Amy Martin

Summary

Amy Martin is the main antagonist of Chapter 1 and an important character to the series as a whole. Once, Amy was a normal girl of the Martin family, who worked at a local clinic. However, when her father sent to her a strange doll as a present and she met a man named Gary at her workplace, she changed. She became quiet, sinister, and no medic could pinpoint an exact cause to what was happening to her. Fearing exorcism, the Martins called for the help of priests Allred and Ward. The exorcism session went awry, Amy slaughtered everyone involved except her brothers and John, who fled the scene.

For one year, that was the end of the story. However, John couldn't let go of the past that still haunted him, and went back to the accursed house, where still Amy lurks...

Powers and Stats

Tier: At least 9-C, possibly higher

Name: Amy Martin

Origin: Faith

Age: 17 years old

Gender: Female

Classification: Possessed Human, Demon

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Aura (Fear-inducing; Amy's mother couldn't tolerate looking at her for any period of time, despite not knowing why at the time), Levitation (Levitates above the ground), Teleportation (Amy can teleport both in short distances to catch enemies off-guard and several floors away from someone, possibly being able to teleport people so subtly they barely notice the transition), Illusion Creation (Amy can create illusory copies of her to distract targets), Perception Manipulation (Demons in general seem to cause visual warping of the place and particularly unsettling noises, and Amy is no exception, with her mother commenting that the house felt "wrong, slanted, distorted" when she was possessed), Temperature Manipulation (Amy apparently made the attic where she was in very cold), Technology Manipulation (Made all the telephones within a house stop working), Blood Manipulation (Demons in general can generate abnormal, seemingly unlimited, amounts of blood from their bodies and wounds without actually draining their vessels, even using the blood to pain demonic sigils and symbols. Amy has shown to do so several times across the game), Limited Biological Manipulation, Limited Soul Manipulation (Those possessed by demons have their bodies and souls warped, although the process can vary from almost instantly to several weeks, and a successful exorcism can apparently rectify the damage) and Limited Text Manipulation (Although it is unknown if it took time and if or how much the cult helped, Amy was involved in writing a note whose text warped as John read it and made him end up possessed, melting his body and deforming him completely), Invisibility (Can become invisible), Summoning (Amy can materialise grey spectres of similar speed and strong enough to kill John in one hit), Empowerment (The demon can feed off of fear to become stronger and invigorate itself), Possession (Demons in general can possess people, and Amy is possessed by one), Telepathy (Spoke the name of Allred's mother to him despite not knowing either of them), Telekinesis (Made the crosses of walls spin from afar and apparently unlocked the door to the uppermost floor by willing it), potentially many others (Amy is shown to be possessed by a seemingly very powerful demon, and it is possible that stronger demons have the capabilities of inferior ones)

Attack Potency: At least Street level, possibly higher with her powers (Easily slaughtered Allred and her parents, and in gameplay, can do the same to John with a single hit. Should scale to being at least comparable to Michael, that can easily overpower and kill wild deer in one hit; Warped, even if only slightly, the Martins' house, which is considerably large for a house. Can possibly scale to inferior demons and similarly higher-scaled demons with their powers, that can do feats such as warping whole rooms and houses severely, causing immense holes on thick concrete floors, and others)

Speed: Superhuman (Can dash and tackle faster than Michael at top speed, who is significantly faster than wild deer fleeing for their lives. Demons in general are considered much faster than human in close range)

Lifting Strength: Class 1, possibly higher (Managed to eviscerate her parents with her own hands and strangle them and broke out of her restraints, which should be metal shackles or tight ropes if Michael is used as a standard for demon containing. She should scale to being at least comparable, if not superior to demons such as Michael, that can overpower deers and tear apart humans with their bare hands; As a seemingly powerful demon, she should be above inferior demons that can, through their powers, move stone statues that are significantly larger than people)

Striking Strength: Street level

Durability: At least Street level. (Demons such as Amy can't be physically fought against by people, with even her parents together and Allred, which would be actively resisting her, being unable to do anything to her. Survived from a three story fall despite being very injured by the previous battle, although it should be noted that said fall crippled her ability to do anything else)

Stamina: Athletic (Can keep fighting for long periods of time despite being continually exorcized and beaten)

Range: Standard Melee Range; Tens of Meters with her powers.

Intelligence: Amy cunningly uses her abilities to disorient, manipulate, and brutally murder anyone who gets in her way, surviving an earlier attempt to exorcise her despite being outnumbered and killing nearly everyone involved.

Weaknesses: Amy, as a demon, is very vulnerable to holy symbols wielded by faithful people; Amy, while invisible, still leaves bloody symbols where she floats over which indicates her path, and she apparently needs to stay concentrated, with her snapping out of invisibility if she is wounded.

Standard Tactics: Amy is a insidious fighter. She prefers to sneak up to a person when possible, and if caught, casting several illusions to confuse the target before attacking him by surprise, and if that fails, teleporting away to try again or to do something new. If forced to fight directly, either by somehow cornering her or after defeating multiple ambushes, she tends to test the enemies by simply summoning spectres and seeing if the enemy can still keep attacking, and if so, she acts much more proactively, drawing bloody symbols on the ground and following the path stablished by the symbols and killing anyone that gets into her way, while ocasionally throwing a summoned spectre without warning or creating spheres of symbols and immediately tackling anyone that intrude upon them at her highest speed.

Notes: This profile covers Amy as a possessed person, she has no noteworthy characteristics as a human, thus her human form is not considered. Also, as with all Faith profiles, it is assumed that the demonic plot is genuine and not just a fabrication of John's mind.
