“ | To unite dreams beneath a banner of conquest. I praise your efforts. But, warriors... did you not understand? That all dreams must disappear when the dreamer wakes. Every last one of them. Therefore, it was inevitable that I would stand in your way. King of Conquerors, know the end of your eternal dream. I, myself, shall show you harsh reality. | „ |

Summary
Gilgamesh (ギルガメッシュ Girugamesshu ) is the Archer-class Servant of Tokiomi Tohsaka during the Fourth Holy Grail War. After Tokiomi's death, he reforged a new pact with Kirei Kotomine that lasted until the Fifth Holy Grail War. He is the King of Heroes, the hero of the oldest epic poem in human history. He was a demigod, born from the union of King Lugalbanda and the goddess Rimat-Ninsun. The King of Heroes governed and protected Uruk from anything, eventually turning against the gods.
While in his youth, Gilgamesh was a good-hearted youngster. Nonetheless, he grew up to be a ruthless tyrant. Though Uruk's people suffered, the city prospered. Disgusted by Gilgamesh's misbehavior, the gods created Enkidu to regain control over him. For the first time in his life, Gilgamesh faced an equal. He fought Enkidu for days, even emptying his vault. After the battle ended, the two became close friends. They worked and adventured for years, battling monsters and protecting Uruk together. Later, the goddess Ishtar fell in love with him, but he rejected her. As a result, the Bull of Heaven was unleashed on Uruk.
After the seven years of devastation, Gilgamesh and Enkidu bound the beast with the Chains of Heaven and defeated it. Enraged and humiliated, Ishtar pleaded for their deaths, but only Enkidu was punished, reduced to nothing but mud. A distraught Gilgamesh cursed the gods, swearing that he would never call another his friend. Seeing his only equal perish, Gilgamesh became obsessed with his own mortality and set out on a journey to become immortal. He searched out the sage Ziusudra, an immortal who lived even before the Great Flood that had wiped out most of humankind. After decades of research, he found Ziusudra's longevity stems from being half-plant. Still, the sage told Gilgamesh about another method, a herb that would make him immortal without relying on the gods or giving up his humanity.
Gilgamesh ultimately discovered the miracle herb and, for the first time in his life, felt genuine contentment by the grand achievement. However, a snake ate the herb he had left aside carelessly during his bath. The King of Heroes laughed hysterically as he realized his journey had been for nothing. He eventually returned to Uruk, having come to terms with his mortality and limited lifespan. There, he ruled Uruk as a wise king until he finally passed.

Attack Potency: Large Island level+ (Could parry a few blows from Saber and Shirou when he was using Noble Phantasms projected with Unlimited Blade Works, and his strength is only slightly below that of Saber), Large Island level+ to Small Country level with Gate of Babylon (His highest-ranked treasures can kill Berserker and repel his axe-sword. Shattered Caster's barriers like glass. Can fire off several A Ranked Noble Phantasms. Possesses Merodach, which is more powerful than Gram, which was stated to be comparable to Excalibur[Statistics Values 1]), at least Small Country level with Enuma Elish (Destroyed Rider's Reality Marble and overpowered Excalibur), Complex Multiverse level with full power Enuma Elish (An Anti-World Noble Phantasm and "planet-creating weapon", stated to be capable of destroying the target along with the World, and had Enkidu not intervened in Fate/strange Fake, it would have destroyed the World. This would all include Avalon, residing in the core of the planet, which is a 6-dimensional realm[3][Statistics Values 2]). | Complex Multiverse level[Statistics Values 2], possibly higher (Far above the likes of BB, who had absolute authority over the Mooncell, and defeated Kiara[Statistics Values 3]), higher with Enuma Elish (Far stronger than his Base Abilities)
Speed: Relativistic+ with FTL reactions and combat speed (Kept up with Saber, Lancer, and Berserker, comparable to his Prototype self and Enkidu who possesses an A-rank in agility likely making them superior to Musashi. Piloted the Vimana, which easily outpaced a fighter jet elevated to the level of a Noble Phantasm by Lancelot's Knight of Owner. Fought against True Archer and casually deflected his arrows) | Massively FTL+ (Flew 1500 light-years in a short period and positioned himself between his Master and Kiara while flying at such speeds), with Immeasurable reactions and combat speed (Far stronger than BB and can keep up with Kiara Sessyoin)
Lifting Strength: Class M (Comparable to Martha who stopped a speeding train, Achilles who stopped a rolling 300 ton jumbo jet, Asterios who swam carrying the 100-150 ton Golden Hind galleon ship while injured, and Jeanne who can spin an entire airplane[Statistics Values 4])
Striking Strength: Large Island level+ (Comparable to his Attack Power), Large Island level+ to Small Country level with Gate of Babylon (Comparable to his Attack Power[Statistics Values 1]) | Complex Multiverse level[Statistics Values 2], possibly higher (Kiara Sessyoin and BB in close combat[Statistics Values 3])
Durability: Large Island level+ (Should be comparable to other Servants even while unarmored), higher with Armor (Can withstand attacks that would normally severely injure or even kill him such as strikes from Saber) | Complex Multiverse level[Statistics Values 2], possibly higher (Can trade blows with Kiara and survive her Noble Phantasm[Statistics Values 3])
Stamina: Superhuman (Can stay in the world without a Master for a week before being incarnated, fight against Sakura while being broken down into magical energy, can survive having his arm cut off, being stabbed in the chest by Shirou, and then being shot in the head by Archer, dying only because he was absorbed into the singularity created by the Grail. Fought against Enkidu for several days straight, ultimately expending the entirety of the Gate of Babylon)
Range: Extended Melee Range; Interdimensional with Gate of Babylon (While in New York, Gilgamesh was able to open a gate in Chaldea, although Chaldea was cut off from the time axis[2]), Kilometers (Shattered Rider's Reality Marble) to Complex Multiversal with Enuma Elish (Can destroy the World[Statistics Values 2]).
Standard Equipment: His armor, and everything within the Gate of Babylon.
Intelligence: Created to be the pinnacle of all humans, Gilgamesh is a brilliant individual, clearly seeing through deceptions and discerning any forms of magecraft with a glance. He could predict the number of weapons Shirou would project at once and counter him with an equal amount of armaments from his treasury. He immediately saw through Caster's faked death and backed away from Saber after she formed a contract with Rin. Sha Naqba Imuru also allows him to see all possible outcomes, allowing him to make the correct move and discern his opponents' true identities and Noble Phantasms. However, these advantages are held back by his incredible arrogance, as he refuses to go all out against most opponents due to believing himself to be far above them, actively restraining the use of Sha Naqba Imuru, and only releasing more than a few Noble Phantasms at a time when he's feeling playful or irritated. Due to his position as a king rather than a warrior, he has only mastered a handful of the Noble Phantasms stored in his treasury, preventing him from unleashing their powers most of the time.
Weaknesses: Gilgamesh is insufferably arrogant and will thus almost always hold back unless he sees his opponent as entertaining or worthy of his power. He barely knows how to wield most of the weapons in the Gate of Babylon. After being "blackened" by the Grail's mud, he physically incarnated and lost the ability to enter spirit form. His arrogance makes him unlikely to use Ea unless facing a worthy opponent. | None notable.

Noble PhantasmsGate of Babylon: The King's Treasure: (王の財宝 Gēto obu Babiron ): Gilgamesh's grand treasury. It is a storehouse that contains the countless treasures of the world collected by Gilgamesh. Using Key of the King's Law, Bab-ilu, he can open an invisible door to its contents to summon them whenever he pleases. It contains the prototypes of all Noble Phantasms, which are fired from his vault as projectiles. He can also gather them directly into his hand for when he wants to fight up close. Due to the sheer number of Noble Phantasms he possesses, one can't try and take them head-on as they possess various unknown abilities to properly counter virtually any Servant recorded in the Throne of Heroes. The rate and power of the Noble Phantasms he releases depend on his situation, how Gilgamesh will use them, and who he faces.Additionally, he can have them summoned right next to his opponent or from all directions to either attack them in surprise or to overwhelm them. The way he uses this Noble Phantasm, having adopted this manner from his fight with Enkidu in life, makes him summoned into the Archer class. It has an incredibly efficient mana cost, needed only to open the gates. He can prepare and produce hundreds or even a thousand Noble Phantasm at once if he wishes and can return them to the vault whenever he pleases, even mid-flight. The Gate of Babylon contains all treasures in the world, including the "wisdom of humanity" or, in other words, the basis for all things constructed by humans throughout history, from the works of the Library of Alexandria to board games, to even airplanes and submarines. The only technology he lacks are things created by humans with entirely new concepts and the technology of extraterrestrial races. Along with "humanity's wisdom," he possesses the Prototypes of all Noble Phantasms, as all heroes' myths and legends are derived from his, owing to his status as the original hero. He can overwhelm any Servant by targeting their weaknesses with the Noble Phantasms. While he does not possess Noble Phantasms that were made before or after his time, such as some Divine Constructs, or Noble Phantasms that are formed from a Heroic Spirit's life and legend like God Hand, he would possess something that could be considered their prototypes, even if it was a paradox. Notable items within the Gate of Babylon include:
Class SkillsIndependent Action: The ability to remain independent and exist in the world without the magical energy supplied by a Master, allowing the Servant to act autonomously and the Master to save their magic power for spells. Under normal circumstances, Gilgamesh's A-rank enables him to operate without a Master except for using grand Noble Phantasms. He can remain in the world for a week without a Master. After the mud of the Grail incarnated him, it was upgraded to A+, allowing him to use more of his high-cost abilities, including his strongest Noble Phantasms, without the need for a Master. Through this, he remained materialized even after the Fourth Holy Grail War ended. In the Moon Cell, it is of a superior rank of EX, shown by his ability to operate independently without the support of a master on the Far Side of the Moon, a place considered unsafe for normal lifeforms to visit. Magic Resistance: An ability that grants protection against magical effects. Unlike the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether. Gilgamesh's proficiency in this skill ranges from E to C-Rank, depending on who summoned him. E-Rank merely reduces the damage he takes from magical attacks. C-Rank nullifies spells below two verses but cannot defend against Magecraft on the level of High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals. Furthermore, it is enhanced by his armor, raising it above even King Arthur's A-rank magic resistance, which can nullify magecraft from the Age of Gods. He has many other possessions that would also allow him to negate sorcery. This ability also provides resistance against indirect magical attacks such as Petrification, Hypnosis, and Spatial Manipulation. Personal Skills
