Summary
Ponton was a man who came from generations of law enforcement and had enter into law as a police Officer/Detective. After The Pink Panther jewel was stolen, he was assigned to keep a close eye on Inspector Clouseau who was assigned to solve this case told to the public, however, behind the scene, the police force was secretly putting a team together to solve it while assuming Clouseau would be incapable of such feat. However, after being taken off the case, Ponton helped the Inspector and both of them managed to figure out the true culprit of the crime, becoming heroes and gaining world wide recognition. Later into his career, he still was assigned to work with the Inspector and put on the famous case when The Pink Panther jewel and several other famous artifacts were stolen. He kept his confidence and faith in The Inspector and once again the two solved the case, catching the real thief and putting her behind bars.
