Summary
Dr. Ivo Robotnik, adopting the better-known alias of Dr. Eggman during Sonic Adventure, is the main and recurring antagonist of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. With an IQ of 300, he is a scientist whose brilliance is used for achieving his vision of dominating the world under his will and direction; a goal that puts him at odds with his archnemesis, Sonic the Hedgehog. Their encounters and battles throughout the years have eventually spanned across both time and space, from the emptiness of White Space to the fiery Sol Dimension, and has ultimately led to some of his greatest creations.
He has grown a passionate hatred for the blue hedgehog and his friends, wanting to prove above all else that he can truly defeat Sonic.[9] Each defeat has only pushed him further in his conquest; discovering another power source, creating a bigger robot, finding a new monster to use. Despite his goofy demeanor, he has oftentimes shown a terrifying competence that poses a legitimate danger to the world. From bringing the world to its knees during the 6-month Eggman War to creating the world-conquering Metal Virus, his intellect is tamed only by his ego.
Despite the constant setbacks, Dr. Eggman has refused to give up on the success of his plans; a determination and tenacity matched only by Sonic himself, each more than willing to prove to the other that their way is the right way.

Due to Otherworld being powered by the Phantom Ruby, a far superior power source than what Eggman used to create his Test Run maze, and the Phantom Ruby demonstrating many of the same abilities as Test Run, along with Otherworld being created with a similar purpose to Test Run of trapping characters in alternate worlds forever, Otherworld should have the same dimensionality as Test Run, another Eggman creation with four spatial dimensions.)
