Summary
Glacius is a playable character in the Killer Instinct series. He is an alien seemingly composed of a liquid substance, which allows him to alter his body's density and control ice. The Glacius introduced in the first game is an explorer who was wandering the galaxy in search of new life and whose spaceship was dragged down by Earth's gravitational field, resulting in a crash landing. He departed in search of the pieces necessary to repair his vehicle, but due to his trusting nature toward humans, he was soon captured by Ultratech and turned into a convict. Glacius was then forced to enter the Killer Instinct tournament in order to test Ultratech's latest creations, and eventually killed Cinder, his final opponent. After that, he retrieved the missing materials by stealing Ultratech's technology, repaired his spaceship and safely returned home without being caught by the time shift that occurred after Eyedol's death.
Killer Instinct 2, due to being set 2000 years in the past, features another Glacius, the ancestor of the one from the first game. This Glacius is an ambassador of his planet who received the task to save a scout team that was sent on Earth. Once reached the unknown planet, he was captured by the servants of Gargos and imprisoned, until the arrival of warriors from the future and the demon lord himself caused enough chaos to allow Glacius to break free from his prison. Now stranded in a hostile environment, he starts wandering the land looking for his lost kin, with enemies such as Gargos and Sabrewulf ready to halt his plans.

KI Glacius has experience as an explorer, is able to pilot his spaceship and figured out how to repair it with technology he took from Ultratech. He can also use his body properties in a creative way and managed to survive the Killer Instincti tournament, eventually winning against Cinder. KI2 Glacius works as an ambassador and was assigned with the task to save lost comrades, denoting a certain level of skill being recognized on his planet. He can use his body in several ways just like his descendant, and could fight evenly with the likes of Gargos and Sabrewulf)
Weaknesses: None notable
Note: Broadway Force comes from a technique which is supposed to be a gag, and thus it can be restricted in versus matches.
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Shockwave: Glacius punches the ground, generating an icy sphere that bounces towards the enemy. If used at close range, usually to end a combo, the opponent will be sent flying by the explosion. This attack can become a Shadow Move, enhancing its speed and strength.
- Ice Lance: Glacius turns one of his arms into a lance, striking the opponent with an uppercut.
- Cold Shoulder: Glacius dashes shoulder-first towards the opponent, useful to quickly cover the distance and start combos.
- Liquidize: Glacius melts his own body and becomes a puddle. He then can return to normal, slide over the ground or teleport to another location. With this move, he often slides forward and returns solid below the opponent, punching them with an uppercut.
- Arctic Blast: Glacius opens his palms and releases an icy sphere that travels forward. The Super version consists in a stronger projectile.
- Ice Lance: Glacius morphs his arm into a lance and uppercuts the opponent.
- Cold Shoulder: Glacius slides on the ground and rams the opponent with his shoulder.
- Liquidize: Glacius turns his body into a liquid state. With this move he can slide on the ground, avoid attacks, teleport to other location or punch the opponent upon returning normal. The Super version features Glacius delivering a flurry of uppercuts while altering his form several times.
- Icy Grip: Glacius extends his arm and enlarges his hand, clutching the opponent with it. He then drags them towards him, usually to start a combo.
- Beat Down: A Super Move. Glacius delivers a long series of low kicks in quick succession.
- Arctic Slam: A Super Move. Glacius grabs the opponent and violently slams them back and forth several times.
- Ice Pick: Glacius generates a long spike on his knuckle and stabs the opponent, freezing them to death.
- Acid Puddle: Glacius performs Liquidize and slides below the opponent, who then starts to melt until nothing remains.
- Blob Engulf: Glacius performs Liquidize and becomes an amorphous mass of liquid. He then engulfs the opponent whole and melts them until nothing remain. Due to Glacius' elastic nature, the opponent's effort to break out of the blob are useless.
- Humiliation: Glacius points his fist at the defeated opponent, who is then mysteriously forced to dance.

Humiliation
- No Mercy III: Glacius performs Icy Grip, stopping the opponent in place. After that, he releases an extremely cold air from his hands, causing the opponent to be encased in a block of ice, which then suddenly explodes and kills the opponent.
- No Mercy IV: Glacius generates an ice javelin above his head and tosses it through the opponent's midsection, killing them.
- Fighting Style: Both Glacius are mostly physical fighters, who prefer to use their arms to fight, although they include some kicks, notably aiming for the midsection or the legs with swipe kicks. KI Glacius mainly employs high punches, like hooks and uppercuts, while KI2 Glacius prefers hand swipes, headbutts and tends to use kicks slighty more often than his descendant. They mix up their combos with moves such as Cold Shoulder, Liquidize and Ice Lance, the latter combined with other weapons created with their shapeshifting powers.
- Throw: Glacius grabs the opponent with both hands and tosses them on the other side.
- Parry Move: Glacius raises his hand and blocks an incoming attack. If he follows up with a Special Move, the opponent will be stunned and left unable to react.
