension beyond time itself.

They also have a great amount of hax, including Time Manipulation, various forms of BFR, mass Teleportation, various forms of Soul Manipulation and Mind Manipulation (Of which the many of the strongest characters have great resistance to), TransmutationExistence ErasureDeconstruction, and a variety of others.
