Witness this invincible battleship, built by the hands of a genius! Its power... unmatched throughout the universe!
~ Neo Metal Sonic disguised as Eggman in Sonic Heroes

All batteries on the landing strip, fire! All hands on deck! Full armament! Surround and disable- but I want him alive!
~ Neo Metal (Modern) commanding Badniks to prevent Sonic's escape.

Summary

The Egg Fleet (also referred to as the Eggman Fleet) is the might of the Eggman Empire given aerial form, a formidable armada of flying battleships. Their force is most often commanded and directed by Dr. Eggman in his path of global conquest, each battleship loaded with a vast amount of Badniks, but it has occasionally aided the heroes (even if inadvertently) in times such as defending Earth against the invasion of the Black Arms.

Attack Potency: Wall level with Infantry (Grounder Badniks have shown this level of strength, which all Badniks should be comparable to),[10] Brown Dwarf level with its Weaponry | Wall level (Eggman's standard Badniks should be no weaker than before, with them making up for it in their ease of production) to Large Star level with Infantry (Stronger Badniks in the Egg Fleet, such as the Solid Pawns, Egg Knights, and Heavy-Egg Hammers, require several to numerous hits from members of Team Sonic and Team Dark before they're destroyed), Large Star level to Solar System level with its Weaponry (The Egg Carrier can harm the Tornado and has defenses which are capable of harming the likes of Adventure Sonic and Adventure Shadow[11]) | Low Multiverse level (2 universes. The Egg Cauldron is a threat to Sonic and Tails in Unleashed with its weapons. Eventually 12 universes. Sonic and Tails note that Badniks have gotten stronger over time. Standard Buzz Bombers can cause extensive damage to the Eggmobile, make Sonic dodge their attacks and retreat, and could "fry" Modern Tails.[12] A group of standard Egg Pawns can provide trouble to Sonic and Amy in small groups,[13] as well as Shellcrackers being able to temporarily incapacitate Sonic.[14] Cannons aboard Eggman's ships left Sonic reeling and knocked him off his feet on direct impact.[15] Blaze alluded that the only reason the Egg Fleet couldn't harm her was because she was Burning Blaze[16]) with Infantry and Weaponry

Speed: At least FTL for the aircrafts (Flying Battery Zone can outpace Sonic with its flight) | Massively FTL for the aircrafts (Should be no slower than before. Can keep pace with the Tornado) | Massively FTL+ to Infinite for the aircrafts (Sonic had to increase his speed to keep up with the Egg Carrier during the Soleanna incident. Eggman's aircraft's can travel cosmic distances to Planet Wisp and should be superior to the likes of Dodon Pa's Rocket that was used to do the same, with the Sonic universe being infinite size), Infantry, and its Weaponry (Egg Fleet Battery cannons can apply pressure to and tag Modern Sonic with its artillery fire[15])

Power Source: Woodland Critters to power Badniks, Unknown for the Fleet itself | Woodland Critters and Power Cores for Infantry (Many of Eggman's Badniks utilize Power Cores, which drop upon defeat),[17] Unknown for the Fleet itself | Power Cores, potentially others (Dr. Starline notes that Power Cores are used by a variety of machines in the Eggman Empire,[8] with Eggman noting that he has a reserve of them[18])

Industrial Capacity: Unknown (However, it should be noted that Eggman never faces issues in producing and sending out Badniks for his assaults against Sonic and co.) | Immensely high (The Pawn Series, a mainstay in Eggman's infantry upon their introduction, are referred to as "effective" and "cheap to produce"[19]) | Same as before, if not greater (When powered by animals, Badniks can be produced quickly and efficiently.[12] The Metal Virus was an attempt at a limitless workforce that would aid in completing any project in a matter of days, if not hours, and only failed because of intervention from Sonic and the Chaos Emerald-amped Deadly Six[20])

Military Prowess: Due to being part of the Eggman Empire, it shares its military prowess.

Notable Individuals: Dr. Eggman, Neo Metal Sonic (Both Adventure and Modern Era)

Notable Warships:

Model Description Example
Wing Fortress Zone Described as a secret stronghold,[21] the Wing Fortress Zone (ウィングフォートレス, Wingu Fōtoresu) is a flying battleship created by Dr. Eggman. It has various traps and hazards throughout much of the ship, be it from Badniks or design, with various areas that allow for infiltrators to fall to the ground below. For a better look at the Wing Fortress in its entirety, see here.
Flying Battery Zone A second warship crafted by Dr. Eggman, Flying Battery Zone (フライングバッテリー ゾーン, Furaingu Batterī Zōn) is a massive aircraft that's described as and shown to be littered with traps.[22][23] Many hazards found in Wing Fortress can also be found here, such as areas which require traversal over hazardous drops. For a more extensive look at Flying Battery Zone, see here and here.

Model Description Example
The Egg Carrier
Behold my floating masterpiece, the Egg Carrier!
~ Dr. Eggman presenting his latest and greatest aircraft; Sonic Adventure; After Chaos 4 boss.

An aircraft carrier so large that it has a transit system to transport supplies at high speeds. The Egg Carrier is a notable jump from past aircrafts, like having laser turrets and laser cannons with suppressive fire,[24] artillery cannons which shoot spiked and flaming projectiles, minds at the underbelly of the ship,[25] giant laser which blasts out the front, teleporters,[26] and a designated battle mode that makes it harder to traverse the ship.

Egg Carrier01
Space Shuttle Through unknown means, Dr. Eggman got his hands on a Space Shuttle. Its unclear as for why as he could make his own space craft as early as Sonic 2.

Weaknesses: Certain creations in the fleet have self-destructive features | Same as before | None notable

Feats:

Note: Despite several noted aircrafts within the profile existing before the Egg Fleet's introduction in Sonic Heroes (Wing Fortress Zone and Flying Base Zone, The Egg Carrier, etc.), they are indexed due to their status as aircrafts built by Dr. Eggman.
