Summary
Lord Hyness is the cloaked priest leader of the Three Mage-Sisters and the Jambastion cult, an organization that worships Void Termina, their Dark Lord. Hyness, and presumably the Mage-Sisters, were banished to the edge of the galaxy long ago by unknown authorities. During his rant, Hyness says that he and his people were responsible for saving everyone from an unexplored "galactic crisis". He says that those unknown authorities tried to completely erase even the scraps of his cult's existence from history[1] and called them mad. It's presumed that the ancients were that authority, but the truth remains a mystery.
During Heroes in Another Dimension, Hyness fell into a hole leading to Another Dimension and opened portals into several dimensions in it. He ended up swallowed by and trapped in a giant Jamba Heart, which corrupted him and made him more powerful, becoming Corrupt Hyness. It was revealed that he used to lead his people in a wiser way before his dark feelings got the better of him. He's ultimately restored to normal and is suggested that he and his people became more sociable towards the rest of the universe, no longer trying to destroy everything and peaceably hanging out in places, even if they are still practitioners their dark arts.

Superhuman Physical Characteristics (Can also talk at super speed, having once spoke at a rate of about 1,274 WPM or around 21 WPS), Genius Intelligence, Small Size (Type 1. Comparable, if taller than Kirby, whose 20 cm/8 inches tall), Self-Sustenance (Type 1), Non-Physical Interaction (Scaling from the Three Mage-Sisters, who can affect Void Soul), Body Control (Can quickly rotate his head several times with no repercussion[2]), Social Influencing, Weapon Mastery (Shown being proficient at using things as one shield and projectiles), Magic (Is an elite mage, most of his powers are magic. With Preparation he was able to achieve the following things: Resistance to Sealing (Overcame being sealed. Broke Void Termina's seal, although not entirely) and likely Forcefield Creation (Without the Mage-Sisters in it, the Jambandra Base had a massive barrier bigger than planets which automatically appreciated when others approached)

As the first key but amped in power, and likely the ability to make Friend Hearts (A small Friend Heart reached and purified him after his defeat in his Corrupt form, when a normal Friend Heart bestows the ability to generate them), which would give him Empathic Manipulation, Morality Manipulation, Purification, extended Healing and Power Bestowal
Attack Potency: Multi-Solar System level, likely Low Multiverse level (In his first phase he fought Kirby and three other Star Allies at once after they defeated the Three Mage-Sisters. His magical attacks are portrayed as needing to be dodged. All of his attacks are around as powerful, some of them being of the same elements as the Mage Sisters, which are all magic; As Hyness is considered a genius among the mages & an elite mage, his use of those elements should be around as strong, if not stronger. It's up to interpretation if he's stronger than the Mage-Sisters in his first phase given that, gameplay wise, he has lower health and he's a less challenging fighter, though those may be his only limitations, which he lacks in his second phase as he absorbed energies from the Three Mage Sisters [If with Zan Partizanne being unconsciously defeated at the time], now being able to attack physically and shoot more energy attacks at a time, potentially implying he became stronger), can ignore durability in some ways | Galaxy level, likely Low Multiverse level (Gained more power and was transformed after being corrupted by a giant, complete Jamba Heart, which got dismissed after being shattered away despite its abilities, implying all its dark power/darkness to have gone into Hyness as the Star Allies knew the Jamba Heart can reassemble and become a notable threat. "Darkness" is used to refer to the Jamba Heart pieces/Jamba Heart/Void Termina, so Hyness outside that Jamba Heart still needing to be freed from that darkness implies its impluence on him. Speed: Massively FTL+ (After he was split out from Void Termina, he escaped from the space in which his battle took place with the Three Mage-Sisters, presumably before Void Termina was defeated & caused an explosion that covered all the known areas of that dimension. There are intergalactic distances between where he was split and the portal back to Kirby's universe[6], which Hyness had minutes to reach. Battled Kirby and three Star Allies, which includes characters such as Meta Knight, King Dedede, Bandana Waddle Dee, Gooey and Ribbon. The Star Allies who reacted, outrun and chased the Jamba Heart pieces. Comparable to the Three Mage-Sisters, which he sent on a mission to recover the Jamba Heart pieces that scattered throughout the galaxy and bring them back to him)

Intelligence: Genius. Considered a genius among the mages, Hyness holds the position of a high-ranked priest, elite mage and "noble being", which made him the head of the Mage-Sisters and leader of his people. His magic appears to be among the greatest in Kirby's universe, possibly feared by unknown authorities and Hyness being aware that only harmonized with that magic can those unknown authorities' science achieve great prosperity[1]. As a cult leader, Hyness has been described as having an "intoxicating charisma" and is viewed as "the supreme existence"[2] by his people. He & his organization were responsible for stopping a "galactic crisis". Possesses the skills to fight many beings at once, including a Kirby with any Copy Ability & 3 of any Star Ally, like Meta Knight and Dark Meta Knight, who have hundreds of years of experience. He was aware of the existence of a different dimension and how to open a portal to it, as well as the dangers of crossing time and space through said portal
Weaknesses: Completely insane. Arguably has a poor memory (Cannot remember the exact name of Zan Partizanne)
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Jam (ジヤマ): Hyness tosses a series of black energy orbs out of his sleeves at targets, with slight homing properties. In phase 1 in Story Mode, he will throw sets of one orb each. In phase 2 of the same modes and phase 1 in Guest Star ???? and Soul Melter, he throws sets of two orbs. In phase 2 of Guest Star ???? and Soul Melter, he throws sets of three orbs.
- Vun Jam (ウンジャマ): Hyness tosses a large energy orb at targets. Once it hits the ground, it splinters into three smaller orbs which splash outward.
- Jam Again (ジャママジャーマ): Hyness summons a series of sharp spears made of light, which fan out and strike everywhere except the middle of from where they were shot. Later in the fight, Hyness can summon three sets of spears one after another.
- Blizzard Bonjam (ブリザ・ハローア): Hyness summons several large icy Jambastion emblems across the arena, which freeze Kirby & his allies. These emblems can be destroyed by Sizzle attacks. In Guest Star ???? and Soul Melter, Hyness can do this attack twice in a row.
- Sizzle Jamblasted (メラーガ・マダッム): Hyness causes fiery pillars on both sides to erupt from the floor, leaving stars in their wake. The middle under him is the safe zone.
- Zap Jamblasted (バリカ・マダッム): Hyness strikes the ground with a powerful lightning bolt, which causes sparks to travel across the floor. He always performs this move immediately after Sizzle Jamblasted in-game.
- Rag Doll Throw (デクふらし): Hyness throws each Mage-Sister at Kirby, causing crystals to form where they land. These crystals can be swallowed to gain certain abilities, depending on the type. These crystals can also be destroyed by their respective weaknesses:
- Ice crystals - Sizzle
- Fire crystals - Blizzard/Bluster/Splash
- Electric crystals - Splash
- Rag Doll Bat (デクバット): Hyness grabs hold of one of the Mage-Sisters and swings her wildly at foes like a club before eventually slamming her down on the ground creating shockwaves. Each mage club can be stopped by the respective weakness. Hyness can either use one Mage-Sister and swing her four times before slamming or use all three one after another; with the first two getting swung once before slamming and the last one getting swung twice before slamming. There is much skill behind this strikes, he's just abusing his power.
- Rag Doll Circle (デクころがり): Hyness forms up onto a Friend Circle (See the profile of any Star Ally) with the Three Mage-Sisters and starts rolling frantically around the stage. In the end, he will return to the middle and throw the Mage-Sisters to the ground, leaving himself stunned.
- Sacrifice Cage (いけにえのかご): Hyness surrounds himself with the Three Mage-Sisters as shields. Then, he tosses energy orbs behind the shields, starting with two, three or four sets of small orbs and then one giant orb before repeating the cycle. Hyness is invincible in-game as long as he is hiding behind the shields. However, once he takes enough damage when exposed, the Mage-Sister shields can be destroyed, leaving him stunned.
