~ Ash describing the Xenomorph |
Summary
The Xenomorph XX121 also known as, simply, the Alien is a predatory extraterrestrial race of arthropod-like endoparasitoids descended from biological weapons created by the "Engineers." Highly aggressive and asocial, they are lead by a single Queen that lays eggs while the rest of the hive protects the Queen and gathers new hosts.
Powers and Stats
Tier: 9-C | At least 9-C, higher depending on the host | 9-B, higher depending on the host | 9-A, higher depending on the host
Key: Facehugger | Chestburster | Adult Xenomorph | Heavy Caste Xenomorphs
Name: Xenomorph XX121, Aliens, Plagiarus praepotens
Origin: Alien
Gender: Hemaphroditic[1], the Queen is referred to as female
Age: Varies
Classification: Alien, Endoparasitoid
Powers and Abilities:
Dream Manipulation (Facehuggers can cause nightmares.[2] Kane would go on to suffer these nightmares as well[3]), Bodily Weaponry (Conventional and Unconventional - Tail, Acid, etc), Paralysis Inducement (The facehugger can paralyze their victim whenever they get in physical contact with them[4]), Stealth Mastery, Small Size (Type 1 - Its 'body' can reach around someones face[3], its tail makes up most the length of its body), Acid Manipulation (Like Other Xenomorphs, have acid blood. A small spill of its acid was going to eat through the hull of a ship[3]), Self-Sustenance (Type 1. Capable of thriving in space, like its brethren)
Reactive Evolution and Power Mimicry (Aliens are capable evolving rapidly to incorporate things like diseases into their genetic makeup.[5] Chestbursters incorporate traits from the host into their genetic makeup, and is thus capable of gaining the powers, abilities, and strength of the host through this[6]), Acid Manipulation, Bodily Weaponry (Conventional and Unconventional - Tail, Acid, Teeth), Accelerated Development (Shortly after emerging, a chestburster will molt into a full adult xenomorph, which usually takes less than a day[3][7]), Stealth Mastery (Kane's chestburster easily remained hidden from the Nostromo crew[3]), Small Size (Type 0. No more than a foot tall and about two feet in length[8])
Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Self-Sustenance (Type 1 - Capable of thriving in space, as shown here[9], here[3], and here[10]), Bodily Weaponry (Conventional and Unconventional - Tail, Acid, Pharyngeal Jaw, Teeth), Acid Manipulation (Xenomorphs have acid stronger than there previous forms and any on Earth. Their acid can break molecular bonds[7] with ease. A Xenomorphs Acid can last long enough to eat through a bridge support cable[11] and should be superior to a facehuggers blood of which can eat through the hull of a ship[3]. Xenomorph acid is capable of corroding through the dome, which is made of a thick plastic[12], that is also bulletproof[13]), Large Size (Varies; from type: 0 to 1 - Tower over humans, Large Castes like Praetorians and Crushers tower over regular xenomorphs, reaching almost to sizes similar to that of a queen.[14] Xenomorph Queens can reach up to 6 meters in height, if not larger[15]), Surface Scaling (Can crawl on ceilings[7], smooth walls[16], etc), Stealth Mastery (Xenomorphs do not show up on infrared,[7] capable of sneaking up on trained marines and pilots,[7] as well as utilizing environmental advantages such as ventilation systems to ambush their prey[3]), Adhesive Manipulation (Xenomorphs can secrete a resin that hardens into a shell of solid material.[7] Castes like the worker xenomorphs specialize in this, and can produce and spin resin with there long tongues[17]), Regeneration (Mid-Low, Ripley 8 was able to quickly regenerate an incision scar due to her Xenomorph genes[18]), Possible Telepathy (Queens have been said to communicate telepathically with other xenos[15]), Biological Manipulation (Xenomorphs can secrete the black goo[19] and can use it to make host more suitable for production, the black goo can mutate and change someones genetic makeup,or kill anyone that comes in contact with it[20]), Statistics Amplification and Empathic Manipulation (As a hive grows larger xenos get smarter[21]. Royal Jelly is extremely addictive to humans and other animals, and when ingested in large quantities causes an adrenal increase in strength, stamina, and aggressive tendencies[22]), Self-Destruction (Xenomorph bursters explode once killed[23]), Enhanced Senses (Xenomorphs are capable of seeing in a topographical map-like sense of sight, and being able to experience smells, sounds and textures in strange ways, such as seeing colors that humans cant describe[24]), Longevity (Xenomorphs can last an incredibly long time. Can go into hibernation to survive during long stretches in outer space[25])
Resistance to Heat Manipulation and Ice Manipulation (Capable of living in the vacuum of space indefinitely, cold temperatures seem to have no effect on them[26]. Can withstand the heat[27] of explosions[28] and molten lead[29]), Biological Manipulation (Xenomorphs can secrete the black goo[19], and can use it to make host more suitable for production, the black goo can mutate and change someones genetic makeup, or kill anyone that comes in contact with it[20]), Acid Manipulation (Completely immune to their own acid blood and other acids for self-explanatory reasons), Fire Manipulation (Although Xenomorphs are usually scared of flames, as shown in Alien: Isolation, they are physically unaffected by them. A queen had received no physical harm from being engulfed in fire[7] and a xenomorph was able to shake off flames like a dog shaking water off its coat[30]), Electricity Manipulation (in Alien: Isolation it is shown to be unaffected by stun batons and EMP mines), Radiation Manipulation (Xenomorphs are unaffected by being irradiated[31]), Disease Manipulation (aliens are capable of incorporating things like diseases into their genetic makeup[5]), Empathic Manipulation (Xenomorphs are unaffected by the royal jelly, any non xenomorph creature becomes addicted to the substance and homicidal[22]), Sound Manipulation (Xenomorphs can survive being blasted by a point blank sonic weapon from a Good Boy drone, which can burst eardrums from hundred of yards away[32][33])
Attack Potency: Street level (Facehuggers will threaten[3] to strangle their victim if removed[7]. A Facehugger fresh out the egg overpowered a chimpanzee incredibly quickly[34]) | At least Street level (A Chestburster can break through a man’s ribcage[3] and with one bite it is capable of ripping apart a man's neck[35]), higher depending on the host (Xenomorphs can incorporate traits from the host they burst from into their genetic makeup, and is thus capable of gaining the powers, abilities, and strength of the host through this[6]) | Wall level (Xenomorphs are capable of fighting and killing eachother, and thus should scale to durability[19]. Adult Xenomorphs are much stronger than chestbursters, and can rip apart and warp steel[7] doors[29], elevator doors[36], and people[37]), higher depending on the host | Small Building level (Can fight those who can harm them. Heavy Caste Xenomorphs are far stronger than the average Xenomorph, with a Queen being capable of fighting a powerloader[7] and creating shockwaves just by stomping[38]), higher depending on the host
Speed: Subsonic (Its POV blurs when running[29] and it can cover the length of a room rather quickly as seen in Alien: Isolation, can keep up with and eventually outpace a speeding ATV[39]. Facehuggers can 'dodge' bullets[40], with an adult xenomorph being able to dodge a M41A Pulse Rifle shot that was going to hit its face[41], which was calced at this level. Should be comparable to, if not superior, to the Cloned Xenomorph, which can dodge bullets[18], which was calced at this level)
Lifting Strength: Superhuman possibly Class 1 (Overpowered a panicked Chimpanzee grip, which is claimed to apply 'six hundred kilograms of ripping strength[42], although this could also be taken as hyperbolic) | Unknown | At least Class K (Can rip people[7] in half[37] and easily rip out skulls with their spines still attached[43], which would grant this much energy)
Striking Strength: Unknown (The average striking strength for a facehugger is unknown, as their only purpose is to subdue their victims via paralysis and grip strength) | At least Street level (With one bite it is capable of ripping apart a man's neck[35]. Chestbursters can also eat and crush raw metals[44]), higher depending on the host | Wall level (Comparable to its attack potency. A single strike from its inner mouth can shatter a shatter-resistant window.[29] Can punch a vent off a ceiling[45]), higher depending on the host | Small Building level (Comparable to its attack potency. A queen broke a ladder just by walking into it[7]. A young queen slaughtered a large group of gunmen[10]), higher depending on the host
Durability: At least Street level (Can take a small burst of gunfire[40]) | At least Street level (While vulnerable in this stage, they should be comparable to their striking strength. Can survive being hit in the head by a pulse rifle from an android[46]), higher depending on the host | Wall level (As shown in Alien: Isolation, can withstand Amanda Ripley's Pipe Bombs, which produce this much energy. Can survive point blank shotgun blasts[47], revolver bullets as shown in Alien Isolation, and military sidearm bullets richochet off its exoskeleton[7]), higher depending on the host | Small Building level (Comparable to its striking strength. Unaffected by multi-ton machines falling on it[7] and an explosion from a belt of grenades[7]. Mature Queens are more or less impossible to kill with basic weaponry.[38] Superior to the One-Armed Xenomorph, which survived an explosion this big[35], and was merely annoyed by one of its attacks[48]), higher depending on the host
Stamina: Superhuman (Xenomorphs can take pain incredibly well, being unaffected by shots to the chest[41], and to the head[49]. A xenomorph was capable of still fighting even after having its limbs broken and tail ripped off, with it even trying to attack with more vigor than before[50])
Range: Below Standard Melee Range | Below Standard Melee Range | Extended Melee Range; Several Meters to Tens of Meters with acid projectiles (Xenomorphs are capable of shooting acid at a modest distance[29]. Although Xenomorph castes like the spitter can shoot acid up to 25 meters[51]); Higher depending on the host
Standard Equipment: None notable.
Intelligence: High Animalistic, possibly Below Average generally, higher for Queens (Can cut out the power to entire facilities to improve the efficiency of an ambush.[7] The Xenomorph's level of sentience is a matter of some debate. However, it is clear that they are clever and tenacious hunters. with some Xenomorphs being described as semi-sentient and shown to have some form of higher thought[52][53]. Moreover, the Hadley's Hope and USM Auriga incidents both showed that the species excels at observational learning and problem solving[54]. Xenomorph Queens are capable of commanding entire hives and can use elevators[7])
Weaknesses: An extreme temperature change can heat up their acid blood and cause them to explode.[29]
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Head Bite: Arguably a Xenomorph’s most notable attack, involving the use of their inner jaw to pierce the victim's skull and fatally destroy the brain. The striking force of the Xenomorph's inner jaw is extremely powerful, able to pass completely through both sides of the skull.[29]
- Acid: Certain castes of Xenomorph have evolved to use their acid blood in a more offensive manner. Drones, for example, have developed a highly pressurized bloodstream that can cause them to physically explode if sufficiently damaged, showering the surrounding area in acid[7]. Runners have been shown to be able to spit acid[29] and Xenomorphs Bursters will explode once killed.[23]
- Eggmorphing: When absent of a hive, a Xenomorph Drone will begin taking hosts and cocooning them in a secreted resin that exposes them to enzymes and growth hormones that gradually shapes their body into that of an Ovomorph[55]. The Drone will then inject genetic material from the barb of its tail into the host, allowing it to incubate a Facehugger and continue the life cycle.
