Summary
The graphic novel series revolving around a Canadian named Scott Pilgrim, a slacker and part-time musician who lives in Toronto and plays bass guitar in a band. He falls in love with American delivery girl Ramona Flowers, but must defeat her seven evil exes in order to date her.
The verse is heavily inspired by video games and other forms of geek media, such as anime, therefore it shares many similarities in lore to other pop cultural verses.
Power of the Verse
Scott Pilgrim is a fairly grounded verse, with the weakest characters being placed at Wall level, while the mid tiers manage to climb up to Large Building level+, and certain power ups reaching City Block level. For the most part, characters are Subsonic in terms of speed. The verse's "Vegan Powers", wielded by Todd Ingram, are an exception to this, however, with Ingram having Continent level+ and Massively Hypersonic+ feats. In terms of hax, characters have a degree of toon force, and more powerful hax taking the form of "The Glow", a means of weaponized emotional manipulation, and "Subspace", an alternate reality that sits below and inside the verse with a wide variety of uses, such as transport and storage. Characters can also wield certain statistics-increasing weapons.
