Summary

Amy Rose is an anthropomorphic hedgehog whose crush for Sonic the Hedgehog is dwarfed only by her heart. The pair first met during the events of Sonic CD, with Amy going to Little Planet due to a supposed divine message from her tarot cards before meeting the Blue Blur himself.[4] She would be captured by Metal Sonic, ultimately being saved by Sonic at the end of his adventure across Little Planet. Their bond would only strengthen over time; Amy developing an unwavering faith of Sonic and his heroism, and Sonic himself warming up to her as both a friend and possibly something else entirely.

Her journey to the Starfall Islands alongside Sonic and Tails during Sonic Frontiers would result in the three of them being sucked into a mysterious vortex leading to Cyber Space. She would eventually be freed by Sonic, who would assist her on her quest to reunite a Koco with its true love. Upon seeing the two of them reunite, something that resulted in both Koco passing on, she would see a vision of the past from two Ancients that reunited right before their deaths. A scene that mirror the Koco in the present day, whose souls moved on. This would cause Amy to reflect upon love and its power, with the pink hedgehog declaring that its something that she wants to share with the world after their journey on the Starfall Islands is complete.[1] When Sonic succumbs to the cyber corruption on Rhea Island that had been afflicting him across his journey, Amy successfully drives back the cyber corruption with the help of Tails and Knuckles to bring him back.[5] This would ultimately be the catalyst which allowed Sonic to complete his mission; defeating the Titans, save his friends from Cyber Space, and saving the world at large from The End.

Amy has grown to become an irreplaceable friend to those around her, a self-proclaimed girlfriend to Sonic, a formidable fighter, and heroine in her own right across the course of her adventures. From helping warding off the alien invasion of the Black Arms to repeatedly partaking in thwarting the various plots of Dr. Eggman across various adventures, she's there to help ensure the safety of the world should it ever need her.

All innate abilities of her Super form are greatly enhanced plus;

Attack Potency: Large Star level (Capable of fighting and harming the likes of Classic Sonic and Classic Knuckles[6] | Large Star level (Superior to her Classic self. Destroyed ZERO.[41] Can harm and destroy Mecha Knuckles.[42] Fought Team Sonic alongside the rest of Team Rose[17]) to Multi-Solar System level (Capable of competently fighting alongside Sonic and destroying mechas comprised of Eggtech and Gemerl[14]) | Universe level+ (Severely dazed Storm with a single swing of her Piko Piko Hammer,[43] and threw an Ark of the Cosmos at his face hard enough to knock him out.[43] Defeated a Phantom Ruby clone of Metal Sonic with a single hit of her hammer.[44] Helped finish off a Death Crab and repel Badniks forces attacking a town.[45] Heavily mutilated Zombot Rough with one swing from her Piko Piko Hammer,[46] with even ordinary Zombots being highly durable.[47] Took part in a combined assault with the likes of Tails, Tangle, and others to fight Giga Omega.[48][49] Used a Heavy-Egg Hammer's own weapon to destroy it with a single swing while receiving minimal aid from Silver.[50] Handled a swarm of Crabmeats and deflected a strike from a crab mecha,[51] with Crabmeats being able to strike down Sonic and temporarily incapacitate him[52]), higher with Boost | Varies (Amy is empowered by the Chaos Emeralds,[40] which possess immense chaotic energies with fluctuating power levels,[53] with Amy being able to harness varying levels of positive energy); Universe level+ (Comparable to the likes of Super Tails and Super Ray), potentially up to Low Complex Multiverse level at her peak (6-D. Should likely be capable of achieving the same level of power used by Classic Super Sonic,[54] as she can tap into a Hyper transformation) | Low Complex Multiverse level (6-D. Far stronger than Super Amy)

Speed: FTL (Can keep up with Classic Knuckles[55]) | FTL+ (Can trail behind Adventure Shadow.[32] Followed Adventure Sonic and often caught up to him no matter where he ran) to Massively FTL+ (Easily keeps up with the likes of Gemerl even when it's fused with the Eggmobile, which flew to the Nonagression Zone.), higher with the Amy Dash (Amy can utilize the Amy Dash, her own variation of the Spin Dash,[16] a technique that allowed Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles to blitz a group of Eggforcers that were initially blitzing them[56]) | Massively FTL+ (Aided Elise in escaping Dr. Eggman's Egg Carrier. Can react to and compete with other Riders on their Extreme Gear) to Infinite (Fought against clones of Shadow, Zavok, Metal Sonic and Chaos 0.[44] Able to swing at and strike Badniks[45] while being carried and thrown at high speeds by Sonic, and outpaced and fought Zomom alongside Tails[25]), higher with the Amy Dash and Boost | Varies (Powered by the seven Chaos Emeralds, which possess immense chaotic energies with fluctuating power levels,[57] with Amy able to harness varying levels of positive energy); Infinite (Faster than Darkspine Sonic, as she is empowered by the Chaos Emeralds, which are superior to the World Rings), potentially up to Immeasurable at her peak (Should potentially be able to access the full power of the Chaos Emeralds, which enabled Super Sonic to hit Solaris before the latter could react) | Immeasurable (Comparable to Hyper Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles, as she's empowered by the Super Emeralds and thus far superior to any Super Form)

Lifting Strength: Class K | Class M (Provided one-fourth of the necessary force to halt the Riot Train, a speeding locomotive.[58] Comparable to Sonic, albeit weaker) | Multi-Stellar (Comparable to Sonic. Temporarily held back Metal Sonic[59]) | Immeasurable | Immeasurable (Superior to Super Amy)

Striking Strength: Large Star level (Can harm those comparable to her, such as Classic Sonic and Classic Tails[6]) | Large Star level (Stronger than her Classic self. Fought Team Sonic to a standstill alongside Team Rose) to Multi-Solar System level+ (Can harm Gemerl with her attacks even when comprised of additional Eggtech[14]) | Universe level+ (Defeated a Metal Sonic clone in one swing of her hammer. Brought a chase with Zomom to a temporary halt with one good swing[25]) | Varies; Universe level+, potentially up to Low Complex Multiverse level at her peak (6-D) | Low Complex Multiverse level (6-D)

Durability: Large Star level (Can take hits from Classic Sonic and Knuckles[6]). Up to Low Complex Multiverse level (6-D) Damage Transferal with Rings (Having enough Rings shields damage from those as strong as Void and Tethered Supreme) | Large Star level (Fought Team Sonic to a presumable standstill and can take attacks from them) to Multi-Solar System level (Can take hits from Gemerl and recover quickly[14]), higher with her Guard Skill (With Amy Guard, her Guard Skill, she can defend herself from attacks that would incapacitate her in one strike[15]). Up to Low Complex Multiverse level (6-D) Damage Transferal with Rings | Universe level+ (Can take attacks from Eggman's machines), higher with her Card Boost. Up to Low Complex Multiverse level Damage Transferal with Rings | Varies, Universe level+, potentially up to Low Complex Multiverse level at her peak (6-D. Invulnerability makes it difficult to conventionally harm her) | Low Complex Multiverse level (6-D. Invulnerability makes it difficult to conventionally harm her)

Stamina: Superhuman (Often chased Sonic endlessly wherever he went without any sign of tiring) | Superhuman (Journeyed for 3 days with little to no rest, fighting Eggman's various Badniks and mechas all the while[17]) | Superhuman (Worked nonstop in evacuation efforts over the course of days during the Metal Virus despite the heavy mental burden and stress it caused her,[24][60] and only stopped because she was forced to evacuate and retreat to safety herself) | Infinite | Infinite

Range: Standard Melee Range | Standard Melee Range, Tens of Meters with tornadoes | Same as before | Same as before. Up to Universal+, potentially Low Complex Multiversal, Possibly Complex Multiversal with her abilities (6-D, possibly 7-D. Super Sonic, Super Shadow, and Super Silver were able to affect Solaris, who Dr. Eggman twice states is an extra-dimensional lifeform that would make it superior to the likes of Illumina and Void) | Same as Super Amy

Standard Equipment: Her Tarot Cards and Piko Piko Hammer | Her Piko-Piko Hammer | Her Piko-Piko Hammer

  • Optional Equipment: Chaos Emeralds (up to all seven), Breeze (Her living car), Rings (maximum of 999) | Chaos Emeralds (up to all seven) | Pink Rose (Her Extreme Gear), Pink Cabriolet (Her Dodon Pa vehicle), Rings (maximum of 999) | Chaos Emeralds (up to all seven), Rings (maximum of 999)

Intelligence: At least Average, Gifted Combatant and Tactician (Despite once being a damsel in distress, Amy has become a particularly skilled fighter with the aid of her trademark weapon; the Piko Piko Hammer. Amy has shown the capacity to be an excellent strategist and tactician, such as quickly and efficiently giving orders to citizens of a town so they could repel the first wave of a Badnik attack.[45] When Neo Metal Sonic invaded Angel Island, it was her who created a strategy for how they would counterattack.[61] She was also at the forefront of the Restoration, handling evacuation efforts across several locations during the Metal Virus plague.[24][60] Amy Rose is a gifted fighter with her Piko Piko Hammer, being capable of fighting both against and alongside Sonic competently, and also boxercises)

Weaknesses: Amy is somewhat short-tempered and moody, and her love for Sonic is so strong that makes her lose common sense at times and act recklessly (as of the later Modern Era, her love for Sonic is no longer a force that can blind her). When Digitized, her interactions with the world becomes more limited.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Amy Dash: Amy's own version of the Spin Dash, more similar in wind-up to the Super Peel Out. Unlike the Super Peel Out, and more akin to the Spin Dash, Amy is not left vulnerable while charging it up.[16]
  • Boost Mode: By either running at top speed for an extended duration or having her speed accelerated, Amy will begin to leave afterimage in her wake and be able to perform her Boost Action.[16]
    • Head Slide: When in Boost Mode, Amy can perform this move to create a small barrier of energy that extends her attack range and shields her from harm. It also allows Amy to keep her speed and momentum after the move is finished.[16]
  • Homing Attack: Amy can perform the Homing Attack, a technique which allows her to home in on and strike both opponents and objects alike. Whether it's hammering one target or bouncing from foe to foe, it can be performed in rapid succession.
  • Spin Jump: Like many of her friends, Amy Rose is capable of performing the Spin Jump to defensively curl into a ball while simultaneously attacking enemies.[16]

Tag Actions (タッグアクション, Taggu Akushon) are unique moves that Amy receives when teamed up with a partner, mostly differing depending upon whether it's done on solid ground or while in the air. When performing a Tag Action, her partner will perform a Spin Jump into her arms before it's performed.[14]
