Golden Freddy is a mysterious character that appears in the first and second games of the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise, appearing as a rare Easter Egg first made truly widespread to the masses by Markiplier during his playthrough of Five Nights at Freddy's 1[1]
Golden Freddy appeared in Night 6 and 7 of its sequel; Five Nights at Freddy's 2[2] where he was considered the second most dangerous enemy besides the Puppet.[2]

Name: Golden Freddy, "Yellow Bear", Fredbear
Origin: Five Nights At Freddy's

Classification: Ghost child, possessed bear suit
Powers and Abilities:
- Superhuman Physical Characteristics
- Remnant Physiology (High-Tier)
- Inorganic Physiology (Type 1 - Is a possessed animatronic)
- Immortality (Type 2 - Should be comparable to Bonnie, who can operate his head while it is separate from his body)
- Enhanced Senses (Despite lacking eyes, Golden Freddy can still see Fritz Smith and attack him. Should have comparable hearing to Foxy, who could hear Ralph's hold on the stall door knob and could hear him in the bathroom from Pirate Cove)
- Stealth Mastery (Should be comparable to the Classic Animatronics in this regard)
- Flight (Can float as a giant head[2])
- Teleportation (Teleports into the office[1] twice[2])
- Shapeshifting (Can become a giant head[2])
- Technology Manipulation (Could cause Ralph's phone to short out and could play a voice recording of the Big Bite on the office phone)
- Perception Manipulation (Caused Ralph to hear children's laughter that he still heard even after he covered his ears. Likely the force behind which Ralph could hear whispers and singing from an empty stall)
- Mind Manipulation, Pain Manipulation, and Durability Negation (Assaulted Ralph's mind by flooding his thoughts with "IT'S ME", causing him to see, feel, and hear the words. This caused Ralph to experience excruciating pain from the sheer weight of Golden Freddy's mind that rendered him nearly unable to think until he suddenly heard Bronwen Light's voice reassuring him that his daughter would be safe, causing him to die immediately afterwards)
- Dream Manipulation (Likely caused Ralph to dream of someone stuffed into a suit)
- Telekinesis (May have used telekinesis to write "IT'S ME" on the door of a bathroom stall)
- Superhuman Physical Characteristics
- Immortality (Types 1, 2 & 8 - Characters frequently talk of torturing the player for eternity.[3] Comparable to Foxy who can literally tear himself limb from limb with no ill effects.[3] Animatronics can be brought back by The One You Shouldn't Have Killed after being erased by the Death Coin[3])
- Inorganic Physiology (Type 2 - Created by The One You Shouldn't Have Killed to torture William Afton)
- Enhanced Senses (Despite lacking eyes, Golden Freddy can still see William and attack him)
- Levitation (Can float as a head[3])
- Teleportation (Teleports into the office[3])
Resistance to:
- Temperature Manipulation (Is unaffected by the Heater, which can cause animatronics to glitch out and malfunction[3])
- Death Manipulation (Utilizing the Death Coin on it makes it take the form of Fredbear)
- Superhuman Physical Characteristics
- Remnant Physiology (Low-Tier)
- Inorganic Physiology (Type 1 - The fact that it can feed on remnant[4] implies some type of possession of it)
- Body Control (His head can move independently of his body.[4] Drops his limbs while mimicking Mangle[4])
- Stealth Mastery (Can sneak across entire continents without being heard[4])
- Invisibility (Via Cloaking, which makes him completely invisible to everything but cameras which static up[4])
- Illusion Creation or Teleportation via Fake-outs (If the animatronics do not decloak during charges, only their eyes appear, and they vanish after reaching the player[4])
- Technology Manipulation (The player's phone produces static when hovering over the animatronic's location. Can cause the phone to glitch out temporarily with Interference, and can preform Haywires[4])
- Teleportation/BFR (Teleports when the player attempts to shock them.[4] Can have the Plushtrap CPU, which brings The Player to a new location altogether when encountered[4])
- Levitation (Can float as a head[4])
- Illusion Creation (Can create images of "It's Me"[4])
- Power Mimicry (Can mimic the attack patterns and unique abilities of Bare Endo, Freddy Fazbear, Foxy, Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica, Mangle, Balloon Boy, Springtrap, Circus Baby, or Ballora[4])
- Battery Drain (Drains the player's battery while mimicking Toy Freddy[4])
- Enhanced Senses (Attacks if the opponent moves too much or makes too much noise while mimicking Ballora[4])
Resistance to:
- Electricity Manipulation (Via returning despite being majorly shocked which disables most electronics instantly[4])
Attack Potency: At least Street level, possibly Wall level (Can kill the player, Jeremy Fitzgerald and Fritz Smith physically,[2] similarly to the other animatronics,[2] Comparable to its unpossessed version), higher with bite (Its unpossessed version completely crushed a child's head with zero ill effects to itself.[5] Golden Freddy reenacted this feat years later on Ralph) | At least Street level, possibly Wall level (Can easily kill the protagonist, and is comparable to other UCN animatronics who can damage skulls and rip humans apart[3]) | Street level, possibly Wall level (Was built to be as similar to the original as possible.[4] Comparable to Springtrap[4]), higher with bite (Its unpossessed version completely crushed a child's head with zero ill effects to itself[5]), even higher with Hydropneumatic Suspension MOD
Speed: Superhuman (While seemingly preferring to be immobile, Golden Freddy can nonetheless move to physically attack others, and has proved itself through its attack in FNaF 2[2] to be comparable to the other animatronics[1]), possibly Subsonic (Possibly blitzed Mike Schmidt for its Jumpscare in FNaF 1[1]) | Subsonic (Comparable to Nightmare BB, who could move this fast) | Superhuman (Was built to be as similar to the original as possible. Can race around the player in an instant while keeping a distance), higher with Servo Boosters MOD
Lifting Strength: Class 5 (Should be comparable to the Classic Animatronics) | Class 5 (Comparable to other animatronics who can tear the Player apart. This would include ripping the limbs, and likely the head, off the body[3]) | Class 5 (Compararable to Mangle and Springtrap who can tear The Player apart[4])
Striking Strength: At least Street level, possibly Wall level | At least Street level, possibly Wall level | Street level, possibly Wall level
Durability: At least Street level, possibly Wall level (The possessed suit seemingly has a dense metal endoskeleton and can take its own attacks, such as when its unpossessed version crushed a child's skull with no ill effects to itself[5]) | At least Street level, possibly Wall level | Street level, possibly Wall level (Was built to be as similar to the original as possible, Compares to Springtrap), higher with Hydropneumatic Suspension MOD
Stamina: Superhuman (Comparable to Freddy Fazbear[2]) | Infinite (Constantly hunts down William Afton without rest as William is trapped in an endless loop of death and resurrection[3]) | Superhuman (Can tirelessly function and hunt for hours at a time[4])
Range: Below Standard Melee Range physically (In head form[2]), Standard Melee Range normally, Tens of Meters with illusions (Can seemingly affect the entire location[1]) and Teleportation (Teleports from off any cameras in order to appear in the office[1][2] or Hallway[2]) | Below Standard Melee Range physically (In head form[3]), Standard Melee Range normally, Tens of Meters with Teleportation (Teleports from off any cameras in order to appear in the office[3]) | Below Standard Melee Range physically (In head form), Standard Melee Range, likely Several Meters via Interference, Teleportation, and Illusions[4]
Standard Equipment: Top Hat, Microphone | Top Hat, Microphone, Various MODs
Intelligence: Average, likely Above Average (Should be comparable to the Classic Animatronics, who; apart from possessing basic skills such as understanding English, ending phone calls, and checking cameras; deliberately stored up their power for a week in order to escape the pizzeria, and are fully capable of placing traps and stalling for time. Can seemingly speak English, as indicated by "IT'S ME"[1] and can also clearly understand English as it could use Bronwen Light's voice to comfort Ralph as he died. Is seemingly depicted without the same animalistic awareness of the Classic Animatronics, going to the safe room in spirit form[6] rather than being lured like them) | Unknown, likely Average (Comparable to other animatronics, like Freddy Fazbear[3]) | Unknown, likely Average (Should compare to the other animatronics who can speak and understand coherent sentences and thoughts)
Weaknesses: Can be fooled by someone wearing a fake Freddy Fazbear head[2] and will disappear upon the checking of an electronic device[1][2] | Can be fooled by someone wearing a fake Freddy Fazbear head[3] and will disappear upon the checking of an electronic device[3] | None Notable
