Easter is a member of the Old Gods. She is the Germanic Goddess Ēostre or Ostara, from whom the Easter festival derives its namesake. Easter was originally a festival in her honor, and though it has since been assimilated by Christianity, Ostara still receives a lot of indirect power from the festival, as many of the old customs and symbols such as hares and decorated eggs have remained. Because of this, she is reluctant to join Wednesday in his war against the New Gods, as she is quite comfortable with her current situation.
