Summary
Dru-Zod, usually known as General Zod, is a former Kryptonian general, and an enemy of Superman. He believes in the supremacy of the Kryptonian race and wishes to bring them back, but hates Kal-El due to his father Jor-El having been the one to get him banished from Krypton to the Phantom Zone. More recently, Zod has taken over a planet known as Jakuul, to use it as a homeland for his family, the House of Zod.

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Weapon Mastery and Martial Arts (Has fought Superman multiple times. Even as a ten-years old kid, Zod could create and utilize rudimental weaponry to great effect, surviving by himself for one year among fierce kryptonian wildlife. Able to fight and kill multiple soldiers of the Char alien species both in simulations and in reality[1], Fought and defeated Doomsday in a Battle Suit[2]), Energy Projection (Wields energy weapons[1] and an energy gauntlet[3]. Has worn and used Kyrptonian Armor able to fire energy beams[2]), Empowerment and Healing (Is powered up and healed by yellow sun energy[4]) | All previous abilities unrelated to equipment plus Self-Sustenance (Type 1), Organic Manipulation (Can summon sharp tendrils to attack[5]), Flight and Spaceflight, Temperature Manipulation, Non-Physical Interaction and Durability Negation (Has the same heat vision as Superman[6] and can project it in many directions at once[7]), Enhanced Senses (Shares Superman's super-senses, accurate enough to see individual atoms[4]), Longevity (Lived for hundreds of years in the Phantom Zone[8]), Air Manipulation, Breath Attack and Temperature Manipulation (Can suck up air hard enough to empty someone's lungs[9]. Should be able to replicate Superman's ice breath), Sound Manipulation (Can cause physical destruction by shouting[10]. His shout of pain was so loud it was heard through all of Belle Reve[7]), Regeneration and Immortality (Mid, Type 3. Survived a deep, self-inflicted wound to the brain[7] and healed the wound in the span of roughly a half day [11]. Also regenerated from being impaled with a katana[12]), Dimensional Travel and Portal Manipulation (Controlled the Black Vault, a portal to the Phantom Zone[7]. However, the Black Vault was later destroyed, rendering this ability useless), Soul Manipulation and Summoning (Could summon the vengeful ghosts of kryptonians from the Black Vault[7]), Stealth Mastery (Snuck behind Superman in the middle of a fight, although the latter was becoming blind at the time[11]), Precognition (Not combat applicable. Stated he could fight forever, although this was possibly hyperbole[20]. A deep cut from a kryptonite sword could not stop him[24])
