~ Wally West |
Summary
Wally West is The Flash, the fastest man in the multiverse.[1] Formerly the protégé and successor of Barry Allen, he was trapped in the Speed Force for years, with the world forgetting his history until his metaphorical "rebirth."
Powers and Stats
Tier: Varies with speed, up to 2-C, higher with Speed Steal. High 1-A with Environmental Destruction and the Entire Speed Force
Name: Wallace Rudolph "Wally" West, The Flash (formerly Kid Flash)
Origin: DC Comics
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown
Classification: Superhero, Speedster, Founding member of the Teen Titans, The Fastest Man Alive
Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Acrobatics, Aura, Electricity Manipulation, Absorption, Attack Reflection (Can absorb Speed Force and Negative Speed Force energies. Can absorb the speed and momentum of others. Can absorb and redirect electrical attacks[2]), Regeneration (Low-Mid), Healing (Healed Nightwing after he was impaled and a dead flower[3][4]), Intangibility (Can vibrate his molecular structure to achieve an intangible state[5]), Durability Negation, Afterimage Creation, Accelerated Development (Passive; Physical Stats, Intelligence, Abilities. The Speed Force allows him to take in and process information at an accelerated rate. Felt himself changing with each passing moment, to the point where he could think so fast that he is able to hold two separate thoughts at once[6]), Cosmic Awareness (Sensed Doctor Manhattan’s presence.[7] Can sense disturbances in the space-time continuum, allowing him to detect when an opponent is manipulating space-time[8]), Cloth Manipulation (Reweaves the molecules of his suit[9]), Statistics Amplification, Perception Manipulation (Can boost his connection to the Speed Force by reciting the Speed Force Formula, making it appear as if time is frozen from his perspective[10]), Time Stop, Power Bestowal (Can share Speed Force energy with others), Air Manipulation, Time Travel, BFR (Banished Abra Kadabra into the Timestream[11]), Memory Manipulation (Can restore memories[12]), Should retain his Pre-Flashpoint abilities and possess his prior Resistances dueto being the same character and possessing an even greater connection to the Speed Force.
Attack Potency: Varies with Speed (A Speedster's power varies depending on how[13] fast[14] they're[15] moving.[16] Flashes often hold back their full speed, otherwise they may kill someone while going too fast[17]), up to Low Multiverse level (More powerful than his previous self.[18] Alongside Barry Allen, he shattered Green Lantern’s construct and nearly destroyed his ring.[19] Stated multiple times to be superior to Barry Allen[20][21][22][23][24][Note 1]), higher with Speed Steal (Should function the same as his Post-Crisis self). High Outerverse level with Environmental Destruction (Barry's and Wally's combined powers were strong enough to shatter the Force Barrier. His race with Wally was playing havoc with the very fabric of the multiverse, even causing the Highfather to be concerned and thought their power to be from the Source Wall[17]) and the Entire Speed Force (Should function the same as his Post-Crisis self. Also, the Speed Force[25] is said to be the Deep Change that all of Creation is emanated as a dream[25] from that same force that transcends all levels of emanations[25] of reality)
Speed: Massively FTL+ (Faster than his Pre-Flashpoint self following his return from the Speed Force.[26] Swifter than Superman[27] and Barry Allen), up to Infinite with Speed Steal (Should function the same as his Post-Crisis self); Immeasurable via running through time, the Speed Force, using the Fourth Dimension, and at Peaks (In a rage, he was able to accelerate faster than thought, light, and even the Speed Force itself[28])
Lifting Strength: Superhuman (Can easily carry multiple people while running. Held open a velociraptor’s jaw)
Striking Strength: Varies with Speed, up to Low Multiverse level, higher with Speed Steal. High Outerverse level with the Entire Speed Force
Durability: Varies with Speed, up to Low Multiverse level, higher with Speed Steal. High Outerverse level with Environmental Destruction and the entire Speed Force
Stamina: Infinite (According to Wally, he will never run out of energy due to his direct connection to the Speed Force[29])
Range: Standard Melee Range (Most of his powers are melee-based, but he can use ranged Speed Force effects a few meters away), up to Several Kilometers with whirlwinds and such. High Outerversal with Environmental Destruction and the entire Speed Force (The Speed Force energy he was generating during his conflict with Barry was wreaking havoc on the multiverse, disrupting the Green, the Microverse, and even Magic)
Standard Equipment: None notable
Intelligence: Genius (As smart as his Pre-Flashpoint Era self, retaining his knowledge and experiences. The Speed Force enhances Wally's mental capacity to levels attuned to his speed, allowing him to take in and process information at an accelerated rate. Can think so fast that he is able to hold two separate thoughts at once)
Weaknesses: Uncontrollably discharges lightning when he becomes emotionally overwhelmed. Using the Speed Force excessively and recklessly can result in him being permanently trapped in it. He cannot alter the kinetic energy of objects that gain their speed from time manipulation. He also needs a massive amount of food to compensate for his greatly accelerated metabolism. Lacks complete control over his time manipulative powers.
- Can perceive picoseconds
- Accelerates far beyond light-speed to the point of entering the Speed Force
- Beats Ultraman into submission, hitting him hundreds of thousands of times before he could react
- Easily knocks out H.I.V.E. agents that were previously overpowering the Titans, including Donna Troy and Tempest
- Harms Troia, an alternate future counterpart of Donna Troy[30]
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Phasing: Wally can vibrate his molecules so quickly that he can achieve an intangible state, allowing him to harmlessly pass through objects and attacks.
- Speed Steal: Wally can absorb the speed, kinetic energy and momentum from anyone or anything, adding them to his own. In addition to being able to slow the targets down, he is also able to immobilize them indefinitely, making them frozen like statues. This technique can be used to stop projectiles in midair.
- Time Freezing: Wally developed the ability to pause the flow of time when he gained a heart condition.[31]
Notes:
- Due to his time trapped in the Speed Force, Wally has since gained a much stronger connection to it following his metaphorical “rebirth”, and can tap into it much more than before.
