Summary

Gru is a character from the movie series Despicable Me. As a child, he admired a team of notorious villains known as the Vicious Six, and aspired to become a villain himself. However, when they rejected him from membership, he defeated them with the help of his Minions and their former member Wild Knuckles, who would eventually become his mentor.

As an adult, he found some success as a villain, but tried to end his career after adopting three children in a failed plot to steal the moon. Eventually, he married an agent of the clandestine Anti-Villain League and joined the organization himself.
