MEDreadnought
This, recruits, is a 20-kilo ferrous slug. Feel the weight. Every five seconds, the main gun of an Everest-class dreadnought accelerates one to 1.3 percent of light speed. It impacts with the force of a 38-kilotomb bomb. That is three times the yield of the city buster dropped on Hiroshima back on Earth. That means Sir Isaac Newton is the deadliest son-of-a-b**ch in space.
~ Gunnery Chief

Summary

The dreadnought is the ultimate arbiter of space warfare; millions of tons of metal, ceramic, and polymer dedicated to the projection of firepower against an enemy vessel of like ability. No sane commander would face a dreadnought with anything less than another dreadnought. The Everest-class Dreadnought is the older of the two dreadnought classes currently in service of the Alliance Navy.

A dreadnought's power lies in the length of its main gun. An 800-meter mass-accelerator is capable of accelerating one 20 kg slug to a velocity of 4025 km/s (1.3% of light speed) every two seconds.

Powers and Stats

Tier: 7-C via main gun

Name: Everest-class Dreadnought

Origin: Mass Effect

Classification: Spaceship

Length: 888 meters

Weight: Millions of tons

Material/s: metal, ceramic, and polymer

Needed prerequisite for use: Trained crew of an unknown, but great amount

Terrain: Space, Atmosphere

Attack Potency: Town level via main gun (38 kilotons)

Speed: FTL Travel Speed (Faster-than-light drives use element zero cores to reduce the mass of a ship, allowing higher rates of acceleration) with Sub-Relativistic Attack Speed (1 to 1.3% SoL)

Durability: Unknown, at least Town level (Being more durable than most other ship types, it should be capable of withstanding attacks from similarly powerful ships)

Range: Hundreds to thousands of kilometres, possibly more

Weaknesses: When bombarding planets, because of air friction, planets with atmospheres do not feel a slug's full devastation. Atmospheric drag reduces impact force by 20% per Earth atmosphere of air.
