Summary
The Grid Core is the main antagonist and final boss of Ape Escape: Pumped and Primed. He is a computer virus that wishes to take over the world and prompted the Pipotrons in looking for the data disk Helga's father developed in order to achieve this, betraying them right after he obtained it. He held a Virus Tournament with the competitors' lives on the line for his own amusement before deciding to kill them himself and was then defeated. He returned in Ape Escape: Million Monkeys where he was modified by a scientist named Nazo and unleashed an army of Virus Casi.
