Summary

Fire ants are several species of ants in the genus Solenopsis. Most notorious of these species is the RIFA, an aggressive invasive species native to the Amazon but are found in massive numbers in the south and southeastern US. These ants are notorious pests, with $750 million spent annually on RIFA-caused agricultural issues, including medical bills, livestock loss, and crop loss.

Lifting Strength: Below Average Human (Ants are said to be able to lift 10-50 times their own body weight. Fire ant workers weigh 0.04 to 2.2 mg[1], so this figure can go from 0.4 to 22 mg at the minimum, or 2 to 110 mg at the maximum)

Striking Strength: Below Average Human level

Durability: Below Average Human level (Harvester ants, which are often mistaken for fire ants, can survive a 30-foot fall; it's likely that a fire ant's durability is comparable to that of a harvester ant)

Range: Below Standard Melee Range (Millimeters)

Standard Equipment: Their stingers
