Esoteric Hermit
The stone of your cave is one with the stars. Silence and perfection. Now the chaos of a fallen world disturbs your rituals and the caul of night grows blacker than your cavern’s gloom. Irritating!

Summary[]

Esoteric Hermits are renegades of society, raised outside the confines of the dying cities. They seek wisdom in the quiet places of the earth, venturing out to find even more wisdom. They are born almost invariably from eldritch, supernatural occurrences, ranging from being born on some ephemeral island out on the sea to simply awakening without memory from some foul ritual performed in the cities of Man.

Omens can be used to twist fate itself ever-so-slightly in your favor[4]), Mind Manipulation (The yellow flower, when given to another, makes them agree with the next thing you say, The Finger Painting of the Insane on contact with someone will cause them to paint a nearby surface with heretical imagery), Precognition (The Eye of Horus reveals where and how the user can die in their line of sight, With the "Little Poppet", one can peer into the mind of a target and gain awareness of their thoughts and intentions, as well as divine their next action[5]), Pocket Reality Manipulation, Sealing (The key Mikhael retrieved from the Mur can, when used to open any door, lead into a small fifteen by fifteen space that can only be opened from the outside; oxygen runs out in 24 hours), Empathic Manipulation (The sorrowful music box forces one to tell the truth, and possibly sob uncontrollably, The Spine of God attracts the poor towards the wielder, The War Starter provokes anyone who views it into attacking the wielder, The Ebony Tears causes incapacitating grief upon any living creature that comes into contact with it, The Foehammer causes the wielder to develop a grudge to random person which they can only remove by injuring said person), Adhesive Manipulation (The hangman's rope fuses to whatever it is tied to, and henceforth cannot be removed by any means- the rest of the rope becomes similarly immutable), Statistics Reduction (The giant's chisel can be used to magically destroy armor, negating any benefits gained, The Ripper Blade is specifically used to remove armor, Claw of the Sloth slows down anyone injured by it. Enough attacks renders them completely immobile), Weather Manipulation (The Spine of God when broken dispels clouds and storm, creating sunny weather), Necromancy (Those killed by the veil of blood rise as a Blood-Drenched Skeleton (MÖRK BORG), When the Cursed Tongue of the Naga is inserted into a skull, it will run away with the forked tongue acting as legs), Fire Manipulation (Fire contains an everlasting fire which is only extinguishable by the tears of SHE), Electricity Manipulation (The Volt Thrower can occasionally summon bolts of lightning), Underwater Breathing (The Zodiac Lung allows the user to breathe in dirty water and store said water for attacking), Illusion Creation (The Dust of Paradise when inhaled causes visions of a pleasant world on the inhaler), Plant Manipulation (Flowers of Disease can spread at an alarming growth with just a few seeds.
