INTRODUCTION
With the recent upgrades of Digimon, we need to have a better explanation for the feats of Digimon. This blog will then discuss two things, the cosmic level feats in Digimon and the scaling of the characters.
First I will speak of the characters with feats or not, but who are part of a large scale of powers. After the "big list of powerscaling" is complete, I'll be directing to characters that may or may not scale to something on this list but are not part of the main list overall. That is, we know it is more powerful than someone on the list, but we do not know who is most powerful among the characters being discussed with the character who would be ahead of him on the scale. Like:
A < B < C
Then we know that a D is stronger than B, but we don’t know if D is stronger than C, then rather than doing A < B < D < C or A < B < C < D, we will simply divide the scale in two
A < B < C and A < B < D without anything that is relating C and D, since we don’t how one is stronger than the other.
RULES
Now let's discuss this. The basis for this blog will be the World Hierarchy in Digimon and the Gods. As stated on the blog, the hierarchy in the Digimon franchise is:
- Physical World (Real World Multiverse);
- 6 Layers of the Network;
- Digital World:
- Physical Layer of the Digital World;
- Several layers of the Digital World;
- Realm of the Four Holy Beast;
- Yggdrasil’s Realm;
- World of the Eaters;
- Other Layers of the Works of the Gods;
The Digital World is very vast, and many characters are mentioned as being able to destroy the Digital World, of course not all scale to the entire structure of the Digital World. For many characters where there is no context of "destroying the Digital World," we can scale the character to the lowest level of the Digital World, up to the upper layers before reaching the domain of the gods (At least "Physical Layer of the Digital World", at most "several layers of the Digital World").
Depending on the context, it is possible to scale one directly into the divine layers. For example, we know that the Four Holy Beasts escalate their realm, after all it was they who created this world. The Four Great Dragon are related to one of the Four Holy Beasts and are comparable in power, so logically when a member of Four Great Dragon would destroy the Digital World, would be taking into account the level of characters comparable to them, which would include the Four Holy Beast.
This is more like a security method, so we don't put all the characters with a "would destroy the Digital World" feat as being able to influence even the Realm of Yggdrasil that would be the top of the Digital World.
The Four Holy Beast
The Four Holy Beasts are those residing in what was once considered to be the highest level of the Digital World, until Yggdrasil's existence was established. Today the Four Holy Beast kingdom is considered to be "The nearest of the gods" and its powers "next to the gods", which gives to consider their realm as the last one of the Digital World before the one of Yggdrasill. What is important about their level is that the layer of which they reside, in addition to all other layers of the Digital World, was something that they themselves created, residing in what would be the top while maintaining the balance of the whole world.
When they refer to "Order and Stability of the Digital World," this refers to their power as the entities that keep the worlds in balance. The Four Holy Beasts are essentially the pillars that sustain the world. They protect the space and time of the Digital World by preventing changes from occurring, as they are the power that opposes the imbalance. Their power to keep the balance between the world is not something unique and exclusive to the Digital World, even the Real World is something that needs the power of the Four Holy Beast to stay in balance.
This balance is what keeps all the worlds in their proper places. If the Four Holy Beasts weaken, the balance of worlds is also weakened, because they are the power that keeps everything in balance. What happens is that the worlds being kept apart begin to collide with each other. This begins by being perceived as distortions, places where there is a fine interconnection between the worlds. The more the Four Holy Beasts weaken, the more power that separates the worlds weakens. When all balance is lost, all worlds will collide with each other reducing all that exists to the world of darkness.
With this the power of Four Holy Beast can be placed justified as:
- Created with the other Four Holy Beast their own layer above the other layers of the Digital World, being below only of the Layer of Yggdrasil. It maintains the balance of the Digital World and the other worlds that exist within their level in the Hierarchy of Worlds. Because of this it constantly keeps all the worlds separate from each other, and if his power weakens the worlds of the multiverse begin to collide and in case it loses all its power, the result would be the collapse of the multiverse into a world of nothingness.
This applies to all Four Holy Beasts, and three of them Xuanwumon, Zhuqiaomon and Qinglongmon have not demonstrated a superior power to each other, and it may be assumed that they are at least equal in power. In particular, Baihumon is described as being the most powerful of the four.
Huanglongmon Ruler of the Center
Huanglongmon is a special case. He is also technically a Holy Beast, being considered a God Beast. He is the one who holds the very power that keeps the balance in balance. He is more powerful than the Four Holy Beasts and was also responsible for maintaining the balance of the Digital World, but ended up being consumed by evil and led the Digital World to imbalance. It had to be sealed so that the balance would be restored.

In addition, Huanglongmon uses the special move "Taikyoku" in which it is able to destroy the entirety of the Digital World through all eternity and reduce everything to non-existence.
So the description of Huanglongmon can be:
- More powerful than the Four Holy Beast, being also responsible for the balance of the multiverse. It is capable of dividing the Digital World into the extremes of light and darkness and reducing all existence into non-existence.
Four Great Dragons
The group consists of Holydramon, Megidramon, Goddramon and Qinlongmon. Of this group, Qinlongmon maintains a correlation between the Four Holy Beast and the Four Great Dragons. From the order of the group we know that Megidramon is the one with the highest destructive power, Holydramon is the fastest, Goddramon is the greatest durability, and Qinglongmon has the highest carrying capacity. Goddramon is also described as having the greatest magical power within the group.
Of this group, in addition to a direct scale with Qinglongmon there are still the feats of Megidramon. Megidramon is a very dangerous Digimon, so much so that its power is considered a "Digital Hazard", a danger for the whole Digital World. And so this power is sealed within Megidramon, which often remains sealed. However sometimes this power is released, a power that is described as being capable of causing great damage throughout the Digital World.

When the seal of Megidramon is removed and its power is released the entire Digital World begins to collapse. The power of Megidramon causes even the Four Holy Beast layer to begin to shake and all that power flows reaching all lower layers even the Real World. The result of all this power is the total destruction of the whole world. In addition, Megidramon is able to use his "Megiddo Flame" attack to use flames with the power of the Digital Hazard, which can consume everything with the hellfire. There is also the form "Megidramon X-Antibody", which is a form of Megidramon that has already had its seal removed, so it can already use all its potency from the beginning, while a normal Megidramon may still be sealed.
With this we can establish the power of Megidramon as:
- More powerful than all the other Four Great Dragons, which includes Qinglongmon. By having its power released it’s able to shake the entire layer of the Four Holy Beast and all the others layers that exist below, the result of this is the total destruction of the Digital and Real Worlds. Capable of warping the entire Digital World in hellfire to return everything to nothing.
This is valid for Unsealed Megidramon and Megidramon X-Antibody. Sealed Megidramon will be “Unknown” (Or we simply don't will include a key to Megidramon when it's Sealed). Goddramon and Holydramon will simply be considered "near" to Megidramon and Qinglongmon, although all the three (Goddramon, Holydramon and Qinglongmon) will be specified as being somewhat weaker than Megidramon.
ARCHANGELS
The group is popularly known as "Three Great Angels", which is only a variation of the translation of "Three Archangels" (大天使). There is no spelling difference in Japanese regarding the name of that group and "Archangel Type" (大天使型) which includes Digimon as Holy Angemon and Angewomon. Therefore, to refer to this group I will adopt the name "Great Angel" only to give a distinction of this group and the "Archangel Type" which is much more comprehensive. The members of this group are placed in separate classifications of the other archangels, the "Serpah-Type", "Cherub-Type" and "Ophan-Type". In specific members of this group were always Ophanimon, Cherubimon and Seraphimon. Rasielmon was later added as being in the same rank as Ophanimon, although it was also never placed in the same group as the other three Digimon.

This particular group never had great feats, despite receiving a lot of hype within the franchise. Seprahimon is placed as the highest-ranked angel, rules over all of the angels and closest is to God. While Cherubimon is above all Holy Beasts, which could include the "Four Holy Beasts", although nothing much confirmed. However, Ophanimon was already said to be the member of the group with the highes tattack, but they aren’t usually treated as being very different in power level.
Cherubimon Vice and Black Seraphimon
Cherubimon Vice is the fallen form of Cherubimon, and the interesting thing about it is that it demonstrates a direct superiority over the Four Holy Beasts, which was previously something that could only be assumed. The descriptions of Cherubimon Vice describe that when it assumes this form, the balance of the Digital World collapses, and as previously explained this balance is the Four Holy Beast. In Digimon Collectors, Dracumon was responsible for corrupting Seraphimon in Black Seraphimon, and in doing so the order was for Black Seraphimon to "dye everything in darkness and burn everything". Then in Digimon Crusader, Black Seprahimon with some other Digimon while expanding their power of darkness, would cover up everything that exists. In addition, these Digimon are much more powerful than their previous forms being able to defeat them with a single blow. There is still Ophanimon Falldown Mode, but this one has no feats. Maybe we should just scale Ophanimon Falldown Mode to the other Three Great Angels.

Thus, the descriptions of Cherubimon Vice should be:
- More powerful than its previous form, able to easily destroy the Digital World Balance and defeat Seraphimon and Ophanimon
Black Seraphimon should be:
- More powerful than its former form. Able to cover the entire Digital World in darkness destroying everything as a result.
Royal Knights
The Royal Knights are a group of 13 Digimon that form the highest level of protection of the Network helping Yggdrasil to rule the Digital World. Digimon as Omegamon and Dukemon are able to easily kill Digimon as Black Seraphimon and Cherubimon (Vice). Dukemon is portrayed as a superior form of Megidramon, being the true power that awakened from within the previous form. Dynasmon and LordKnightmon are also examples of this power, being that they are constantly portrayed as more powerful than Digimon as MagnaGarurumon and KaiserGreymon, who are far beyond Digimon as Cherubimon Vice. When the dimensional wall was destroyed in Digimon Savers, Craniummon replaced Bantcho Leomon who was using all his power to keep the two worlds apart. Later when Yggdrasil attacked Craniummon other members of the Royal Knights helped him support the Digital World. At another time, fragments of the Digital World gathered together to form a strange dimension beyond space-time, this unstable dimension began to grow and would collapse covering the entire Digital Field and affecting the Real Worlds, Gankoomon was able to control the collapse of the dimension while the Chosen Children destroyed the nucleus from which this power came.
The Royal Knights in general are very comparable in power, so much so that many of them go into internal fights to know who is right. However, although they are in general, comparable to each other, it is still possible to see clearly that some are more powerful than others in some matters.
This is an example of a Royal Knight who has his power based on Power Scaling:
- Omegamon
- Until the Ark Project period, it was described as the most powerful of the Royal Knights. Killed Cherubimon (Vice) and Dukemon.
In some cases, the Royal Knigts themselves have their feats aside the ordinary Power Scaling like:
- Craniummon:
- Comparable to other Royal Knights. Able to stay between the Digital World and the Real World replacing the Dimensional Barrier and thereby preventing the collapse of the Digital World and the Real World.
- Gankoomon:
- Comparable to other Royal Knights. Able to prevent the collapse of a dimension beyond space-time that would destroy the Digital and Real Worlds.
The Seven Great Demon Lords
As explained in this blog, the Seven Great Demon Lords are actually a manifestation of conceptual beings that are reflected in all the worlds of the multiverse. Here I will be focusing on the infinite avatars that exist. Lilithmon is an interesting start. When irritated, her fury was able to cause a distortion in space-time that began to consume the whole reality of a Zone (One of the 108 fragments of the Digital World) which had already been repeated several times. Another example of power is from Belphemon, yet in Sleep Mode it is described that the power of the darkness contained in it is able to cover the entire Digital World, and when awakened the roars of Rage Mode are able to distort the Digital World and the Digimon threatening everything. Barbamon is able to use all the negative power of the Dark Area to his command, being able to release everything in a single attack releasing so much energy, that in comparison the attack of Belial Vandemon comes to represent only a small fraction of that energy. Leviamon is described as being so massive that it would be able to devour the entire Digital World. To demonstrate how powerful they can be, when it was said that there was a dragon capable of destroying all existence and non-existence, the assumption of what this Dragon would be was beings such as Leviamon and Belphemon. These Digimon are described as being fallen forms of angels like Seraphimon and Ophanimon, and indeed Digimon as Black Seraphimon are still "behind" the form of Demon.
Lucemon
I decided to put the Lucemon out of the same text as the others because it has more feats than the other SGDL in general. Lucemon (Child) is the son of God, and the entity closest to it The power of Lucemon was divided and then used to create the Three Great Angels. The simple pressure of Lucemon's gaze is able to affect even Digimon as LordKnightmon and Dynasmon. As Lucemon Falldown Mode he is constantly described as the most powerful of all the Seven Great Demon Lords to the point that the other Great Demon Lords are considered as "nothing" near him. Just by wake up, Lucemon is able to start a collapse in the very fabric of the Digital World, destroying the boundary between the worlds and start destroying everything. In addition to being able to absorb the entire Digital World, Real, everything into his body, the Dark Area.
Dark Masters and Apocalymon
The Dark Masters are a group formed by 4 Digimon, Mugendramon, Pinocchimon, MetalSeadramon and Piemon. They are considered as equals of the Four Holy Beast, being responsible for sealing them thus weakening the balance of the Digital World. They were able to use the Nanomon program that linked them directly with the power of Apocalymon, which allowed them to completely cover up the Digital World in Darkness, which allowed them to reshape it any way they wanted. They reshaped the entire Digital World, all the earth, skies, Digimon, everything was deconstructed and rebuilt in the shape of the Spiral Mountain.
In the case, this power was not something natural of the Dark Masters, as explained they used the program created by Nanomon to connect with Apocalymon, and thus began to feed of the power of the darkness of Apocalymon and with that they became the Dark Masters. POWERSCALING
- NOTE: This list is currently incomplete, it will be completed with more information in the future
This will be a basic explanation of the characters' PowerScaling so far. The reason everyone scales to the level of existence of the Four Holy Beasts is because of direct relations with them (Like Cherubimon (Vice) and the Four Holy Beasts in the profiles and in D-Project) and even as some characters already reside on higher planes (Like the Angels that reside the Kernel).
Anyway, I must say that virtually no feat of "destroying the Digital World" should scale to the Kernel unless specified. This is because the main division between the "Digital World" in general and "Yggdrasil" was realized in such a way that Yggdrasil was not affected in any way by anything that happened in the "Digital World", so only a feat involving the Digital World it will only include the kernel if the context justifies this. Without anything else to add let's get started.
The Four Holy Beasts are the basis of our scale, all members contribute to a certain level for feats involving the Hierarchy of Worlds in case they have created their own layers and are responsible for preventing the collapse of the entire multiverse with their own powers. One of the Four Holy Beast, responsible for creating a layer that transcends almost all levels of existence of the Digital World, being below only Yggdrasil. Its own existence composes part of the Digital World Balance, thus maintaining the balance in the whole Multiverse, and in case its power decreases, the Multiverse will collapse. Comparable to other Four Holy Beasts. Member of the Four Great Dragons and comparable to their level of power, it helps the other members of the group to defeat and seal Megidramon when it's unsealed.
One of the Four Holy Beast, responsible for creating a layer that transcends almost all levels of existence of the Digital World, being below only Yggdrasil. Its own existence composes part of the Digital World Balance, thus maintaining the balance in the whole Multiverse, and in case its power decreases, the Multiverse will collapse. Explicitly said to be the most powerful member of the Four Holy Beasts.
Huanglongmon technically helps the group and is part of the "cardinal points" that help maintain the world, and this is why I have put it here. In general the members of the group are equivalent in power, and we have seen members like Qinglongmon and Zhuqiaomon fight each other. Baihumon is the more specific because we know exactly that he is the most powerful of the four. The powerscale is:
- Qinglongmon = Zhuqiaomon = Xuanwumon < Baihumon < Huanglongmon
The Four Great Dragons are a more unknown group and we do not know much about them, except for the Qinglongmon and Megidramon members, who will be the base of the whole scale.
The most powerful of all members of the Four Great Dragons. Its very existence causes the collapse of the Digital World, causing the very layers of the world to begin to shake until all existence is destroyed, even the layer of the Four Holy Beasts is destroyed. Able to consume the entire Digital World in hellfire destroying everything.
As the members appear little, we do not know much about them. We only know that specifically Megidramon is the one with the most destructive power, and that we once saw the other three members of the group coming together to defeat and seal him again. The best that we can do is:
- Qinglongmon = Goddramon = Holydramon < Megidramon
The Three Great Angels are a very specific group, because they do not have many feats, and only one quote that links them to the Four Holy Beast, but which is in the end legitimate and is used as the basis for their next forms.
Said to be the highest-ranked being among Angel Digimon and the being closest to the "Being of Good" called "God". Should be comparable to the other members of the Three Great Angels. Able to convert its own vital energy and create a Big Bang.
Very simple, though strange it is said that Ofanimon is the one who holds the greatest attack power. Although in general, everyone is portrayed as similar in some way.
- Cherubimon (Virtue) = Seraphimon < Ofanimon
The Fallen versions of them on the other hand, have more feats and can be described in a better way. However, this time we do not know anything about the power between the Fallen Forms so we can not know who is stronger than who, which we leave with only the slightest idea that they are comparable to each other.
More powerful than its normal form. Capable of covering the entire Digital World with its power of darkness, consuming everything with hellfire.
More powerful than the Four Holy Beast, wielding power capable of destroying the balance of the Digital World. It easily killed Ofanimon and only didn't kill Seraphimon because of an wish from Ofanimon.
Stronger than before.
The Royal Knights are one of the most well-known groups in the franchise, and they are very well established as more powerful than many others, being the largest protection group in the network. So let's start talking about them.
Stronger than Megidramon, easily killed Black Seraphimon. Comparable to other members of the Royal Knights. Helped other members prevent the collapse of the Digital World and the Real World.
Comparable to other members of the Royal Knights. Replaced BanchoLeomon in service to prevent the collapse of the Digital and the Real Worlds literally serving as a stone that holds the worlds apart.
Comparable to other members of the Royal Knights.
Comparable to other members of the Royal Knights. Initially much stronger than Kaiser Greymon. Its "Dragon Collider" attack has the highest destructive power of all Royal Knights.

Comparable to other members of the Royal Knights. Using its power it was able to prevent the collapse of a dimension that transcended space-time and whose explosion would be able to cover the entire Digital and Real Worlds.
Comparable to other members of the Royal Knights, Gankoomon said that Jesmon has a potential to be greater than himself but that Jesmon still needs to perfect that power.
The strongest of the Royal Knights, able to battle with Omegamon, Jesmon, Ulforce V-Dramon, Jesmon, Magnamon and Dukemon at the same time and defeat them with great ease.
By the time Project Ark was said to be the most powerful of the Royal Knights. Defeated Dukemon and easily killed Cherubimon (Vice).
One of the most powerful Royal Knights serves as a deterrent force for the Royal Knights, and is responsible for defeating them if they get out of control by making wrong decisions, Opposing the Royal Knights and even killing them.
The Royal Knights are usually a fairly equivalent group, which is something necessary since a constant theme among them is that they end up in internal quarrels because of different opinions, fights that end up becoming too big, needing the intervention of Alphamon. Of the Royal Knights, only 4 have descriptions of being "very powerful" in the context of the group. Dynasmon is specifically said to have the most powerful special move, because of a single movement, outside this can be considered equal to all others. At the time of Project Ark (until then only if the existence of Dynasmon, Lord Knightmon, Dukemon, Ulforce V-Dramon, Magnamon and Omegamon like Royal Knights was confirmed) was that Omegamon was the most powerful member of the group, which changed in the settings. Alphamon is then introduced and usually takes on the role of more powerful Royal Knight, being responsible for defeating others when necessary. Finally, in Cyber Sleuth it is definitively established that Examon is the Royal Knight with the greatest physical strength.

The Seven Great Demon Lords, most of them are equal to each other at some point, since they used to go into wars with each other, and Lilithmon said that there were direct battles between them. At specific times, some members are more powerful than others, but I'll leave it to discuss this in the future. I'm going to put Lucemon (Child) on this list, because it's the best place I've found to fit this. Their description should be

Described as having the greatest strength of the Great Demon Lords, has so much data that it is able to devour the entire Digital World with ease.
More powerful than most Great Demon Lords together, defeated Barbamon, who had absorbed the power of almost every member of the group, with ease.
More powerful than all the other angels, fragments of its power were used to create the Three Great Angels. Defeated and sealed Huanglongmon when it got out of control.
The most powerful of the Great Demon Lords, is so powerful that all other members are nothing compared to him, just by manifesting its power, is capable of starting a collapse in the entire the Digital World threatening to destroy everything, able to absorb everything that exists for itself, consuming everything for its body, the Dark Area. After leaving everything into nothingness, it is said that Lucemon will create a new world to replace the previous one. Defeated Demon, who had absorbed the power of every other member of the group, with a single attack.
The Seven Great Demon Lords are generally equivalent to each other, and we have a greater certainty of who is stronger than who
- Lilithmon = Beelzebumon = Barbamon = Belphemon < Leviamon < Demon < Lucemon Falldown Mode
The Dark Masters are something more specific, and I put them here for being a demonstration of the "multiple chains of powerscaling" in Digimon.
The most powerful of the Dark Masters. Considered equal to the Four Holy Beasts, defeated and sealed Qinglongmon. Just by existing it was able to distort the space-time of the Digital World almost destroying the whole world. The power of these distortions as the source of all the power used by the four Dark Masters to defeat and seal the Four Holy Beasts and then reshape the whole Digital World. It is the infinite darkness of the Dark Area, being able to swallow the entire Digital World reducing everything to nothingness. After destroying the entire Digital World would create a Big Bang that would build a new world.

Now that we know about it, we're going to talk about scale in general. The Digimon franchise is full of feats of destruction of the Digital World and the Multiverse in general, and several characters can do this, which makes the level of Digimon very large is the powerscaling. However, many of the "Powerscaling lists" that exist around Digimon, take a lot of liberties that are not really validated within the franchise. So instead of a large list of Power Scaling that takes a lot of creative freedoms, I'll create a lot of lists of Powerscaling well limited only with things we can stipulate with bases. Anything beyond that is not something I can justify.

- Four Great Dragons: Qinglongmon = Goddramon = Holydramon < Megidramon

When viewing this list you should imagine "But there is situation X where character Y was placed as slightly weaker than character Z" and in fact it exists. It is very simple to say that Jesmon is weaker than Gankoomon currently. But I wrote this list according to more certain things in the general way. For example, we know clearly that Examon is stronger than Magnamon, but we do not know for sure the variation of power between Sleipmon and Craniummon, so I just put them as equals because I do not have much basis for saying anything different. There is variation of power, but I just think it is not too "obvious" to guarantee a particular space in the list. In general, groups can be established as:
- Four Holy Beasts = Four Great Dragons < Three Great Angels < Three Great Angels (Fallen) < Royal Knights = Seven Great Demon Lords
And in a particular order the the largest Power Scaling can be:
- Four Holy Beasts < Three Great Angels < Three Great Angels (Fallen) < Dukemon < Omegamon < Alphamon < Examon
- Four Holy Beasts < Three Great Angels < Three Great Angels (Fallen) < Lilithmon < Leviamon < Demon < Lucemon (Falldown Mode)
It is also important to remember that sometimes, groups can be treated as more equal because of specific situations. For example, we know that the Seven Great Demon Lords are more powerful than the Three Great Angels, but as these specifically use powers of light, it is sometimes possible to see them being considered as coming (As mentioned in the wars between Angels and Demons as when Ofanimon sealed one of the Demon Lords).
This list is still very incomplete, lacking characters such as Yggdrasil, Mother Eater, Bagramon and Millenniumon. So consider this list as under construction, in the future I will finish it.
